I was there too, and right after they announced it'd be a Last Man Standing match, I figured "Dolph's cashing in on a downed champion." Oh well, at least they did something bold.

Just thought of something. Bryan wins The Rumble. Ziggler gets the WHC on the RTWM. Bryan vs. Ziggler w. AJ at WM. Wouldn't that be something.

Drop 'em to the Scholars I guess. At his point Bryan is either going to be teaming with Kane or facing Kane at Wrestlemania and I don't really want either. |

Definitley surprised by this. I'm ok with it though, I like Del Rio and am interested to see how him as a face will work out.

I see Big Show winning the belt back at Royal Rumble and then he loses to Ryback at WrestleMania I think if they were going to do that, they wouldn't have given Del Rio the title at all. Why give a face like Del Rio the title if you're just going to give us Ryback vs Show, which could have happened without the title change. This to me says they took the title off Show in order to put the title on another heel. Ryback may still win the title or get a title match at Mania, which would be tragic for Ziggler imo, but I think this means they are ready to put the title on Ziggler. It makes sense to me. Del Rio is a guy that could win and lose the title and he wouldn't lose anything because he is a newly turned face. If anything, Del Rio losing to Ziggler could help put him over via sympathy. Seems like they went out of their way here to save face with both Sheamus and Big Show, and Del Rio seems like an easier target for Ziggler. |

Well I think Smackdown sounds good aside from anything with Great Khali and Hornswoggle in, and I like Del Rio so congrats on the Title win. I think he'll be losing it to Ziggler though... *waits for to WF's collective boner over Ziggler getting the gold*

2 title changes on pre taped shows? Wonder if they are trying to see if it spikes ratings.
Also wonder if later we will hear a reason/rumor for this change , like Show hurt.

So they take the monster champion, a guy who has beat Sheamus three PPVs in a row now, and have him drop the belt to Del Rio of all people? A guy who was stale as a heel, and is stale as a face. Sheamus doesn't get his revenge. The monster doesn't get defeated in some great way. Yes, this is probably to give Ziggler a face to beat, but seriously there are SO MANY better choices than Del Rio.
