Not like I think it'll effect the outcome, but Frank Mir looked to be in phenomenal shape at the weigh-in.
The Diaz weigh-in was strange but from what I gathered, it looked like the scale wasn't stopping, and fluctuating between a couple numbers? I guess eventually it stopped at 156 though.

So glad I can watch these at home for free tomorrow. This week I've had the flu from hell & there's no way I'm leaving my house this weekend.

This is one of my favourite cards of the year. The top 3 fights I'm really pumped for, especially the main. I think Henderson, Cormier & Diaz take the fights but I could see the main going either way.

Just from the weigh-in, I am much more excited for Mir vs. Cormier now. Mir was in great shape.

Henderson - UD Cormier - TKO Thomson - UD Mein - UD
I'll probably get egg on my face, but I've never really been that high on Melendez... people talk about him as though he's the second coming of BJ Penn, but he's always seemed like a big fish in a small pond to me. I guess we'll see tonight. I can't see Cormier losing... even though Mir is much bigger and has the Octagon experience, Cormier should be too slick and fast and probably overwhelm him with strikes.

Lol, DC can dish out the threats but can't take them very well. I really want Mir to win this and I really think he can. But I'm not selling Cormier short one bit.

Cormier's last outing didn't impress me at all. Even though he won the fight, he didn't impress me. I just don't like how he thinks he's gonna beat Mir and then get a shot at Jones in the fall. Not too often I root for Mir, but tonight I will be cheering him on the whole way. DC needs his head popped and I hope Mir is the man to do it.
Should be a great night of FREE fights. I'm looking forward to all of them.

Insane flying knee by Romero.
I gotta go to a party in a bit, so I'll probably be too drunk to keep up, but I'll watch as much as I can and attempt to stay away from the internet and watch the replays on Fuel. But I'll make every attempt to watch it live.

Matt Brown TKO's Jordan Mein with punches and elbows
Josh Thomson TKO'S Nate Diaz with a right leg kick and punches.
Missed the prelims. The main fights tonight are pretty good so far.

Wait, I flip the channel right after the third round because I assumed Larkin has that fight sealed. Just read that he LOST that decision?

Wait, I flip the channel right after the third round because I assumed Larkin has that fight sealed. Just read that he LOST that decision? I disagreed strongly with the decision, too. As did Joe Rogan. Post fight replay, they showed the take down. He goes, "Well there's where one of those take-downs worked." I had it 48-47 Melendez. Incredibly close. JR had it 48-47 Gil, Ariel Helwani had it 48-47 Henderson, the 3 Sherdoggers were split, 2-1 Bendo. Super close, really fun fight. Great card. Frank fought stupid. Very frustrating as a fan of both guys.

Not sure where Frank goes from here. He had a good training camp over at Jackson's, and still he came up short.
Benson Vs Melendez was close as hell. I personally gave it to Benson.
What a debut for Thomson. I was beyond elated to see Nate stopped like that.

Benderson is like the exciting version of GSP with all these decisions.
