Jim Ross was asked about the possibility of a three-way WWE Title match involving The Rock, John Cena and CM Punk at WrestleMania 29. Here is what Ross said…
Unlikely.
IMO it's best for WWE to headline WM29 with one-on-one personal issues. Just (my) take.
I believe this will be the case, they still want Cena to beat Rocky one on one at wrestlemania.

I'd be seriously, seriously disappointed if we got a rematch of last year's Mania main event.
We got great build up and a great match but that feud is done. I feel we've seen all there is to see between Rocky and Cena. Not to mention that if we got a straight up rematch, the outcome would be more obvious than Undertaker's last few Mania bouts.
We need at least Punk in the mix, but a Cena vs Rock vs Punk vs Lesnar FFW match is what I want to see.

Wow, Jim Ross finally gives an actual answer to a wrestling related question. I'm impressed. We usually get something like "Im not in that loop" "I can't pick just one" or some other runaround answer.
I'm glad the triple threat is not happening.

I pray he's just chasing people off the scent. I've had the "let's wait & see" mindset about this storyline & will be severely disappointed if we don't have a triple threat match.

Honestly if they go Rock and Cena only i am more excited to see next years match between them if it don't happen at Summerslam b/c i don't know who would go over that one yet, anyway.

I think it's very unlikely now, I think putting the title on Rock at RR cemented Rock/Cena II. If they waited until EC to give it to him I could've seen Punk slipping into the match but now I see little chance of that. The worst part is that if it happens to be Rock/Cena II then the outcome is probably the most obvious in WM history.

I'd rather just the rock vs cena.... I have no interest in either of them, but no doubt they'll be on last with a 30/45 min match (inc. entrances and video package) as a UK'er who'll be up until 4am watching 'Mania I'd be more than happy to "see" Cena vs Rock because I can go to bed earlier  |
