Isn't Mark Martin working with Stewart-Haas in 2014 as a "driver coach" for Danica? I thought I heard someone say that.

Make it 27 of 32.
Cue the confetti, let's have a party! A Sprint Cup regular won a Nationwide race!!
.....that happens nearly every week? I'll just excuse myself then.

At this point, what's the point in even watching the Nationwide series? I said that about 4-5 years ago. Outside of the races at Daytona, I usually dont bother.

Since Scott Wimmer doesn't have a ride I don't really watch Nationwide. Since 1968 NASCAR has had a driver from my hometown from Wausau in the field at least once a year but that stopped in 2011. Really sad IMO.

Really sad IMO. I know Dave Marcus raced for like 200 years but who was the other cause Wimmer only ran a handful of races. Im sure there was a bit of time between when Marcus retired and Wimmer where there wasnt a driver around unless there's someone Im not remembering.

He's racing ASA right now and just raced in an ASA South Africa oval event last year. Marcis retired after the 2002 Daytona 500 and Scott Wimmer ran his first Winston Cup races late in the year, ran like 5 or 6 races in the 27/22 in 2003 and full time in the 22 in 2004.

Chris raced like 7 starts in Trucks from like 2004- 2007 and ran nowhere near as good as Scott. Don't know why I included him lol. Scott and Dave never ran a race together though. (I wish they would've lol. That would've been awesome.) Dave ran from 1968 to 2002 and Scott ran from 2002 to 2011.

Ugh Good Championship, 48. Onto next season, since I'm not watching Homestead. It was fun while it lasted. Jimmie isn't going to faulter next week and if he does I would be surprised. Oh well. I'm not upset, I'm just kind of let down that it wasn't a closer battle.

Travis Pastrana will not return to NASCAR next year. It's sad, if only getting rid of Danica were this easy.
