LIVE from the Pepsi Centre in Denver, Colorado! We get all the fancy stuff at the start of the show. A real description? Why start now?Alecia Matthews: We are live from the Pepsi Centre her in Denver, Colorado! I’m Alecia Matthews and sitting beside me is my broadcast colleague, Samael Ahriman. Samael Ahriman: S’up. Alecia Matthews: We have a huge show lined up for you here tonight with the qualifying round of the number one contenders tournament. The winners of tonight’s matches will advance to next week’s number one contender battle royal and the winner of that will face either Phillip Schneider, or both Schneider and Mak Cross for the WFWF World Championship. Samael Ahriman: Not just that Alecia, but we’re kicking off the show in style. Our esteemed owner Xavier Pierce is already in the ring! Alecia Matthews: You’re such a kiss ass. We head into the ring where Xavier Pierce is indeed standing front and centre, microphone in hand. He’s looking all serious as if he’s spent all week dealing with a load of stars who jumped ship. Oh wait, he was.Xavier Pierce: Thank you for joining us all tonight, I know you want action and we intend to give it to you but first I have to say a few words. You see over the last fortnight there have been a number of issues behind the scenes involving contracted wrestlers no longer wanting to be here in front of all of you terrific fans. The fans cheer. Way to get them on side.Xavier Pierce: This is nothing new to us; the WFWF has always had a revolving door policy to keep our roster as fresh and exciting as it can possibly be. Unfortunately we have never had a departure of such mass and magnitude before because there have never been this many whiny little girls jumping ship instead of sticking around and putting in the hard work and effort that the rest of our roster put in each and every week. Luckily we… His voice is drowned out by the opening chords of “Seizure of Power” playing out over the speakers. While usually this would be the point the lights switch off right now they stay on, though the mass abuse from the crowd very much remains the same as WFWF International Champion Trace Demon walks out onto the stage, geared up in jeans and a black hoodie, the International Championship glistening around his waist.Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon interrupting Xavier’s WFWF address, I can’t see that going down well. Samael Ahriman: This guy just can’t stand to be out of the spotlight for five minutes. In the ring Xavier Pierce looks more than a little pissed off that Trace Demon has chosen a serious time to interrupt him. He tries to say something but the music continues to blare out, his words losing any meaning in the violent melody. Trace gives a little signal and the music cuts off but before Xavier can speak Trace lifts his microphone up, getting in there first, making his way down the ramp as he speaks.Trace Demon: Are you really doing this? I mean seriously, I’ve heard plenty of crap come out of your mouth since you took over here but you’re actually doing this? Unbelievable. Xavier Pierce: Get the hell out of here Trace; this isn’t the time for any of your games. Trace Demon: Games? You think I play games? No, I’m deadly serious when it comes to the truth Xavier. I mean I may struggle telling it sometimes, but I know when someone else is peddling crap and I don’t like it very much. He climbs up the steel ring steps and enters the ring through the ropes.Trace Demon: You see ladies and gentleman Xavier Pierce wants you to believe that the people who left did so because they couldn’t handle putting in the hard graft, and while that bit may be true, it isn’t the whole truth. I mean tell me Xavier, how did this company get in such a pathetic state in the first place? Because of you. Because you don’t know what the hell you’re doing. Xavier Pierce: You need to watch who you’re talking to. Trace Demon: Or what? You can’t fire me, you can’t suspend me, not with that iron clad contract you so smartly signed. See, the only thing you can do is sit back and let me do whatever the hell I want. And that’s the problem, a smart man would never have signed that contract, a smart man would never have let people like EBR and the New Epoch just walk off, a smart man wouldn’t have lost control. If the captain is sinking the ship then you can’t blame people if they just off, you understand? Trace turns to the crowd, begins speaking directly to them.Trace Demon: This man does not have this companies best interests at heart, he does what he does because he loves money. He cut a superior announce team and brought in a hot substitute and that loser Ahriman because they’re dirt cheap. He signed me to an iron clad, do whatever I want contract because he was scared I’d walk, he lost control and let several stars walk out. He is burning this company to the ground and me… He turns back to an absolutely irate Xavier Pierce.Trace Demon: I’m gonna watch it go and then piss on the ashes. He drops the microphone to the canvas, walks towards the ropes and climbs out of the ring, leaving Xavier Pierce absolutely seething in the ring.Alecia Matthews: And yet again Trace Demon embarrasses Xavier Pierce, there is no way this is going to end well for him. Samael Ahriman: Did he call me a loser? Screw him. In the opening triple threat match, all three men started out in the match ready for a fight. Contra started out slightly dominating the other two men as despite his size, DK’s new and Mickey’s brand new. Some time went by as Contra was dominating both with a series of dropkicks and European uppercuts and takes the others by storm. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to keep that up forever. Mickey started making a bit of a comeback, and slowly so did DK. Ultimately DK and Mickey teamed up momentarily to take Contra completely out of the picture, DK getting Contra up onto his shoulders in a sitting position and Mickey going for broke, springboarding himself off of the opposing ropes and clotheslining Contra off of DK’s shoulders, out of the ring. Both men hit the mat with a thud while DK stands in the ring taunting the downed men. Mickey pulled himself into the ring after some time and took a strong swing at DK, who dodged it and dropped him with an Edgacution. The big man stood in the ring, the lone survivor and got a grin on his face. He ascended the top rope and let out a bit of a yell and then the big man lept off and hit the Devil’s Final Flight on Mickey for the cover.Christa Adina: Here is your winner, Devilkiller! Alecia Matthews: Yikes. That’s…yikes. Talent for someone that big to do something like that? Samael Ahriman: Presuming ZMaster doesn’t make it into the match next week, given his overwhelming size, one has to wonder the destruction Devilkiller just left in his wake could be what’s going to be left of the upper echlon of the WFWF next show and ultimately, the WFWF Champion Phillip Schneider at the next Pay Per View. Alecia Matthews: Yeah, stay turned on the ridiculously talented monkey wrench that was just thrown in to that match man. In the second match of the night Cam Nitta clashed with one of the big returning stars involved in tonight’s show, Justin Tyme. The match started off firmly in Tyme’s wheelhouse as The Anarchist kept things firmly on the ground, refusing to let Nitta get any momentum and use his stylish parkour that has got him this far. As the match went on Nitta began getting in more and more offence and while Tyme definitely held his own when it came to high flying he just couldn’t keep up with Nitta. Instead of working harder Tyme went a different route by going to work over Cam’s knee in the hope of stopping him from executing his high flying offence. It seemed to have the required effect as Nitta’s knee gave way when he went for a springboard off of the ropes and Tyme quickly went for the Super Happy Fun Slide, only for Nitta to roll him up. Tyme kicked out, but as he got up Nitta hit a leaping high kick to the skull and then went up for the Claymore. This time he nailed the springboard and connected with the Claymore to take the victory.Christa Adina: And your winner, Cam Nitta! Alecia Matthews: A huge win for Cam Nitta as he advances to the number one contender battle royal next week, but Justin Tyme will be hugely disappointed with how close he came. Samael Ahriman: For his first match back that was a pretty impressive showing, a few more matches and he’ll be heading towards the top. It's the middle of the night in a school yard, and somehow Penny Shannon's found herself in the playground, sitting all chill with a spliff on the swing; rocking, back and forth, back and forth. Beside her, the gentle hum of tapehiss hum from an early 2000's model of a boombox, just waiting for the jangle of the next song to begin. Mazzy Star's "Give You All My Lovin”. How nice, Penny thought as she shrugged her shoulders and dropped her head against the chain of the swing; turning her eyes to look at the person who was obviously standing in front of her with a camera.Penny Shannon: Hello WFWF Universe, or whatever it is they happen to call their fan base, I'm Penny Shannon. You should know me as the taller girl that was hanging around the very princess of wrestling herself, Scarlett Quinn, when she gave a personal and riveting shoot on WFWF.Com last week. In the five years I've spent in this sport, I've never been one to just wait for an opportunity to be handed to her nor would I just try to make a big statement by attacking someone valuable enough to the roster. But I think it's more important to introduce myself to everyone, maybe let you all in just a little on what I want from the WFWF. Now, I've wrestled for a lot of promotions across the world and the thing that annoyed the crap out of me was the fact that around 87% of those promotions negated me to a Women's division they probably didn't even want in the first place. But yet, despite how offensive this promotion has been to all the girls who ever set foot in their ring, they we're always given the same opportunities that men were. Women have held every important title in the WFWF with the exception of the World Heavyweight title and the reason that is because there hasn't been a girl stupid enough to fight for it. But you know what? Penny opens her hand, her fingers gesturing to come a little closer.Penny Shannon: I'm that girl! Taking another drag off the spliff, Penny drops her head back and swings again, a nice cloud forming around her as she swings back down.Penny Shannon: You should be seeing more of me later in tonight's broadcast of Revolution, but I thought it was extremely important that I gave myself this introduction. Later! We return to ringside where Christa Adina is stood in the ring, ready to introduce the next match.Christa Adina: The following match is scheduled for one fall, introducing first. Everyone loves the Monkees and as Valorie Evan's entrance music plays throughout the arena, the crowd goes absolutely wild, not only for beautiful tunes of her theme music, but for the wrestler accompanying them as well. Kneeling just before the entrance ramp, Valorie then closes her eyes momentarily, soaking in the moment before screaming "I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!" as fireworks ignite, Valorie pointing and looking skyward. Walking confidently down the ramp, she tries to spot couples, and smiles at the evidence of love throughout the arena. The hopeless romantic inside her hopes she'll find love again as she reaches the ring steps.Christa Adina: From Seattle, Washington, standing 5’4 and weighing in at well over 100lbs, she is True Loves Avenger… Valorie… Evans! Step by step, she ascends onto ringside, gripping the top rope as she rubs the heels of her boots against the ring mat. Leaning back for a second, she then leaps over the top rope and rolls onto a knee, again looking skyward before getting onto her feet. Retreating to a ring corner, Valorie then does a quick spin and leaps onto the middle rope, holding a confident fist in the air as her fans scream in approval of their favorite avenger. Jumping down, she then rolls her shoulders and waits for the bell to ring, dedicating the match to her fallen love as she cups her hands against her heart.Alecia Matthews: Valorie Evans is another of our big returnees here tonight, and let me just say it’s good to see some more women here in the WFWF. Samael Ahriman: Do you think I stand a chance? Alecia Matthews: Not a chance in hell. Christa Adina: And her opponent… The arena lights fall as the opening The Offspring's "Come Out & Play" surround the arena. Strobe lights of red and violet cover the ring as smoke begins to surround the entrance way. Scarlett comes walking through the entrance curtain with her arms stretched. She pauses for a moment, bathing herself in haze of red and violet. Just a short moment later, Penny Shannon comes through and stands behind Scarlett. Blinks of white light sprinkle around the arena as Scarlett makes the walk down to the ring. Grabbing the bottom rope, Scarlett slingshots herself into the ring, swooping right between the bottom and middle rope. Scarlett rises to her feet and extends her arms as the lights fade back. Christa Adina: Being accompanied by Penny Shannon, from Montreal, AZ, standing 5’4 and weighing in at 120lbs… Scarlett… Quinn! Samael Ahriman: Two lovely ladies in one match, don’t you just love equal opportunities in the WFWF? Alecia Matthews: You’re a pig. The bell rings and both girls come together in a tie-up, each of them jocking for position until Valorie Evans locks on a side headlock, cracking the hold as Scarlett starts sending forearms against Valorie's mid-section, trying to shake her loose. But even then, Valorie Evans still won't budge. Quickly, Scarlett grabs a handful of Evan's hair and with that Valorie Evans shoots herself across the ring with a bulldog, sending Scarlett down as she covers her.
1... Scarlett kicks out. Valorie Evans grabs Scarlett's head and brings her back to a vertical position, but Scarlett pushes her off and follows up with a flying clothesline, but Valorie Evans ducks it, and strikes Scarlett against the jaw with a forearm smash. Scarlett stumbles towards the ropes as Valorie Evans bounces off the ropes and charges into Scarlett. But Scarlett Quinn sidesteps, causing Evans to take the brunt of the ropes- Quickly, Scarlett hooks Valorie Evans' legs and plants her with a school girl.Alecia Matthews: A very even match thus far as these two young stars battle it out… oh and a school girl from Scarlett, this could be it. Samael Ahriman: Well all love a good school girl. 1... 2... Valorie Evans pushes Scarlett off; since both girls are clothes the ropes, the force of Valorie Evan's push sends Scarlett flying to the outside. Penny Shannon walks over to check on Scarlett as Valorie Evans takes air with a diving crossbody; thinking quickly, Penny grabs Scarlett's arm and drags her away to safety as Valorie hits the ground hard. The referee starts the ten count as Scarlett makes it to her feet and begins stomping all over Valorie's back. Grabbing a handful of tights, Scarlett shoves Valorie into the ring and follows after her with another cover.
1... 2... Valorie Evans kicks out. Scarlett mounts her and begins pouring stiff shots across her face. The referee pushes Scarlett away from Evans, which infuriates Scarlett that she shoves herself past the referee to resume her onslaught of punches, but from out of nowhere, Evans trips her down with a drop toe hold and as Scarlett tries to bring herself up, Evans kicks her with multiple soccer kicks across the back. Quickly, Scarlett takes shelter over by the corner, but this only sets her up for a Valorie Evan's Shake It Like A Milkshaker. Valorie takes air, but Scarlett jumps forward and plants a stiff dropkick across her back. Valorie Evans withers in pain and instead of capitalizing with a pin, Scarlett stalks her; using every possible twitch and motion to stand to strike Valorie with stiff shootkicks. Scarlett grabs Valorie by the hair for the vertical base, but Valorie Evans fires back with a bridging northern lights suplex.Alecia Matthews: Some fantastic wrestling from both women so far, are you ready to admit that they’re just as good as the men? Samael Ahriman: *drools* 1... 2... Scarlett kicks out and we've got a stalemate. Both girls lie on opposite ends in the center of the ring completely exhausted. Penny Shannon on the outside, slapping her hands on the mat as she shouts encouraging things to Scarlett. The referee begins the ten count as both girls start crawling towards each other, using each other for leverge as they rise to their feet. Scarlett and Valorie waste no time as they begin exchanging forearms and elbow strikes. Scarlett sends Valorie to the ropes with an irish whip, Valorie bounces back with the Oldthingshedoes, the standing headscissors fujiwara armbar, but Scarlett Quinn manages to roll away. Valorie Evans snaps back with a clothesline, but Scarlett Quinn ducks it and kicks her in the face with the Drive-By Kick. Valorie Evans is barely standing on both feet now as Scarlett hits the reverse backbreaker ddt, trapping Valorie into the McGurk Lock. The referee checks on Valorie's condition as Scarlett mercilessly pummels elbow shots across her ribs. With no other way out, Valorie Evans taps out!
The referee calls for the bell as he pries Scarlett away Valorie Evans.Christa Adina: And your winner… Scarlett Quinn! With Valorie slumped across the canvass, the referee raises Scarlett Quinn's hand in victory as "Come Out To Play" hits the speakers. Scarlett looks down at Valorie Evans as she motions to the ropes and slides outside. Penny Shannon wraps her arms around Scarlett and as the two begin the walk back up the entrance stage, Penny takes Scarlett's arm and raises it in victory.Alecia Matthews: A huge victory for Scarlett Quinn and for the second time in her short WFWF career, she books herself in a number one contenders match to the World Championship. Samael Ahriman: Poor Valorie, I should go and see if she’s okay. Alecia Matthews: She’ll be fine as long as she doesn’t have to see your face. Alecia Matthews: Well we’ve already seen Scarlett Quinn, Cam Nitta and Devilkiller book their spots in next weeks battle royal, but with another four qualifying matches to go the field is still wide open. Samael Ahriman: Well up next we’ve got two more young stars, both of whom have something to prove right here as Tommy Staxx battles Cameron Stone. The match between Tommy Staxx and Cameron Stone actually started before either man made it to the ring. During his entrance Staxx was attacked from behind by Stone who was still wearing that replica National Championship around his waist. Stone beat on Staxx down the ramp, throwing him into the steel steps and then bringing the match into the ring where the official had little choice but to call for the bell. From there you’d expect Stone to simply dominate, but Staxx actually fought back now that he had a chance to do so, proving that even when hurt he can brawl with the best of them. Despite this the pre-match assault seemed to be too much for him to overcome as he took a vicious big boot to the back of the head, followed by the Set in Stone to give Cameron Stone the victory.Christa Adina: And you’re winner, Cameron Stone! Cameron Stone gets to his feet after a very impressive, if not a little underhanded victory. As he stands tall in the ring his eyes are drawn to the top of the stage where none other than Justin Tyme is watching on, his arms crossed. Stone sees him and starts shouting for him to come down to the ring, the animosity between the two of these clearly having not diminished during Justin Tyme’s absence. Of course Tyme isn’t stupid, he eyes Stone up and then walks backstage again, leaving Stone furious at being rejected for a fight.Alecia Matthews: Well we all know the history between Cameron Stone and Justin Tyme, I’m guessing things aren’t over between those two. Samael Ahriman: What gave you that idea? The intense staredown or Stone’s demand for a fight? Alecia Matthews: You’re not funny Samael, plus you’ve got a stupid name. Shut up. And to the backstage area we go where we find WFWF Interviewer Daniel Knight looking all dash and dapper.Daniel Knight: I'm joined at this time with Scarlett Quinn. Coming off your victory aga- Scarlett strolls on screen with Penny Shannon.Scarlett Quinn: I'm not saying anything until you do it again. Daniel Knight: Excuse me? Scarlett Quinn: I want you to introduce me again and this time... Scarlett leans close and whispers into Daniel Knight's ear, who's nods and gestures should mean that he's following along with whatever it is she's telling him.Daniel Knight: Fine, let's do it again. Scarlett Quinn: Atta boy! Scarlett pats Daniel on the shoulder as he looks at the camera again.Daniel Knight: ... I'm joined at this time with the self-proclaimed Princess of Wrestling, Scarlet Quinn Scarlett Quinn: You see, that's more like it. Scarlett turns to the camera with a far different demeanor.Scarlett Quinn: Last week, I'm sure there were people out there who thought they had seen the last of me, but look, I'm still here. I just beat a former National Champion, a girl who has years of in-ring experience over me. For the last week, I've been trying very hard to make sense of what happened and what I wanted to do, when it was just so obvious that the first thing I wanted was for that to never happen to me, and right after that, something popped in my head. ... Maybe I had it coming to me. Sure what Philip Schneider did to me was unacceptable and one day, I will cash my receipt, but if there's anything I can really take away from it, is this. I was stupid and reckless and unprepared for what I was getting into and I paid the price. Yeah, too bad for me. But I'm done. I'm done feeling sorry for myself, I'm done waiting for things to be handed to me. It's about time I started wrestling with a focus and a temper, because it's inside me and it's building up with each new day. You're looking at the real Scarlett Quinn. The b*tch Wayne McGurk never had the balls to be. I'm the Princess of Wrestling and it's about time I started proving it! With that, Scarlett Quinn storms off-screen, leaving Penny Shannon alone with Daniel Knight.Penny Shannon: ... Daniel Knight, huh? Daniel Knight: Yes? Penny Shannon: Nothing. I'm just trying to figure out if you're really as douchey as you come across. In the distance, we hear Scarlett Quinn calling out towards Penny. Giving Daniel pinch on the cheek, Penny walks off-screen waving at the camera.Penny Shannon: ... Later! Alecia Matthews: Welcome back ladies and gentleman, up next we have a match with some high stakes. Not only will a spot in next week’s number one contender battle royal on the line, but also the WFWF National Championship. Samael Ahriman: Joe Bishop has proved himself as a competent champion thus far, but with Reckless looming in the background you have to wonder if tonight is the end of his reign. Joe Bishop faced a big challenge right here in Denver as he put the WFWF National Championship on the line against Leo Krause. While Bishop is used to fighting against the odds being the National Champion he was practically facing a monster right here, the maniacal Krause really taking the fight to him from the moment the bell rang. Bishop attempted to take Krause out of his element by working a technical game and while it worked in parts it just seemed like every time he was building up some momentum Krause would stop it dead with one of his many high impact, high reward moves. As the match went on it looked more and more likely that we would be seeing a new National Champion crowned but Bishop surprised everyone when he came out of nowhere with a body slam that turned the tide of the match. Bishop’s offense from there on out was just merciless, really beating on Krause and proving that he has no problems hurting someone to get the job done. In the end Bishop caught Krause with a sick high angle suplex before going up high and connecting with the Decido Spiritus to take the victory and retain the title.Christa Adina: And your winner, and still WFWF National Champion, Joe Bishop! Bishop rolls out of the ring and heads towards the announcers table, after snatching his National Championship, Bishop picks up a microphone and heads back into the ring, he perches himself up on the top rope taking a moment to prepare himself.Joe Bishop: Last week, I once again fell victim to a heinous attack from Reckless, a man who recently decided he had something of a problem with me. He finally explained why he’s been going out of his way to make life as difficult as possible for me. You see Reckless claims that he’s been doing so, because I need to show ‘more respect’. But personally I don’t think he’s been attacking me for that reason, in fact I know he hasn’t, I’ve made it clear that I have the upmost respect for the real talented guys that made the WFWF what it is today. No I think that he’s been attacking me, because he wants a shot at my tile, and unlike... Joe Bishop motions towards Leo Krause who is rolling out of the ring.Joe Bishop: Leo Krause, Reckless is a man who can’t earn a shot himself. So he’s been getting in my way, messing with me for weeks, so that when he finally challenged me to a match for MY National Championship, I’d say yes. Well last week Reckless made that challenge, he wants a shot at my belt, assuming I can hold onto it, at Showdown. You know what Reckless, if it’ll shut you up, I’d be happy to defend my title against you live on Pay-Per-View. You don’t care what type of match it is? You don’t care if it’s a singles match, a TLC match, a Last Man Standing match? You just want a chance to teach me to show some respect? Bishop smirks, waving goodbye to Leo Krause as, back turned, he makes his way backstage.Joe Bishop: Well Reckless I don’t want you to have any excuses after I defeat you. I don’t want you coming back for another shot, I want to prove that I can beat you time after time; I don’t want to bother putting my belt on the line against you again. So I’ll happily defend the title against you, live on pay-per-view, in any one of those matches, heck I’d defend it against you in all three. Just so long as when I beat you, when you blow yet another chance to become a WFWF Champion, you’ve got no excuse. Bishop gets down from the turnbuckle as Reckless comes out microphone in hand, he takes a second to sarcastically applaud as Bishop contemplates legging it through the crowd.Reckless: Congratulations Joseph, you just signed your career away. Reckless grins as he heads to the back, Bishop cautiously following behind.Alecia Matthews: Well a very big match potentially signed right there, but up night we’ve got another very big match. Samael Ahriman: Nice link. Alecia Matthews: Wouldn’t have needed it if there was more to the show. ZMaster and Ripp Jackson wasn’t really all that close. ZMaster didn’t really lose a lot of rust…and Jackson didn’t really put up much of a fight. Let’s be honest here. ZM could have taken out his dick and smacked Jackson with it and he couldn’t have done much about it. ZMaster looked determined as ever to come in and show that he was still the best wrestler that the WFWF had ever seen, and his demolition of Ripp Jackson proved that he may still be just that. Jackson started out with a couple of decent swings, but ZM took over and never looked back, ultimately downing the poor Irishman and locking him into the Triangle Choke for the tap.Christa Adina: Here is your winner, ZMaster. Samael Ahriman: To quote you from the earlier match…yikes. Alecia Matthews: Was that ZMaster being good, or Jackson sh*tting the bed something fierce? Samael Ahriman: Both, but definitely moreso the latter. Yikes. “Slip Out” by Beck resonates throughout the arena as from behind the curtain arrives Shawn Malakai, steel chair in hand.Alecia Matthews: Oh sh*t. Samael Ahriman: ZMaster. Shawn Malakai. Round three. Someone batten down the hatches, this sh*t’s gonna rock the boat something fierce. What’s got him so enraged though? Malakai pulls himself up into the ring. Jackson pulls himself up and shoves ZMaster back, trying to calm Malakai down. Malakai lowers the chair and Jackson backs away as ZMaster gets to moving forward, the two men staring down. Malakai smiles, shoving ZMaster and cracking Jackson with the steel chair.Samael Ahriman: …the f*ck? Malakai bombards Jackson with chair shot after chair shot, clubbing the poor bloke like no ones business. ZMaster rips the chair away from Malakai and shoves him, standing over Jackson so Malakai can’t get any closer.Samael Ahriman: Jackson just saved Malakai last week from The New Epoch. What the hell did we just see? Jeez. There’s a commercial. I’m sure we’ll be back in a minute.

Told you we’d be back.
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, already standing in the ring, weighing a combined 339lbs… the Black Dahlia Tabitha Owens and the Child of the Atom Braden Munroe!
The crowd erupt with cheers as Munroe and Owens are introduced. The pair, already standing in the ring in their signature comic inspired attires, play up to the crowd with Braden Munroe doing most of the firing up, really working the whole superhero gimmick much to the crowd’s delight.
Alecia Matthews: Wait, they’re already in the ring, couldn’t we spring at least for a joint entrance for them?
Samael Ahriman: We probably could have if they’d have given us an entrance to work with.
Christa Adina: And their opponents, introducing first…
White flashes goes along to "LOVE....YOUR HATE....YOUR.... FAITH LOST....YOU....ARE NOW....ONE....OF US" from Miseria Cantare for about 30 seconds in the darkened arena. Fireworks blast across the stage left and ring as the lights come back on as The Days of the Phoenix starts playing and Yukio comes out to a roaring crowd. He looks to the crowd and nods his head he then walks down the ramp slapping hands in the process. Yukio gets to the ring after greeting his fans and walks up the stairs. He grabs a hold of the ropes and hops up into the ring, but lands on the middle turnbuckle rather than the mat. He points to the crowd and moves his hand all across the arena. Yukio hops back down takes off his t-shirt, throws it into the crowd and stands in the corner, staring down Munroe and Owens while reluctantly waiting for his tag team partner.
Christa Adina: Hailing from Flint, Michigan, weighing in at 230lbs and standing 6’0, he is Your Random Hero… Yukio… Blaze!
Alecia Matthews: Well Blaze seems ready for this match, but he certainly can’t be happy with who he has to team up with.
Samael Ahriman: Are you kidding me? He’d rather be fighting his partner than Munroe and Owens after what happened last week, and with so much on the line as well this one is going to be volatile.
Christa Adina: And his partner…
As the opening chords of “Seizure of Power” hits the speakers the lights across the arena shut off one by one. They are replaced by six crimson spotlights, each one turning on a different part of the arena in sequence. One by one each of the spotlights move to the tip of the stage, combining and showing the first glimpse of the WFWF International Champion Trace Demon, down on one knee with his back to the crowd and a hoodie over his head. As the song builds to a fever pitch he suddenly rises, spins around and in one simultaneous motion pulls his hood down and throws his other hand up like a gun, mouthing “Boom” as pyrotechnics go off all around him. As the pyrotechnics come to a stop the lights in the arena turn on, showing a full look at Trace Demon.
Christa Adina: Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, standing 6’3 and weighing in at 230lbs, he is the WFWF International Champion… the King of Demons… Trace… Demon!
Alecia Matthews: Well last week Trace Demon took the heinous step of showing a sex tape featuring himself and Yukio Blaze’s wife which even for him seems a bit low.
Samael Ahriman: Trace Demon’s always been a dick, everybody knows that.
Trace stands on the ramp and takes a look around at the crowd, completely unfazed by the reaction he is getting. He seems to be in his own little world as he makes his way down the ramp, completely ignoring the fans on either side of him as they attempt to touch the King of Demons, instead focused solely on the ring and the whatever goal he has in mind for tonight. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he removes his hoody and the International Championship and hands them over to the stagehand before settling himself just outside the ring. This would usually be where he makes his grand leap to the ring but today he doesn’t seem interested, just staring at Yukio Blaze who stares back at him. Trace shakes his head, telling Yukio to get started with this match. On the other side of the ring Tabitha Owens steps out through the ropes onto the apron. While the official looks a little confused at Trace’s refusal to step up he rings the bell anyway as Yukio Blaze and Braden Munroe are all set to kick this match off.
DING! DING! DING!
Alecia Matthews: Well this match is officially underway I guess, but even before the bell rang we saw Trace’s reluctance to be out here.
Samael Ahriman: He knows that Yukio wants to beat him bloody after what he did last week. The only reason Yukio is even wrestling this match is because he wants to be in that battle royal next week.
Alecia Matthews: Well as you just brought up the winning team in this match will be advancing towards that number one contenders battle royal that already includes the likes of National Champion Joe Bishop, Trace’s own student Scarlett Quinn and WFWF legend ZMaster.
Samael Ahriman: And we’re about to find out the final competitors, this should be intense.
With Yukio Blaze and Braden Munroe all set to kick off this match the official calls for the bell. As soon as it rings they begin eyeing each other up as they circle the ring, clearly knowing exactly how dangerous the other man is. They close the gap between them, both men moving in at the same time and locking up with the collar and elbow tie up. The two men jockey for position, both wanting to take the early advantage in this high stakes tag team match. It’s Yukio’s superior strength that seems to make the different initially, using his weight and power to slowly push Braden back towards the corner. Blaze pushes Munroe up against the turnbuckle, the Child of the Atom being pinned between the turnbuckle and Blaze himself, but when the Random Hero breaks the tie up and goes for a forearm in the corner Munroe shows off his speed, effortlessly ducking underneath Blaze, positioning himself behind him and spinning him around, Munroe nailing Blaze with a right hand that sends him staggering into the corner. As all of this is going on Trace Demon slowly and cautiously walks up the steel ring steps to his corner.
Alecia Matthews: Well looks like Trace Demon will actually act like he’s in this match, just as Braden gets one up on Blaze early on.
Samael Ahriman: Braden Munroe might be a little bit unorthodox, some would even say he’s a massive ass geek, but the guy’s fast and he knows how to wrestle.
Yukio Blaze is caught a little off guard as Braden Munroe backs up just a little bit before delivering a boot right to the section. From there the Child of the Atom grabs Blaze by the arm and goes to deliver the Irish whip to the opposing corner only for Blaze to reverse, switching their positions and sending Munroe barrelling towards the turnbuckle. Yukio charges after him, possibly looking for some kind of splash in the corner, but as Braden reaches it he shows off his high flying skills once again, leaping up, planting a foot on the middle turnbuckle and then hopping onto the top turnbuckle before moonsaulting backwards, up and over the charging form of Yukio Blaze. Munroe lands elegantly on his feet as Yukio slams into the turnbuckle chest first, unable to stop his momentum. Your Random Hero staggers backwards, turning around right into a picture perfect dropkick that connects flush with the jaw, dropping Blaze down onto his back.
Alecia Matthews: And once again Braden Munroe catches Yukio Blaze out thanks to that fast pace and unpredictable offence.
Samael Ahriman: If you can’t catch a man, you certainly can’t beat him.
Braden Munroe seeks to keep up the attack on Yukio Blaze, hooking his hands around the head of Your Random Hero and slowly pulling him up onto his feet. He drags him over towards the centre of the ring while Trace Demon watches from the apron, completely disinterested, clearly he doesn’t want to be here and he doesn’t really care about this match. Braden pushes Blaze down into a front facelock, possibly looking for some kind of suplex, but before he can go for anything the Unknown Factor drives his fist up into the ribs of Braden. A second uppercut right into the abdomen breaks Munroe’s grip, freeing Blaze and allowing him to connect with a swift right hand straight to the jaw. The blow rocks the surprised Munroe as Yukio grabs him by the arm, this time connecting with the Irish whip, sending the Child of the Atom into the corner where Trace Demon stands. Blaze charges forwards, leaping up and nailing Braden in the corner with a clothesline, but at the same time Trace’s hand shoots out, slapping Yukio right across the face.
Alecia Matthews: What the hell was that, we’re minutes into this match and already Trace is going after Yukio.
Samael Ahriman: Well actually, I think that was a tag.
Indeed it was, the official signalling for the tag as Trace Demon steps into the ring, shouting at Yukio to exit. Blaze looks set to pounce on the King of Demons there and then but the official steps in, telling Blaze that he has to exit the ring right now. Yukio abides, having no choice but to watch as Trace Demon grabs Braden Munroe around the head and pulls him to his feet, dragging him to the centre of the ring. Trace drives his knee up into the mid-section of Munroe, forcing him to double over, and then, with his hands gripping the back of the head of the Child of the Atom, Trace proceeds to slam his knee straight against the temple. The impact of the blow sends Braden down onto one knee, Trace running the ropes, rebounding, and then using that momentum to add force behind a boot straight to the side of Munroe’s skull. Braden drops onto his back, the King of Demons dropping down on top of him and hooking the leg for the pinfall.
ONE!
Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon with some brutal knees to the skull of Braden Munroe, could this be it?
TWO!
Samael Ahriman: Finishing the match before one competitor has even got in the ring? Not likely.
KICK OUT!
Indeed Ahriman is indeed right, Munroe shooting his shoulder up and kicking out of the pinfall at the count of two. Demon doesn’t waste time on arguing with the referee, rather just grabbing Munroe and pulling him up onto his feet. He drags a groggy Braden over towards the turnbuckle and then pushes him down into a front facelock before hooking the arm. Trace goes for the suplex lift but then moves forward, using the suplex to lift Munroe up onto the top turnbuckle. Trace goes to climb up after him but as he reaches the top Braden hits him with a quick right hand, then a second before planting his foot firmly in the chest of Trace Demon and pushing him back, the King of Demons falling backwards and hitting the canvas hard. As Trace Demon tries to push the pain out of his mind and slowly push his way onto his feet while Munroe works to balances himself on the top turnbuckle. As Trace reaches his feet he turns just as Munroe comes flying from the top, flipping in mid-air and crashing down on top of Trace with Riding the Winds, hooking the leg on the landing for the cover.
ONE!
Alecia Matthews: Braden hits the Riding the Winds, he could pick up a big victory right here.
TWO!
Samael Ahriman: Can you imagine Trace try to spin this if he takes the pinfall? I’d bet he’d find some way to blame Xavier or Yukio.
KICK OUT!
No need to find any excuses just yet as Trace manages to break up the pinfall, pushing Braden off of him. The Child of the Atom quickly scrambles to get control, putting in the boots on a still downed King of Demons. When he’s sure that Trace isn’t going to fight back he hooks his arms around Trace’s head and drags him to the corner, promptly tagging in Tabitha Owens. Munroe performs a snapmare, sending Trace down onto his back while Tabitha springboards up and over the top rope, landing a ledrop across the throat of the International Champion. Braden exits the ring, using the opportunity to catch his breath while Tabitha goes to work on Trace Demon, hooking her arms around the head and pulling him up onto his feet. She drives her knee up into the abdomen and then pulls him down into a front facelock, hooking the arm and then in the blink of an eye lifting him up, over and back first onto the canvas with a snap suplex.
Alecia Matthews: Snap suplex from Tabitha Owens, proving that she can still go with the men here in the WFWF.
Samael Ahriman: If you say girl power then I’m leaving.
Alecia Matthews: That’s all it’s going to take?
Samael Ahriman: You’re so cruel to me.
Tabitha pushes herself up onto her feet, fired up from being back in a WFWF ring. She grabs Trace by the hair and pulls him up onto his feet, the King of Demons too groggy to fight back back at this point. She grabs Trace by the arm and proceeds to whip him into the corner. As Trace hits the turnbuckle back first Tabitha approaches, sizing Trace up and then firing off with a high, stiff looking kick right to the chest. Trace winces in pain but Tabitha doesn’t let up, firing off high kick after high kick to the chest of the King of Demons until his chest is red raw, at which point she grabs him by the arm and proceeds to whip him full force across the ring, his momentum sending him chest first into the turnbuckle. Trace staggers backwards as Owens charges past him, leaps up onto the middle rope, springboards across to the connecting top rope and then leaping backwards, turning and going for the Rana. However as she tries dropping back to take Trace down the King of Demons gets the grip he needs and turns the Rana into a powerbomb, sending the Black Dahlia crashing to the mat back first.
Samael Ahriman: A big powerbomb from Trace Demon there, where’s your girl power now Alecia?
Alecia Matthews: Dude, don’t be sexist.
Tabitha looks hurt from the powerbomb but Trace Demon looks to make that a hell of lot worse when he hooks her right leg, using his superior strength to force her over onto her back and lock in a single leg boston crab, leaning back to put pressure on the spine. Tabitha is instantly in pain as the International Champion looks to bend the spine back while at the same time putting pressure on the knee. From the apron both Yukio Blaze and Braden Munroe have taken notice, with Munroe stamping his foot on the apron and getting the entire crowd going along with it, trying to spur the Black Dahlia on, to spur her into fighting back and breaking free of this hold. Blaze on the other hand isn’t really doing anything, he’s not even sure if he wants to let Trace Demon get the winner.
Alecia Matthews: This crowd are in a riotous mood right here, they do not want to see Trace Demon win this one.
Samael Ahriman: Nobody wants to see Trace win, I don’t even think his own partner wants hom to win.
As Trace Demon continues to put pressure on both the spine and knee Tabitha Owens continues to fight against it. She’s trying hard, clawing at the mat and attempting to reach the ropes, not even noticing that she’s heading towards Yukio Blaze on the ring apron. She’s getting closer moment by moment despite the strength advantage of the King of Demons, as his focus on needing to keep the leg locked leaved him off balance just enough for her to make her way over. Moment by moment she gets nearer and nearer and then she’s there! Grabbing hold of the bottom rope and forcing the break. Of course this is Trace Demon we’re talking about, he has little interest in release the hold until he’s got no other choice, the official stepping in and beginning his five count. Before the official can even count two Yukio Blaze leans over and slaps his hand across the back of Trace’s head, which the official counts as a tag!
Alecia Matthews: Well we saw Trace’s unorthodox tag earlier on and I guess Yukio wanted to get in on the action.
Samael Ahriman: Trace doesn’t look too happy about it. This team might just implode right here.
Trace Demon releases the one legged Boston crab when he feels Yukio’s hand slapping across the back of his head, turning around with a look of fury at the Random Here as he steps into the ring, shouting at Trace to get out. The two look set to come to blows but the official steps in, telling the King of Demons to get out of the ring if he doesn’t want to get disqualified. He begrudgingly obliges, leaving Yukio to go after Tabitha. However the time arguing with Trace Demon has given Owens enough time to recover as the Black Dahlia sends her boot crashing into the knee of Yukio Blaze, sending him crashing down to one knee. Tabitha pulls herself up and begins limping across the ring trying to reach Braden knowing that her knee puts her at a disadvantage. She makes it so close when Yukio scrambles across, grabbing her leg and pulling it up, leaving her hopping. She’s having none of it however as the Black Dahlia leaps up and slams her free leg right into the side of Blaze’s head, sending him down to the mat and letting her leaps to the corner to make the tag!
Alecia Matthews: She makes the tag, and Braden Munroe is the freshest man out there.
Samael Ahriman: All he has to do is build up some momentum and he could take the victory right here.
Braden Munroe steps into the ring just as Yukio Blaze is pushing himself up onto his feet. The Child of the Atom hits him with a big clothesline that sends him down to the mat, but Yukio pushes himself up quickly just as Braden keeps running, rebounds off of the mat and leaps up, hooking his legs around the head of Blaze and twisting him around, sending him crashing to the mat with a hurricanrana. Braden tries to follow up immediately, hooking his arms around Blaze’s head and pulling him up onto his feet, dragging him to the centre of the ring and then lifting him up into a fireman’s carry position over his shoulders before flipping him around and bringing him head first down onto his knee. The impact sends Yukio back up onto his feet which lets Munroe run the ropes, rebound and then blasts Your Random Hero with the Yakuza Kick, dropping Blaze onto his back with the Braden Combo! Blaze is out of it and Munroe takes this chance to go for the pinfall!
ONE!
Alecia Matthews: Braden Munroe with that vicious Braden Combo, Yukio Blaze might just be knocked out.
TWO!
Samael Ahriman: Trace Demon isn’t even considering breaking this up.
TH… KICK OUT!
It comes close, the official’s hand rising up for the third time before Yukio manages to shoot a shoulder up, kicking out. On the canvas Trace Demon looks as surprised as anyone. Braden on the other hand just looks determined, grabbing Blaze and slowly lifting him up onto his feet, he holds him there for a minute before swivelling on the spot and looking to nail Blaze with the Super Spinning Cyclone Strike… only for Blaze to duck underneath! Munroe’s momentum carries him right around into the grips of Blaze who hooks his arm around the shoulder and neck of Braden, adds a clutch and then drops him with the Trail Blazer! Yukio Blaze hits the Trail Blazer. At this Trace Demon enters the ring, sprints across to the opposite side and drops low, nailing Tabitha with a dropkick to the worked over knee and sending her crashing to the outside, actually helping his team! Trace pushes himself up, turns and gets nailed by a superkick to the jaw courtesy of his own partner! The superkick sends Trace crashing through the ropes to the outside while Blaze skids across the ring to make the cover on Munroe.
ONE!
Alecia Matthews: Yukio Blaze just delivered the superkick to his own partner!
TWO!
Samael Ahriman: But he also might have just got the win for his team, does that even it out?
THREE!
DING! DING! DING!
Alecia Matthews: Yukio Blaze does it, Yukio Blaze picks up for the win for himself and Trace Demon.
Samael Ahriman: After getting some sweet revenge on Trace in the process.
Christa Adina: And your winners… Trace Demon and Yukio Blaze!
Yukio Blaze slowly rises off of Braden following that hard fought match while Trace Demon watches from outside, still holding his jaw from where Blaze sucker punched him. He slides back into the ring behind Blaze, a sinister look on his face, before grabbing his arm, spinning him around and delivering a boot to the gut. Blaze doubles over and Trace Demon double underhooks the arms and proceeds to lift Blaze up, flipping him over in mid-air and dropping him down back first onto the knees of the King of Demons with the Demonstration of Hell. The arena erupts in a chorus of boos as Trace Demon pushes himself up onto his feet having once again attacked Yukio from behind.
Alecia Matthews: And another despicable attack from behind by Trace Demon despite the fact that Yukio Blaze just won the match and booked their place in the battle royal.
Samael Ahriman: Sooner or later Yukio is going to get his hands on Trace Demon fair and square, you can only cheap shot someone so many times.
Xavier Pierce: Not so fast Trace.
Trace Demon rises onto his feet and looks to the ramp where Xavier Pierce now stands, microphone in hand, looking as cocky and business like as ever. Trace looks confused, not entirely sure what else Xavier can do to him after forcing him to tag with his nemesis.
Alecia Matthews: What’s the boss doing out here?
Samael Ahriman: I don’t know, but I can’t imagine it means anything good for the International Champion.
Xavier Pierce: I wouldn’t start celebrating just yet, you see when I made this contender tournament I said that the winner of each match would move onto next week’s battle royal. Do you hear that, winner, as in singular.
The expression on Trace Demon’s face tells us that he knows exactly what is going on here and he doesn’t look too happy about it.
Xavier Pierce: You see, only one person was ever going to advance to the number one contenders battle royal next week, and it was the man who got the pinfall. Which means next week Yukio Blaze will be involved in that battle royal and you Trace Demon… you won’t.
Trace begins throwing a fit in the ring, kicking the bottom rope and screaming that Xavier Pierce can’t do this to him. Xavier seems amused by the whole thing as he walks away, returning backstage and leaving Trace to his anger.
Alecia Matthews: What a bombshell by Xavier Pierce, despite winning his match tonight Trace Demon won’t be involved in that number one contenders battle royal next week.
Samael Ahriman: Do you think if Brandon Munroe and Tabitha Owens had won the match he’d have made the same announcement.
Alecia Matthews: Are you trying to say that this was a purposeful move by Xavier Pierce to keep Trace out of that battle royal?
Samael Ahriman: I’d never say that, I like my job too much, I might be implying it.
Trace is absolutely furious, walking across the ring, dropping down under the ropes and storming over to the timekeeper, snatching his WFWF International Championship out of his hands. He returns back to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and walking over to Yukio Blaze. He begins poking Blaze with his boot, screaming at him to get up. Slowly Blaze seems to stir and starts to try to push himself up onto his feet. As Trace watches Blaze slowly rise up he backs away to the corner, leaning against the turnbuckle and signalling for Yukio to hurry up. The Random Hero does indeed slowly rise up, groggily making it to his feet and turning towards Trace Demon, the King of Demons charging forwards and clocking Blaze right in the skull with the International Championship. The crowd boos loudly as Blaze slumps to the floor unconscious, Trace looking down at him with this disgusting, evil look on his face.
Alecia Matthews: And yet another sickening attack by Trace Demon, someone really needs to stop this man.
Samael Ahriman: But who? He hasn’t lost a match since April, that’s seven months since his last loss Alecia. That’s the longest streak going in the WFWF right now.
Alecia Matthews: Well I’m betting right now that Yukio Blaze would love to be the man to put an end to that streak.
Samael Ahriman: He’ll have to stop getting beaten on first.
Trace Demon stands tall over Yukio Blaze, holding up the WFWF International Championship as the crowd continue to boo loudly. Fade to commercial.
Samael Ahriman: Main event time.
Alecia Matthews: Yep.
Christa Adina: The following match is the main event of Revolution, scheduled for one fall, with television time remaining, and it IS No Disqualifications!
Samael Ahriman: Wait, what? No DQ? Who made that rule??
Alecia Matthews: Guess it makes sense, with Schneider and Mak’s first match ending in a disqualification.
The crowd cheers as Mak's music first blares. The lighting changes from the normal arena light to blue in rapid succession as Mak emerges from the curtain the moment the lyrics kick in. He gives a small grin as he makes his way down the aisle, and does his Superman Punch taunt while screaming "BOOM!" while laughing, giving as many high fives to the fans as he can. Once he reaches the end of the aisle he slides into the ring and at the camera does his sidewinder taunt. After that he goes to the middle rope and does the taunt again for his fans.
Alecia Matthews: This is a high stakes match. Should Mak Cross pick up the win here, he’ll surpass the battle royal and advance directly to the PPV main event, which will become a three way involving Schneider, Cross, and the winner of next week’s battle royal.
Samael Ahriman: But if Mak Cross loses.. He gets no opportunity at all. Everyone else in the roster got the opportunity to enter the mini-tournament tonight for the battle royal entry next week.. Cross doesn’t get that. It’s all or nothing for him.
Alecia Matthews: Nice segway. Hit Schneider’s music!
“It’s On” by Eazy E hits over the P/A system and Phillip Schneider makes his way through the curtain.
Samael Ahriman: New music again this week from Phillip Schneider.
Alecia Matthews: This has a back story. This match has a back story, in fact. Since the last show, these two men have engaged in a heated word of war via social media..
Samael Ahriman: Don’t you mean a war of words?
Alecia Matthews: That’s what I said. Anyways, these two have really been going at it, going as far as burning each other with various Youtube videos. This was one of the real knock out blows from Schneider, this song.
Samael Ahriman: Neat.
He makes a few steps down the ramp, before his entourage makes their way towards the ring. First, the young lady from last week, now wearing the somewhat loose fitting ring gear of Kylie Olsen, making her the third girl to wear the same pants and top on WFWF TV. Then, the massive man, carrying a McDonalds cup and sipping it regularly. Next, a hobo with one arm. He’s wearing a t-shirt that says in big white letters “I AM HUTTON BROWN”, the arm cuffed off above his stump. Schneider makes his way to the ring as his parade of human oddities circle around the ring, the young lady sliding into the ring behind Schneider. Mak Cross questions the entourage. The young lady spits at him. Mak tries to go after her, but is caught by the referee. Schneider deeply and passionately kisses the young lady, pulling gum from his own mouth and putting it in her’s as they part.
Alecia Matthews: Well that was pretty disgusting.
Samael Ahriman: Schneider’s band of misfits out here. Can you name them all?
Alecia Matthews: I only know how Schneider identified them and let me preface this by saying, this is how Phillip Schneider identified these people, and does not represent my personal opinions or the opinions of WFWF management. On the outside, the large man is “Joe the intellectually- disabled person”. The homeless looking man wandering around the ramp, with one armed, was identified to me as Hutton Brown. Now that’s clearly not accurate, despite what his t-shirt says.. I don’t know who this man really is, or why he has one arm.. The young lady in the ring, wearing the late Kylie Olsen’s gear.. The gear that was worn by Alexis Chavente.. Well.. She was identified as Kylie Olsen.
Samael Ahriman: Seems like a trend here, of people being misidentified.
Schneider sends his young lady on her way, unzipping his hoody and laying it down in the corner. Referee calls for the bell and this match is under way. Both men circle around the ring. Schneider calls for a test of strength. Mak reluctantly raises his hands and Schneider knees him in the gut.
Samael Ahriman: Should’ve trusted your instincts. Schneider can’t be trusted.
Schneider grabs Mak by the head and runs him to the ropes, dumping him to the outside between the top and middle ropes. Mak spills to the protective mats on the arena floor, where he is instantly jumped by the one armed man calling himself Hutton Brown. The one armed man stomps at Mak. Mak works his way to his feet. He’s going to take out the cripple, but from behind, Joe the intellectually- disabled person grabs Mak in a full nelson.
Alecia Matthews: I already don’t like that this match is no disqualifications, because what we’re looking at is essentially a four on one match. Even if the one guy is intellectually- disabled, the one guy has one arm, and the girl is maybe a hundred pounds, it’s still four on one.. And the odd man out is Schneider.
Samael Ahriman: They’re all odd men in that bunch.
”Hutton Brown” lines up for a clothesline, brandishing his one arm and preparing to run forwards. He does run forwards, but Mak drops down, sliding out of Joe the intellectually- disabled person’s arms and “Hutton Brown” simply clobbers the massive moron. Mak grabs the one armed man and slams him into the protective rails. And he’s about to take out the last of Schneider’s entourage, “Kylie” rounds the corner, staring Mak down.
Alecia Matthews: HIT HER!
Samael Ahriman: That’s not very feminist of you..
Alecia Matthews: You and I both know she’s going to drill Mak the first chance she gets. She may look like a little girl, but she’s evil!
Samael Ahriman: How do you know that?
Alecia Matthews: She’s hanging out with Schneider.
Samael Ahriman: Fair point.
Mak is staring “Kylie” down. She’s not backing down to him, despite her incredibly small stature. Because from behind, Phillip Schneider comes and nails Mak with a double forearm. Mak stumbles. Schneider grabs Mak by the head and slams him face first into the ring post. Schneider reaches under the ring skirt as Mak works his way back to his feet. “Kylie” is on the attack on Mak, raking his eyes. Mak’s blinded.. And stumbles right into a wrench to the forehead from Schneider!
Alecia Matthews: Wrench?!
Samael Ahriman: If you’d ever lift a hand around here, you’d know that wrench is used to tighten the ring ropes before the show, and should they come loose during the show, between matches. Phillip Schneider just jammed the blunt end of that wrench into Mak Cross’ forehead.
Mak is busted wide open, taking deep breaths and with every inhale, blood flows freely from his forehead. Schneider grabs ahold of Mak. Mak grabs Schneider by the belt and pulls him downwards, head first into the ringside rail. Mak takes a moment to regain his composure, but “Hutton Brown” is on top of him with stomps.
Alecia Matthews: You’d think a guy with one armed wouldn’t be picking so many fights..
Samael Ahriman: Again, when you have a four on one advantage, you become brave.. Look at The New Epoch..
During the ringside melee, Joe the intellectually- disabled person has occupied himself by pulling a table from underneath the ring and literally throwing it over the top rope and into the ring. Mak Cross gets to his feet. Cross backs up a little bit and nearly beheads the one armed man with a vicious lariat. Schneider has the wrench again. He goes after Mak. Mak catches him and throws him up and over with a belly to belly suplex on the floor. “Kylie” from behind jumps on Mak’s back, and he throws the young woman up and over to the floor.
Alecia Matthews: Mak Cross in charge!
Samael Ahriman: He’s going to have to keep them all down at once if he wants to really work at Schneider.
Mak grabs Schneider by the head and rolls him into the ring, where Joe the intellectually- disabled person has somehow managed to set the table up center ring all on his own. Mak pulls Schneider up. Schneider with a double leg takedown puts both men on the canvas with Schneider in the dominant position. Schneider drives his elbow into the face of Mak. Once, twice, three times. Schneider’s elbow, the elbow with the already blood stained “Rated X Superstar” elbow pad of Hutton Brown, is now blood spattered with the blood of Mak Cross.
Samael Ahriman: He’s working the cut. He’s trying to make that cut on Mak’s forehead worse.
Alecia Matthews: And he’s doing it with stolen property.
Mak is able to fight Schneider off. Schneider rushes forwards. Mak jumps and spears Schneider. Mak down for a pin attempt, 1.…2.… kick out at two from Schneider, and “Hutton Brown” is into the ring. He’s got light tubes in his hand! Mak gets to his feet. “Hutton” takes a swing with the light tubes. Duck from Mak. Mak bends and then comes up, super kicking the glass tubes back into the one armed man’s face! Glass and white powder fly everywhere in an explosion, “Hutton Brown” stumbling to the outside.
Alecia Matthews: I’m guessing that’s the last we see of him.
Mak climbs to the top rope, but in the melee with “Hutton”, Schneider recovers. He shakes the ring ropes so Mak falls, crotching himself on the top rope. Schneider fumbles in his hoody for a moment, coming up with an injection needle and a handful of skewers! The crowd scream, groan, and some cheer. Schneider puts the skewers into his mouth and climbs up top. He’s trying to stab Mak in the mouth with the needle. Mak comes to enough to stop Schneider’s hand. Mak slaps Schneider’s hand away and the needle goes flying to ringside, landing point down in the ringside protective mats.
Samael Ahriman: If Schneider’s going to bring needles into matches, he needs to keep them IN THE MATCH. That came WAY closer to the announce table than I’m comfortable with!
Schneider grabs the skewers from his mouth. He’s now trying to jab Mak with them. Mak’s fighting off. Mak catches the hand with one hand. Body blows to Schneider. “Kylie” to the ring apron and Mak kicks her off, sending her sailing to the arena floor in an awkward crash. Mak gets the skewers away from Schneider and in one swift motion, stabs the whole handful of skewers into Schneider’s scalp.
Samael Ahriman: THAT’S DISGUSTING!
Alecia Matthews: SCHNEIDER’S BEEN SKEWERED!
Mak steps around Schneider, grabbing him and Russian leg sweeping him from the ropes to the mat. Both men crash through the table set up in the center of the ring. Mak makes a cover on Schneider as he tries to pull the skewers out of his head. Count of one… two… and Joe the intellectually- disabled person breaks the count.
Samael Ahriman: Oh for f*cks sake. Get these idiots out of here! All of them!
Alecia Matthews: There’s only one left, but he may as well be three.
Samael Ahriman: With the IQ of about point three.
Mak gets to his feet. He’s going to lay the massive intellectually- disabled person out. Schneider with a broken half of the table smashes Mak in the back. Schneider points out of the ring, the big intellectually- disabled person doing as instructed. Schneider throws the broken half of table to the mat, pulling at the wood and getting a big chunk of broken table free from the rest of it. Mak slowly recovering. Schneider grabs him in a rear chin lock. Schneider jams the jagged broken table into the forehead of Mak. Once, twice, and again. The blood smears all over the broken table piece.
Samael Ahriman: When it comes time to renew contracts, I’m going to get a clause written into mine that I’m not calling Schneider matches. This is too much.
Alecia Matthews: Bring the Matts back!
Schneider throws the piece of table away. Mak’s forehead is now ripped wide open. Schneider with a cover. Count of one… two… kick out by Mak Cross. Schneider looks around the ring. He’s looking for something to bludgeon Mak Cross with. He settles on a table leg. Mak’s back to his feet and he spears Schneider. Mak pulls Schneider up. Schneider with a low blow on Mak Cross. Schneider stuffs Mak between his legs. He lifts him. Flip.. He’s going for the Beverly Kills 90210.. But Mak slides out. Schneider turns around and Mak spit’s a mouth full of blood right in Schneider’s face.
Alecia Matthews: RED MIST!
Samael Ahriman: That’s pretty rotten.
Both men are blinded by Mak Cross’ blood. Schneider takes a punch. Mak dodges and jabs Schneider. Schneider takes another swing. Another dodge and punch by Mak. Schneider wipes his eyes. Left slap, right slap, left slap, right slap, right slap, left slap, spinning back fist DUCK BY MAK! Mak with a rear waist lock. Standing switch from Schneider. Standing switch by Mak. Spin from Mak to Schneider. Boot to the gut. Double underhooks from Mak and a lift. Mak drives Schneider into the mat with a piledriver, then lifts Schneider, driving him down a second time before releasing.
Samael Ahriman: MAKED OUT!
Mak down for a cover. Joe the intellectually- disabled person tries to get into the ring but gets caught up in the ropes. Count of one.. Two… three!
Alecia Matthews: MAK CROSS JUST PINNED THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!
Mak sits up and spits a mist of blood in the air. “Alive and Awake” by Skillet hits over the P/A system. Mak gets to his feet and signals at his waist.
Samael Ahriman: He’s saying he’s the next champion.
Schneider rolls across the mat in pain. He’s able to grab one of the skewers he pulled out of his own head. He crawls a bit across the ring and stabs upwards. Right in the crotch.
Samael Ahriman: …….right in the penis.
Alecia Matthews: ………..Jesus Christ.
Schneider lays on the mat huffing in pain. He’s smiling. “Kylie” brings the championship into the ring. Mak is laying holding his crotch. “Kylie” mocks him, grabbing at her crotch and laughing. The rest of Schneider’s entourage swarm, pulling Schneider to a seated position and group hugging him.
Alecia Matthews: Those are some sick people. Sick sick people.. We need some medical attention for Mak Cross.
The show fades to black as Schneider’s group embrace with their leader center ring.

Big thanks to Schneider, Mike and Bishop for their segments and matches.
Obviously we were working with a very limited amount of segments and angles as a whole, but I'm proud of what we managed with what we were working with.

I like how you did my match, I thought it was pretty epic. Mak Criss and Phillip Schneider I'm coming for the world heavyweight championship.

I'm not so much disappointed that I lost, especially since I wrote the post-match angle into a Mak victory that jump-starts the PPV angle.. I'm disappointed by the fact that five people apparently read both of my roleplays, and Mak's, and the majority decision was that Mak's was the better. The only person who actually replied to 2/3s of the roleplays was Cam. No one replied to my second roleplay. And there was no real criticism which could be pointed to for a loss, or anything to grow on or improve on. It kind of shows that the voting committee is still incredibly faulty if people are voting on things they haven't read? or are voting against things without reason? If I read something I'm ALWAYS going to try to find something to improve on. The way I'm to understand, my second roleplay was just the worst thing ever, or wasn't counted at all for the match, since there's no replies to it..
Consider this sour grapes, but I can't say I agree with the decision, not because I lost, but because I have no idea how anyone came to this conclusion, since no one replied with any criticisms, beyond Cam saying things drag on for the sake of dragging on. You'll have that in chapter one of any story.. And trying to establish 3 new characters. With the massive delays between shows, the start over to the PPV timeline (meaning a 5 show storyline would now conclude not at the PPV, but on a throwaway show 2 off from the PPV), and my feud dropping, and my last several roleplays having few or no replies.. I basically wiped my stories clean and started fresh here. Hard to continue with angles if they are generally unliked, or the writing is somehow faulty, without knowing what's wrong.

I wouldn't really consider it sour grapes on your reasoning, I understand how frustrating it can be not to get any responses when you put that much effort it, I mean I've got the same situation myself.
Obviously I can't answer for the other judges, but personally it was the rawness that tipped the scale. It wasn't a situation of yours being bad, or hell even being average, it was just that out of them I 'felt' Mak's more, I got more from it. For what it's worth I'll try and get you a proper critique as soon as possible.

Indeed, you did start a new story, and that's hard to do. While you can do a lot with the guys, I voted based on who had the best roleplay this go-round. I left my opinions on the thread, and I thought the match was really close. As for the 2nd one, I did read it...but I honestly couldn't figure out how to reply to it. It left me scratching my head and I really couldn't make sense of it. I was going to respond after thinking about it, but I just kind of forgot. Sorry about that. In any case, you do have a point. Feedback is very important. I think that this is true of everyone. I feel your pain, too. I've had a few 0 replies to mine as well. So, yeah.

Just my short two cents: I understand Phil's frustration, but at the same time, my RP received less views than your second one (I compare those two because your first one was posted much earlier, as your second RP came a few hours after my only one), not to mention the only reply was from someone who I converse with practically daily, even if we're simply trading back various news excerpts. So you weren't the only person who was left in the dark in terms of feedback, which is why I'm certainly surprised/happy that the judges felt I was better this time.
Does that necessarily excuse myself from not posting anything with your second (which I did read, multiple times, in addition to your first one)? Of course not, but if wasn't obvious before, I'm not someone who feels he can critique [more] experienced roleplayers well, without seemingly trying to reach for something that isn't there, especially if I just end up having the same opinions as any other who posted before I did, whether it's one person or ten.

I basically wiped my stories clean and started fresh here. Hard to continue with angles if they are generally unliked, or the writing is somehow faulty, without knowing what's wrong. For what it's worth I really enjoyed both of your roleplays and was one of those chosen to judge your match, but I did not offer any criticism in response to either because I honestly don't think there's a single thing I could have offered either you or Mak other than an ego boost. As someone who is relativley inexperienced reading the roleplays of the best writers on her I rarely feel I can offer much of any benefit, certainly nothing jumped out to me. At the end of the day replying with 'I really enjoyed this' and little else isn't going to help anyone. Clearly as you say that is a problem with the voting comittee and personally I really don't see why it's neccesary, but I'm happy to judge if asked based on which RP I found to be the more enjoyable. If your concern is that either your match wasn't judged fairly or no one enjoyed your work I can assure you that wasn't the case. Let's face it, a lot of RP's get few replies nowadays, probably as a result of the large number of experienced guys who have just left. I still don't feel particularly confident about offering advice to people who are clearly way ahead of me, so it's no surprise that the people just signing up feel the same way.

Why did rhcw mention Carter? Im not planning in making appearances for a while. He was talking about Carter Contra. And in reference to Schneider, part of it is people are just, well, intimidated to reply to peoples RPs, especially those who are at the tops. I read all of the RPs, but it's known that if anyone wants to know what I thought of their RPs, they can ask me like I had to do when I was starting out. I'm never the first person to read the RPs, but because of that, I hate replying with the typical "yeah, I agree with that guy. Good/Bad job" replies. I always got peeved with those replies so I never make them myself. I can break down an RP better than just about anyone, ask Kyzer. But it gets to a point where I'm saying the same things every week and I doubt anyone wants to see me give the same reply because everyone's read it before me and I have nothing useful to add sans that. For the record, I voted for you Schneider. No disrespect to Mak, I just liked your pieces more. I thought it was close, but the quality in yours edged out Mak's RP and such. Haha.

I personally don't see the need for a voting committee, especially not a 5 person voting committee. There were a couple of matches on this show that 100% did not need 5 people voting on it. My opinion would be the two owners and then a third vote if a tiebreaker is needed.. then for "important" matches, be it title matches or "big matches", get the voting committee of 5 if really needed.
The people who were trumpeting for a voting committee aren't here now and the kinks in it are far more of a hindrance than a help. Not even talking about the voting itself, but how many times have the results as a whole been held up waiting for votes turned in?

Oh boo ing hoo, you lost a match in a barely surviving message board e-fed. You win 90% of the time. If it's only fun for you to win all of the time, off. Even if you legitimately think your piece was better, this isn't a case like you always get screwed and keep losing matches. Get over yourself.

To be fair, I think I easily posted better work than my opponents, but I don't wanna waste my time in a dead angle for the major title where I don't deserve the time. And now I can move on to other stuff.
And yeah, I'm drunk. Fight me.
