i've been there already. in july. it was so hot in that place. wally burger and greek fries was really tasty for fairly cheap. would you go there or winks? which one would you recommend? Nice I was there in July last year as well for Rock The Park, that Diner was sooo tasty, got some delicious breakfast! Coming back again this year for Rock The Park 10!!! when we drove by it was packed, so we parked, registered for price is right and went to eat at The Works. more expensive, but well worth every single penny. Makes me want to make one of those burgers at home now. I may be in town for the first night of RTP - but not for that show. It's rumored KISS is doing a show a Bud Gardens the same night as the first night of RTP. Price s Right was so much fun - even if we didn't get called. My buddy was actually called up and spun the wheel during the first wheel segment.

Oh man, what a ing dud this trip to the car show turned out to be. Me and a buddy got there at about 10:45 this morning and paid the $20 admission and walked around for a bit and checked out the cars. They had the awesome '89 Batmobile as well as my dream car, The 01 General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard on display. We then found the MegaSpeed booth where Goldberg was to be signing this morning from 11-12. So, we got in line at like 11:10 or shortly after and stood around waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting some more. NOBODY from the show came by with any sort of update as to why Goldberg was running late or nothing, but we knew from a girl behind us in line that Goldberg WAS there, in the building because he had been sending tweets out. That's really nice that he was off having a fun ing time, meanwhile at least 50+ people were standing in line, but for us and the people ahead of us, we were standing around waiting in line for at least an hour and fifteen minutes and still no sign of ing Goldberg or no word from anyone working at the damn show. FINALLY, over the P.A. system they made an announcement that Goldberg was in the building and would now be appearing at 2 and once we heard that, us and the people in front of us were like that and left the line and so did everyone else behind us. So, we waited in line for about an hour and twenty minutes for ing NOTHING!!! Needless to say, we were both ing pissed off. It's nice Goldberg was having a good time visiting the kids petting zoo, which is apparently on another level in the building, meanwhile his "fans" are stuck waiting around for nothing for over an hour. After we left the line, I headed over to the 40th Anniversary American Graffiti booth and got Candy Clark, Bo Hopkins and Paul LeMat to sign my American Graffiti Blu-Ray cover. They were charging $10 each, which I had no problem with paying. They were all VERY nice and I am SO glad I got the chance to meet them. I will cherish that Blu-Ray for a long time to come. But, as for my buddy, the trip was a complete loss for him. He wasted the gas driving there and back, as well as the $20 admission. As for me, I paid the $20 admission and $10 each to meet the 3 classic stars from American Graffiti, so it wasn't a complete loss. But, we will NEVER waste the time to meet Goldberg ever again. He didn't give a crap about the fans who were waiting around to meet him today. Goldberg SUCKS. End of story.

^That sucks about Goldberg.. I wanted to go, but ended up not going because of the admission price.
Although, today I went to another three Value Villages and picked up a Shawn Michaels Unmatched Fury. It was $5 and it came with an MVP Unmatched Fury. I already have the MVP, but HBK is my favourite wrestler, so I had to get it.

yea that sucks that goldberg disregarded the fans, but lol @ him being at a petting zoo... Yeah, I know eh?? The chick behind us in line said Goldberg tweeted a picture of him with a snake, so he was definitely in the building, but he certertainly was NOT where he was scheduled and advertised to be, that's for damn sure!! What a let-down. I brought along a few items for him to sign and we ended up leaving just after I met the actors from American Graffiti. We weren't willing to wait another hour and forty minutes for his ass to FINALLY show up. Forget that. Once we heard the P.A. announcement, it was about 12:20 and they said Goldberg would be signing at 2, so we said it and left his line and weren't thinking of going back.

I was able to meet Goldberg yesterday at the auto show. Showed up at 10 am when they opened as he was supposed to be there at 11. Around 1230 they announced he wouldnt sign until 2pm. So went and grabbed lunch and came back for 130. I was at the front of the line at 10 am but the second time I came back there was a lot more people in line. Goldberg didn't show until about 230pm. It sucks that we had to wait but on the plus side he was cool when I met him. Signed anything and everything you asked. Will post pics tonight.

^That sucks about Goldberg.. I wanted to go, but ended up not going because of the admission price. what was the issue with the Admission price being the reason? $20 so u can get basically unlimited autographs from Goldberg? one of the biggest names in WCW history? seems like a much better deal than paying at least $10 per autograph from low level jobbers like Big Vito and Little Guido...

That's exactly why I went. 20 bucks got me 5 autographs from one of the biggest names of all time. Only complaint on my end was the wait time.

Expensive for sure but I found that it was still cheaper than both RSC and eBay. It was also interesting that series 20 had a shelf tag that stated they were "Available Only At TRU".

That's true, but there wasn't a guarantee to meet Goldberg.. If it was a sure thing, I would have gone.

Guess Mattel is going to send Elites as TRU exclusives now.
