Hulkamania - Nice job on those 15 pounds! Its amazing even as little as a pound or two difference it makes on the body! But 15 is awesome!
I used to do natural bodybuilding and spent a lot of time lifting and very little time doign cardio. In fact I HATED cardio with a passion. However I always made sure I could still run a few miles.
But as time flew by, I started signing up for a few 5K races and fell in love with them because I caught "a runner's high" during and after the race. I signed up for my first half marathon over a year ago and wanted more. Thus my motivation is simply bettering my times (per mile) with each and every race I run (comparing them to similar distances I've already done).
Last year I complete my 2nd half in just under two hours! My 5K per minute mile is down to 8:07 and I'm aiming to break into the 7 minute range this year. Ultimately I would like to run my first marathon in the next two or three years.
My life long running goal is to run a race in all 50 states with a larger goal of running a Half marathon in all 50 states, Canada, England, & France.

This might sound incredibly corny but The Rock and Charlie Sheen motivate me with their lifestlyes. The ideas of TeamBringIt and winning have helped through many difficult times

I'm the same way I hated cardio. It was such a struggle to do it but now I'm actually liking it. I feel better when I run. I'm no where near ur ability but I'm slowly getting better with each day of cardio. This might sound incredibly corny but The Rock and Charlie Sheen motivate me with their lifestlyes. His tweets and his message inspire me to work harder for what I want in life.
