I just read on Twitter from Joey Styles that there's gonna be an 8 Man Tournament featuring NXT wrestlers and the winner will be in the Royal Rumble.

As much of a fan I am of The Rock's, I am rooting for a Punk win. Purely because it takes away the chances of a Cena/Rock II and who in their right mind wants to see that happen. I'd like to see a series of events happen that leaves the match unable to continue. Perhaps Brock Lesnar playing a role to do Heyman a favour. I do however want to see either a rematch of Punk/Rock at Wrestlemania or Rock/Lesnar and Punk/Taker.
Asides from that match, i'm looking forward to seeing Del Rio, I swear though if they take the belt off him i'll be heartbroken. Been a fan since day one and i'm loving his face turn.
As for the Rumble, i'm rooting for a winner that is unpredictable e.g anyone but Cena. It seems most years that the wrestler that hypes themselves up most before the Rumble doesn't win it. See Triple H in 2008, Jericho last year etc. I hope WWE aren't stupid enough to have Cena win after he's the only man in these cheesy promo's and after his 10 minute promo's each week on how this is his year.
Being realistic. It's going to be Cena winning to challenge Rock or Rock/Punk at Wrestlemania or it will be someone that will challenge Del Rio or Show at Wrestlemania, which leaves Orton or Sheamus. Out of those three I guess i'd take Orton, but i'm not thrilled about any of them winning. Far out shots would be Ryback, Miz and Dolph Ziggler. Neither of these guys have any close link to the WHC and aren't main stream enough for the WWE Championship so case closed imo.
Oh, and for the last few days all i've been thinking about is a Batista return. I don't know why but I seriously would mark out for it.

Most excited I've been for a PPV since Mania last year. And kyle, to answer your question, I want to see Rock vs. Cena II. I'm sure most casual viewers do as well. I find it amusing that you want to see a Rock vs. CM Punk rematch when you haven't even seen their first encounter, mind...

We've already seen Punk/Rock work for weeks, not necessarily in a match but it's clear they have chemistry. You're right though, i'm sure the casual fan does want to see Rock/Cena again, I just think having the same main event twice in a row is lacking creativity, we already had an awesome match between them, time to move on. I think the triple threat idea would be golden for the casual fan though, Punk is too big to be left out of the Main Event again.

Punk has never been in the main event of WrestleMania and after the past year hes had, he should take nothing less. I wouldn't even mind if Cena won to be honest.

I want Cena to get one over on Rock whilst not winning the WWE Title... so my dream scenario, if there was indeed a Triple Threat, would be CM Punk winning and retaining his Title, followed by Rock and Cena feuding again after realising they both failed on their quests to finally win the gold again (with Cena finally beating Rock in a big match at, say, Summerslam.)

Isn't it kind of pointless to have Dolph "have to pick between entrant #1 or #2"?

Isn't it kind of pointless to have Dolph "have to pick between entrant #1 or #2"? lol yep. Always has pissed me off how they seem to forget that starting from 1 OR 2 gives you the exact same task, the same chance, and the same distance to go in order to win. They always play up the No.1 spot even though No.2 is the same thing.

WWE has added yet another title match to this Sunday's Royal Rumble PPV. The new WWE Divas Champion, Kaitlyn, will defend her belt against Tamina.

Does anyone want to take bets on what they'll do if Cena wins the Rumble match?
Examples: Dancing in a chicken suit and shouting, "THERE'S A TV IN MY HEAD!!!" Wearing Cena merchandise all day long Eating your least favorite food
Stuff like that. This is an open challenge to anyone that doesn't want Cena to win.

Think I'm going to order this one. I usually only do it a couple times a year (Wrestlemania being the other), and I haven't been able to watch a Pay-Per-View live since Hell in a Cell due to other commitments, so, why not? Rock/Punk and the Rumble match should hopefully give me my money's worth.

Some people go batcrapover Cena winning anything so I think it'll be funny to see what happens if he DOES win.
