Walmart will not pursue you if the item you steal is twenty dollars or less. It is more cost efficient to them to let you walk out of the door.
Another little tidbit I would like to add here that I learned is that walmart can order a figure for you and it can be directly shipped to the store! I only found this out after last month I was desperately hunting down a Nash. I asked a worker if they had any in the back. They did not, but she told me I could order it through the store. I went to the customer service area and order a Kevin Nash. Shipped to the walmart free of charge! I plan on doing this for all of the figures that I cannot seem to find and are absurd amounts on RSC. Hope this information helps my fellow collectors.
I look forward to posting pics soon and getting to know some people on these boards.

Unfortunately, w/ Wal-Mart security being what it is, you probably could. I only answered this question because of your later remark that it was just that. A question, not a statement of intent. BTW, Wal-Mart takes a very dim view of shop-lifting. A friend of mine found that out the hard way about 10 years ago. Just out of curiousty, what did they do to him? He is approaching the end of a 10 year suspended sentence. He had to pay restitution. He served 1 year of supervised probation & Wal-Mart banned him from their stores for life.

Do you go to Customer Service? I guarantee theres a few employees that will be reluctant to do so. Also, Welcome to the board bro!
