You know I don't about some of you on here but the one thing that I can't stand the most is a drunk rude alcoholic. From time to time I always get some drunk that hits me up for some change but the way ask for it throws me off. Either they are straight up rude or so demanding at times.
There are times I run into polite drunks and those are the one I may throw a buck to hear and there. Also these drunks at times lie about needing something to eat and they are starving this and that but when you give them a few bucks they are so quick to hit up a liquor store instead of getting some food.
So when I do decide to help these drunks out I take them to a pizza joint and buy them a slice so that way I know they ate it and not spend the money on any booze.
Has anyone had any run ins or similar situations such as myself??

Even at bars at times drunks try to stir up a conversation next thing you know it they are asking to buy them a drink or two. Now if some pretty randon chick was drunk and cool sure why not kick it with her and buy her a few. I always drink with people I know very well.

One of my mates is a drunk/alcho but hes a good genuine guy. Theres a lot of good drunks out there just as many bad. Im no do-gooder that tells ppl how to run their lives. We're here for a short while in life, do whatever you want. We all die in the end. Its all a joke really.

definetly some interesting threads you've stirred up thus far.
lots of my friends drink excessive amounts habitually. some function some don't. i have my view on it, but ir's not my business in the end. they don't rely on me for their habits.

I never understood what the difference was between drinking at home or at a bar/. might be a bit off topic but last summer me and my friend would get a 6 or 12 pack after work sit on the steps and drink at night. My sister always said she wasn't drinking because she had to be out. That never made sense to me since i never understood what the differnce was if i am spending th emoney and sitting in a bar talking to him or at the house talking. I just prefer to be safe and not have to drive once i have drank even a small amount.

I was around my parents and their friends who drank from the time I was 7 or 8 until I was 19. My mom never got goofy drunk but my dad and their friends sure did. It was awful. Hated being around them when they got like that which was every time they got together and it seemed to be every other weekend they were doing it.
I hate being around people who drink and won't go anywhere if I know there will be people who will be drunk off their ass.

if you mean the kinda drunk thats also homeless / a begger then I never give them money cause I know its eithr going on drugs or buying more booze and im not paying for them to fuel their addiction. though I will give them a cigarette, I've had one ask if he can have my trench coat, that I'd just done up with a few hundred spikes and buckles , and I was like uhhh I dont think it's your style really....

I only give money to the ones that have funny signs. They make it worth it.
