Nash contributed more than "wooh" to the business. To quote JR "With out the Horsemen there'd be no NWO" Also most of a generation wrestles because of Flair I don't buy that, the NWO was originally thought up by some Japanese guys with Bischoff and Nash tweaking it a bit. Flair had no input at all. In fact he lobbied to get the NWO angle canned.

Anvil fan, You know I think your a great poster but you're out of your god damn mind if you think Nash is on any level close to someone like Ric Flair or hell even Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Nash was always in the right place at the right time for most of his career and most of that time he was lucky. Flair and those like him did more to advance what wrestling became 1000 times more then Kevin Nash EVER did.

If he wasn't such a jerk in real life, I wouldn't care. Because he is, "quad" jokes are hilarious.

I do find the jokes to be a bit trivial at this point. However, you would be wise to remember that Kevin Nash is one of the most recognizable names in the modern era of wrestling, he's been a top star and held the World Title for the two biggest wrestling promotions in the world, had roles in mega smash-hit films like TMNT Secret of the Ooze, Grandma's Boy, and The Punisher, and has millions of dollars. If that doesn't bitch slap 99.9% of the IWC, I don't know what does... Did you see his new YouShoot? Hilarious response in regards to Meltzer's ratings of his matches... No I haven't. I'm definitely going to have to check that out as I'm sure it's hysterical.

I liked him in Punisher too, made him look Super one of the funnest big man fights in a movie.

When Triple H tore his quad the first time it was almost the exact way Nash did it. Except Triple H finished the match. He even took the Walls of Jericho with a torn quad.

Ric Flair is one of the great in ring technician, raise the bar for generation in so many ways and the Horsemen were the blueprint for every "group" in pro wrestling Nash was a not a great in ring worker , but has a lot of charisma and can work the mic. His role in the nWo was huge and historic.
My 2 cent - Nash is a legend , but Flair far exceeds him.

To me, Nash is a legend. Top champ in two major feds, involved in major and revolutionary storylines and stables. Yes, there's alot of wrestlecrap in his career, but he's an important wrestler.
With that in mind, there is a difference between being a legend and being one of the best of all time. Nash is not one of the best wrestlers of all time. He doesn't match Hogan or Austin as far as money making and does not match Flair, Bret, HBK or any of them as far as in-ring ability. I'll always dig Nash though.

i hear you def a great entertainer but he buries and has buried A LOT of people i dont know him personally but he says some harsh stuff and usually just puts over people who are more relevant/ successful than him
that said, he also has a rep for the opposite n helping younger guys so like i said, i'd have to know him personally but unfortunately that sort of heat he gets just comes with being a pro wrestler

Nash is one of my all time favorites but the jokes do make me laugh along with the jokes about his 5 moves of doom.

Nash deserves every joke.. And not just because he had a big role in 'Magic Mike'.

I agree he isn't close to Falir's level, but Nash helped to advance the wrestling world far more than Anderson and Tully did, and I'm a huge Arn mark. Nash's role in the KLIQ and nWo changed the wrestling world forever. Arn and Tully were apart of the Horsemen, but the Horsemen never drew in the fans that the nWo did.
Anywho to me Nash is one of the best big men in wrestling history. The guy was able to put on solid to great matches in his younger days as Diesel, and changed the wrestling world forever w/ the KLIQ and the nWo. Whether people like him or hate him, he deserves his due for helping to usher in the hottest period in wrestling history. Hell, even Bret Hart in his book gave Nash his due as one of the better big men he ever worked with.
I remember as a kid always loving the Diesel character and then Nash being one of my favorites during the Monday Night Wars.

Kevin Nash is a legend and one of the greatest of all time but I am sick of fans making sarcastic comments about him tearing his quad. Tearing a quad is extremely painful and it's not as if he does it all the time. No.
