What happened to all the legends that were supposed to be there? Disappointed in no Austin, Taker, HHH and HBK. Cena made Ziggler look like a bitch in the cage match. Seriously, this super Cena bullcrap needs to stop, it's killing too many rising stars' momentum. I about died when The Rock called Heyman "twinkietits". That is now an insult I'm going to use. I can't believe that was actually said on a PG show. I also liked that Rock and Punk were in serious "I'm going to you up" mode. That was missing during the Rock/Cena fued.

The return of SuperCena is all leading up to him beating The Rock in their WrestleMania rematch and ONCE AGAIN making the WWE Championship unentertaining and stale.

I keep seeing "awful Raw" but I think it's just a case of people having unrealistic expectations. Nowhere did the WWE even hint that Austin, Taker or Michaels would be present, but the dirt sheets were reporting their appearances as fact, so everybody got their hopes up.
That isn't on the WWE, rather it's on the fake rumor mongers. In reality, it was a much better than average Raw. The Rock Concert was great and his tussle with Punk to close the show was very well done.
Cena vs. Ziggler was a great match even if the booking was poor. Barrett going over Orton clean was unexpected and fantastic. The Shield circling Foley was good. The Rock and Foley backstage was funny. The Miz/Flair/Cesaro segment was entertaining. The anger management was great as always.
There was plenty of good on this show and very little filler, but the vision of many is blinded by expectations that shouldn't have come to be in the first place.

Really strange that they even bothered with the 20th Anniversary thing. There was nothing out of the ordinary about tonight. Guess they shot all the big guns at Raw 1000 and had nothing left in their bag of tricks. Strange, considering Raw X was made out to be such a huge deal.
With that being said, a couple notes from tonight...
Loved the Rock/Punk scuffle. It wasn't much, but for once, they didn't make Punk look like a pathetic coward. He initiated the fight and kept coming at The Rock. Punk was different tonight. From the clean win over Clay, to the crowd pandering after his little promo, and finally the face to face attack on The Rock, it seems like WWE might finally actually be letting Punk just be the bad guy without being a total coward.
Enjoyed the cage match. Absolutely hated how, once again, Cena wins, overcomes the odds, and makes Ziggler look like garbage. Ziggler has absolutely no momentum at all. He can't win with Big E. He can't win with AJ. He can't win on his own. He just can't win, and it sucks.
I though the Diva's Title match was great. Good way to send Eve off.
Nothing else really worth noting, honestly.

Terrible RAW except for Cena vs. Ziggler and Rock's segment. You would've never known there was anything that was supposed to be special about this episode at all from watching it. Aside from a few video montages and the recycled RAW 1,000 intro this was just a regular episode of RAW. Highly disappointing that there was no Taker, Austin or HBK. I mean, for 's sake the show was in Texas!! Cena vs. Ziggler was a fantastic match aside from the fact that everybody knew there was no way in hell Ziggler was going over in this match. It's pretty clear from Cena's promo on the NYE RAW that they're setting him up to going back to pretty much being unbeatable from now until Wrestlemania. I have no doubt he's going to win the Rumble, unfortunately. This whole feud has done nothing but feed Ziggler to Cena and made him look weaker than before it started. The Rock Concert was brilliant, as always, and was the highlight of the show. The one liners were outstanding and I was dying laughing when he said, "FACT: Your manager has Twinkie tits" hahahaha. Just hilarious. Also loved the brawling at the end between him and Punk when things got serious.

Raw 1000 was great! Boy you are bitter. You were saying...? Now, shut up and get off my back. RAW sucked and was just a big set up for a Cena win and more middle school insults from The Rock. Okay, I will give it to you - you were right. I am man enough to admit I'm wrong, no need to be rude about it. I realize we have been let down many times before, but Raw 1000 got my hopes up that we could have another fun show. I can't stand seeing Super Cena. Yuck. The match was great, Dolph is great, AJ is fun, but the ending was real bad. Does Dolph ever win? I liked Ric Flair and thought the Rock was fun, but other than that it was a letdown. Will the Shield ever get to wrestle? And three hours of show continues to be one too many. 3 HRs of Raw, 2 of SD, 1 of Main Event, 1/2 HR of SMSlam, plus 2 HRs of TNA and all the cool stuff on WWE Classic? I have too much rasslin to watch when most of it is just flat and uninspired.

it was a good Raw, just disappointing when it started off promising with old intros and VINCE.

Isn't it sad that the only time i legit got excited was the attitude era portion of the intro? Just hearing the shows theme of that era had me excited as hell. That and the clips throughout the show really made me realize that the show today is just bland and boring and lacking in so many categories.
I've also come to the conclusion that the show just doesnt have enough star power to go 3 hours. I see so many throw away segments/matches in the 2nd hour that it makes me tune out every week.
I dont see myself watching anymore when super human Cena wins the title again and depushes everyone he faces again. Enough is enough. Its kinda sad that you instantly get that "career suicide" feeling whoever Cena feuds with and i can't think of 1 person in the last 8 years that looked good coming out of a feud with him. Its going to bite WWE in the ass someday.

Highly disappointing that there was no Taker, Austin or HBK. I mean, for 's sake the show was in Texas!! agree but HBK and AUSTIN are at some hunting award thing in VEGAS I think. Other than that I guess they are saving Undertaker for his WM feud.

Quick question does anyone know where is Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara? If already answered I apologize I didn't want to make a new thread, I figured I could get an answer in here. Also if he only appears in Smack Down I do apologize as I only watch Raw.

Also if he only appears in Smack Down I do apologize as I only watch Raw. Rey I believe has had some personal problems to attend to at home, and Sin Cara had knee surgery. Although I heard he was at a recent taping, able to actually compete, but they chose not to use him. Not sure if that's true or not.

RAW was horrible? I think you're all being uptight and need to lower your ing standards. I thought RAW was fine for an average RAW.

I usually never complain about Cena overcoming the odds or anything but Jesus Christ, tonight was 10X worse than last week. Big E had like 3 or 4 run ins, AJ even climbed the cage and Ziggler hit everything he had. I just dont understand it honestly, not that bad if Ziggler beats Cena due to extreme run ins. Hell Cena could lose clean to Ziggler and still be strong, he's John ing Cena.

I enjoyed Raw. I didn't expect any legends to show up, though. I enjoyed the Rock concert and the brawl afterwards. I enjoyed the MizTV segment with Flair. I thougt the Kane/Bryan/Shelby segment was pretty funny. The one thing that bothered me though, was Cena beating Dolph again. They are making Dolph/AJ/Langston look incredibly weak. All three get involved twice, and Cena beat them all twice! I don't even get angry anymore when Cena does this. I actually laugh at how much he can kick out of. I just wish they'd make Ziggler look good as well. Let Ziggler kick out of an Attitude Adjustment every now and again.

RAW was not that good at all tonight. They hyped it up like it was suppose to be some big show and it turned out to be a normal program. Where were the old school wrestlers that took apart on RAW through out the 20 years that were suppose to show up tonight? How many times are we going to keep seeing Ric Flair show up on RAW? How many times are we going to see Cena/Ziggler in a match on RAW? How many times are we going to see Sheamus vs 3MB? The Rock concert was not all that great compared to his last one he did on Cena. Nothing good about this RAW what so ever. Well there is one good thing that Mick Foley is getting inducted into the 2013 HOF. I really do hate it when the WWE hypes up a show and makes sound so good than they drop the ball and screw it all up.
