Anyone in the Knoxville area checked out the Knoxville Wrestling Store?
It looks like they have a TON of stuff there from current all the way back to the 80's. I intend on making a trip there very soon, will post pics as well as any pickups I make.

Also, anyone finding anything in the Gallatin/Hendersonville/Madison(Rivergate) area? I try to hit all 3 when I'm that way since they're so close together.

WalMart in Lafayette has Battle Pack 22. There's 1 Dolph/Vickie and 2 SinCara/Mysterio. I wasn't really into this set so I passed, but maybe someone on here is near and looking for them.

Thats cool. I'm hardly ever in that area, unless I'm on my way to the Smokies. But next time I head through there I may have to stop and check it out.

Yup I believe the Wrestling store is owned by Terry Landell. Ive yet to be there but will probably stop by eventually. Im not sure if they get their figures from Mattel or if they snatch them off the shelves. I know between him and some kid that sets up on Clinton (or Chapman Highway) TRU shelves have been pretty empty in the Knoxville area. Luckily I live just outside of the area so I can pick some of the meat off the bare bones.

We stopped at the TRU stores in the Knoxville area on our way back from the mountains last summer, and I remember there not being much to pick through then. The cool thing I remember is that one of the stores is still set up like the old stores. Also, I did the run through Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Rivergate/Madison areas yesterday. The WalMart in Rivergate had alot of basic 27, we had never got many of these in this area, so it was cool to finally see the first Ryback and Cesaro figures. Decided to pass on them as I'm not big on Ryback since the heel turn and wasn't happy with the paint apps on Cesaro's head. Toys R Us had basic 29 left overs, I saw Punk, Cena, and Show. Both Hendersonville and Gallatin WalMarts had all of basic 29 except for Eddie. Still haven't seen him anywhere. I picked up a couple of Warriors for customs but there's still some there. Big Lots in Hendersonville had Flex Force......why Big Lots? Why?!?!?!

Yup the TRU that has the old layout is the one beside the East Town Mall/Knoxville Center Mall/Ghetto Mall....however you wanna refer to it haha. The other one is the one I usually go to. There is/was a TRU Outlet store in Gatlinburg as well but not sure if its still there.

I love that that Toys R Us is still set up like the old ones. The WalMart in Rivergate/Madison is one of the smaller stores, the only one that I know around here thats like that. I enjoy going in there because it reminds me of how they used to look when I was a kid. Its similar to what ours looked like before they built the SuperCenter here to replace it, about 13 years ago.

Yea I dont know of any Walmart that's not a SuperCenter around here anymore. The ones in my town Alcoa/Maryville are both SuperCenters, Madisonville, Lenior City, Turkey Creek in Knox, Middlebrook in Knox and Madisonville are all SuperCenters.....I miss the good old days of going to small town Walmart, Kmart, Target, TRU and Sky Citys to find figures lol

I used to never stop at the Rivergate one, not sure why I started, probably was the crazy hunt for Diesel/Nash last year. But the Hendersonville WalMart used to be the old style, I always loved going there. Not only was it an old style WalMart, but it was built facing sideways from the main highway, which I remember when I was little I used think was soo funny for some reason. A few years ago we made a trip down there and pulled in the parking lot so I could check for figures at the 'sideways'WalMart, and it was empty. I found out later that they had built a new Super Center in the Indian Lake area not far away and closed the old one. (Well actually I think they built a SUPERDUPER Center, cause its one of the biggest WalMarts I've seen....from the outside, but inside it doesn't really look much bigger. )

Not much for selection and the shop was TINY! I was expecting something very cool but was disappointed. Prices were decent(about $16-18 for basics and $23-25 for elites) but nothing that you can't easily find at Wal Mart.

due to the great response this thread has gotten in a few days, I've made this the official Tennessee findings thread. So enjoy discussing your findings and helping other members find figures!

1907 Winfield Dunn Pkwy Sevierville, Tn
This is the address for some kid that has a "shop" at a strip mall/flea market. Ive never been there but have seen some pictures of his place on Facebook & Craigslist. He's got some decent stuff in stock but clearly sells as scalper prices. If you're looking for an Elite Kevin Nash, you might find it there but would probably have to pay double or triple the price....However Ive seen in his pics he has a lot of older figures dating back to BCA, Jakks, and even some LJN so might find a deal or two.

If anyone is still looking or has been on the fence about the Tribute to the Troops ring, Lebanon KMArt has a bunch for $3.99. Or they did this past Thursday, I just haven't had an opportunity to post it on here till now.

I just picked one up in Cookeville for $3.99 too. It was too cheap to pass up.

Glad to finally see a Tennessee Findings thread. I live in North Carolina right on the state line, so I generally spend a majority of my time (and money) in the Johnson City/Kingsport/Bristol area. Hopefully I can contribute to this thread from time to time. And on that note, anyone ever near the Bristol Raceway, the Tri-Cities Flea Market that's near there is a good place to hunt, as almost every visit I find something worthwhile, be it an old gem or a new one. Happy Hunting!
