And who told me that Punk trains with MMA fighters?? When? on his 1 day off a month?? Ive trained with Ben Askren before, you may know him as the Bellator Welterweight Champ and an Olympic Wrestler. Please just be quiet.. know your role and shut your ing mouth. Watch out, we've got a badass over here... Seriously, you are ing annoying, and I'm one of the guys who shares your opinion and actually liked that the Rock won. At least I know if you keep this up you'll be gone fast.

WHAT WOULD HAVE COME OUT OF PUNK RETAINING THE TITLE? NOTHING. STFU YOU IDIOTIC MARKS. THE ROCK IS THE MAN. Oh, I don't know. Unpredictability? A huge victory over The Rock? Cementing his legacy as one as one of the greatest champions of all time? Shock value? Oh, and did I mention a clear a cut path to Cena/Rock/Punk, a match that has literally written itself and would an absolutely monstrous Wrestlemania main event? Need I go on? I didn't think so. Fun show. Good match out of Del Rio and Show, surprisingly. Same goes for the Tag Title match. I had a lot of fun with the Rumble match itself. Jericho's return was fantastic. I couldn't help but laugh the fact that not a single dirtsheet accurately reported a single surprise entrant. Yet people still choose to listen to them. Hilarious. Again, Cena winning couldn't have been any more predictable, so it's not like we can really get upset about it. Rock/Punk was good, but it could have been a lot better. The Shield's "blackout" interference was stupid, and so was restarting the match. What was the purpose of shutting the lights off if Cole was going to tattle? It would have made a lot more sense to just leave them on, end in disqualification, and reproduce the rest of the match. Makes no sense to me. It's just truly unfortunate that Punk has literally been an roundabout traditional champion for fourteen months. He's been a placeholder until the "big boys" get back at it again, which is a complete and total joke.

I just don't understand this. I didn't mind Cena winning, but why Rock? Why did Rock have to bury Miz at WrestleMania 27? Why did he have to beat Cena at WrestleMania 28? Why was Punk's historic title reign just another achievement for Rock? Bro, we all knew Rock was going to come back for this year's Mania. It only makes sense for Cena to get his revenge against Rock, and he'll get his spinner belt back. It really shouldn't be a shock. I know - I really shouldn't have been shocked. I just had hope. I had no problem with Cena winning the rumble. I was looking forward to Punk/Cena/Rock at 'Mania. Maybe we'll still get it, but it would've been better with Punk going in as champion. Cena/Rock II at Mania where we all know Cena is going to win is just bleh. So predictable. They need to throw in a curve ball.

All joking aside I really dislike rock winning the belt but I'm glad he gets to hold it one more time

At the very least Vince could've stripped him of the title and let there be a tournament at Elimination Chamber or something. That would have been a win/win for Vince. CM Punk loses the title but Rock never cleanly beats him. I just don't understand the logic in bringing back a guy who isn't even on the regular roster to beat a guy who has been a staple of the company for the last year. Guess some things never change, Dwayne will always get what he wants.

Just throwing it out there, if Punk were to keep the title until 'Mania, it would've been exactly 500 days. Shame they wouldn't even let him keep it that long, that would've been a pretty sweet milestone.

I literally have no idea what to think.
Opener was good for what it was.
Tag match was decent. Nothing special, nor was it meant to be.
Rumble match opened strong and got worse as it went along. Cena winning is just so annoying. He doesn't need it at this point. A friend of mine who watched the Attitude Era and part of Ruthless Aggression era just said to me 'John Cena - the face of the WWE's decline'. I wholeheartedly agree.
The Rock vs Punk is what it always was going to be. The Rock is a global star. The WWE have a small-mind mentality. They think it's a big deal when Khloe Kardashian tweets about their show. You honestly think they're going to pass up the chance of having THE ROCK be their champion? No chance in hell, pun intended. They wouldn't let Cena go over Rock in a match with no belt involved, they sure as hell weren't going to let Punk go over Rock for the title.
Truthfully, I switched who I wanted to win the title match about 4 times in the weeks leading up to the PPV. But when I seen The Rock standing there with the title, I just had to smile. It's hard to believe he's the WWE Champion in 2013. Older viewers might tune in to RAW tomorrow night, they have a big chance to make it good.
Punk needs to have a shoot promo tomorrow on RAW. Like, seriously. Lapsed fans will be watching, Punk needs to appeal to that fanbase tomorrow. WWE need to take advantage of this. If RAW tomorrow is of a similar quality to their shows for the past 4 years, they won't gain anything from this.
To be honest, when Vince was talking - I thought he was turning heel. I thought he was going to say 'congratulate you' before Rock cut him off. Then when the match restarted, I really wanted Vince to screw Rock and form a heel-faction with Punk and Heyman claiming that Rock had destroyed the credibility of pro wrestling which would have ended in a triple threat at Mania with Rock/Cena/Punk. Alas, it was not to be. WWE took the easy way out. Completely understandable, but the idea I had, in my mind anyways, was infinitely better.

True, but have one long title reign going into it would've been so much better than Rock holding the title for three weeks. Punk losing at WrestleMania would've been fine, but he just had to lose the first time around. I don't why I ever thought they'd have somebody go over Rock.
