I think it's time for change......we need a different kind of WWE game. Every year it just feels like too much of the same thing as the previous year.
Yes the storymode is always different and the roster is always updates....but the entrances, the commentary, the move animations....it's always 10% new and 90% the same as last year.
And let's not even get started on the glitches....last year, WWE 12 had essentially a disabled online ability, and this year in WWE 13 you have no match drama because it's impossible to hold down the CPU in a pin for a 2 count! It's either 1 or 3.
It's time for another company to step in and make a game that looks and feels different.

I am all about THQ not getting the WWE license anymore. This years game was not worth all the 80 ing dollars, DLC included that I paid for this. Difference is key. I'd have waited 2-3-4-5 years before a new game if it meant we got a meaningful gaming experience worth my money. For too long we let that little bugger Ledesma hype this game to , promise us all good, and make crap. I'll give the devil their due, honestly, I liked '12. '13, Not so much, same shiz, different day. I remember AKI making a game not too too far back, Ready 2 Rumble, I think. I'd love to see a current day AKI game(Yes, I know, and every other ing smark gamer as well) just for the new features I feel they'd put in. Another one is Spike/Agetec, the work force behind the, in my honest opinion, bar-none, the greatest wrestling game in HISTORY, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. Hell, I forgot who made RAW on the XBOX, or Day Of Reckoning on the GameCube.At this point, I'll take whatever change I can get. I'm sick of WWE having the monoploy on wrestling games nowadways regardless, so, just like back in the day, with WWE and WCW, THQ can phone it in, and not give a , because there isn't anyone out there who competes with him. I feel so bad for Vince, He lost something of like 90 million in his dumbass wife's futile campaign efforts, and getting shafted by THQ 45 million, after they were phoning in every game since 2006. I feel REALLY bad for Vince, and I never feel bad for the wealthy, but this year has to have been horrible for him.

Rockstar please. Imagine the story mode! and imagine how outdated it will be with the three to five years it takes for them to make a game. I for one am 100% happy with the games THQ puts out and hope they are able to keep doing so. An out of date game with a ton of effort in it would be much better than the crap THQ puts out each year. The reason Rockstar games get such high praise is because they take the time to make the game good, whether it be four, five or even six years. Even the GTA IV DLC took a while to make but the end result was worth the wait, same with Red Dead.

Ubisoft? So in WWE 15 we are going to have zombies vs. WWE Superstars in a dance off? We've already had zombies in SDvsRaw 2011 (I think). Some of their story ideas have been ing tragic over the years. I don't like change, but I think it's time to give someone else a go.

I think they should really make online support a top priority. A major reason why people don't buy the game (but rent it instead) is because you quickly finish it and run out of things to do.
They should make more DLC content available, entrances, tron videos, include more developmental talent, update ''top 25'' lists, make wrestler stats adjustable to what's happening on Raw and Smackdown every week;
Improving the feud engine would also help as it would really make everyone's gaming experience unique. I could have hours of fun with the game if the ''Create a storyline'' mode was more fluid and that the actions I do with each wrestlers actually has an impact. For example, I interfered maybe 3-4 times in matches between 2 guys, cost 1 of them a championship and I'm still not in a feud with him.
Lastly, I think they should make an option where universe mode is playable with just 1 wrestler you choose. The storyline in the universe would then follow that wrestler more specifically and you could skip all the other fights you don't care about instead of having to ''sim-to-date''.
Just my thoughts, though I agree wrestling games are a pretty hard sell.

I get that EA did right by Fifa but that is one game out of so many they have done wrong. And the likelihood of them taking a wrestling game which is IMO a niche audience to begin with, and do well with it is laughable. I say go with a smaller company more dedicated to pleasing it's consumers because they actually have to. Also make sure they get a team that understands wrestling to make and test the games. There is no way WWE 13 was tested, it's just not possible.
