Just a random thought I had, laying here I'm bed with a high fever.
Anderson is clearly Hall Of Fame bound.
The Induction of a fighter is usually reserved for after their retirement or right around their retirement. Being that Anderson's induction is such a forgone conclusion at this point, how would you feel about him being inducted before his next fight? Of if there's another Brazil card he'll be fighting on soon, what if they inducted him then, in his homeland? You know the Braziliand would go wild.
Plus, they could use it to sell him further.
Dana-"This guy is in the Hall Of Fame. He could fight for another 5-10 years, who knows. We've never seen anything like him before."
It'd be a cool concept.

Yeah, I'd have no problem with it.

Kneejerk reaction was to say that it's too soon and that a Hall of Fame exists to honor those that have sailed off into the sunset in their respective sports... but to be completely honest, Silva has done more than enough (much more) to warrant a Hall of Fame induction if he retired tomorrow. Normally I'd say no, but since it's Anderson and it really is just THAT MUCH of a foregone conclusion, I'd be o.k. with it.
By the way, I'm still alive. >.>

Now that Chael Sonnen's relinquished his Middleweight title to the guy to face greater challenges Anderson is now pretty much done it all. So they might as well unless the want to see him dominate a WW in GSP first.

They did it with Hughes, so I see why not with Anderson.
