Awesome awesome! Going tomorrow to Crossroads TRU to get another Antonio and Wrestlemania heritage HBK. Picked up WM Herit Mark Henry and Macho Man...will be posting pics of new basic pickups soon.

Nompton TRU finally got the WWE shipper, chock full of B26/B27. Looks like we'll be staring at Brodus Clay and Big Show on the basic pegs for a long time. Finally bit on a Ryback (at $12.99, yeesh!), and bought the last Ricardo series Big Show (trying to help clear these damn things out of there). Also met a pretty cool fellow collector, was very cool chatting with you. Hopefully you will be posting from here on out... haha. Hope you got your Christian/Jericho. Hey HydroX! =D It was really cool chatting with you at the Norman TRU, yesterday. Took your advice and headed to the nearby Super Target, and oh yeah... THEY HAD THE CHRISTIAN FIGURE! =D Thank you so much for letting me know about that. Now I just need Chris Jericho. Thinking of going on a hunt across the Targets on Rockwell/NWExpwy, Yukon, and Midwest City, as I hit all the others yesterday. Super Target at Quail had Elite 20, but only Cody Rhodes. =( Oh, and just as an FYI, I hit up Walmart near Quail Springs. FINALLY snagged the R-Truth Superstars Entrances series to finish my set. =D They only had 2. Dunno if you're interested, but that's the only time I've seen that figure in-store. Just thought I'd let ya know. ^_^ I really need to clean my pad up 'cause I got peeps coming over for WrestleMania, and I got laundry to do, buuuut... this figure fixation tends to take priority. *  *! |

Also, KMart Shawnee still has the same fare, E17 and lots of assorted basics. So it looks like we're all just waiting for E21 and Basic 28.

Welcome to the board, triplehpotter. Glad to have another fellow Okie collector. Heck yeah, thank you! =D It's about time I signed up for this thing, anyway. I've been lurking on the boards for a LONG freakin' time. It took the conversation I had with HydroX this past Saturday to actually motivate me to sign up. XD I chose to lurk mostly 'cause I didn't wanna sign up on another social networking site due to a lot of personal reasons, buuuut... y'know... I can get persuaded to go in the other direction if there's a good reason. XD Besides... I guess it's good to network with other collectors, report findings, and other blah-blah like that. Shoot, me & HydroX related on how we tend to hit multiple Walmarts in the area at stupid late hours of 3am or so just to hunt for the rarities before other less-than-desireable people get their hands on 'em. XD But... it's cool. Glad to chat with awesome people, here. ^-^ Still no Elite 20 Jericho for me, btw. I called the Targets on Rockwell/NWExpy, Yukon, & Midwest City (which were the ones I didn't hit on Saturday) to see if they had him. No dice. Ugh. I want that darn figure to complete the set. >_< |

Yeah, I'm sure there are some scalpers who lurk here and use our info against us. But it's been worth it if you go back and re-read this thread, lol. Sucks about Jericho...last I saw on Friday Moorr Target MWC Target I think they still had Y2J...sometimes calling them doesn't work, employees are lazy. We usually try to plan on hitting the stores on truck days best we can. We'll try to find you a Jericho this week. Do you open your figs for display?

Do you open your figs for display? *nods* Sometimes they are lazy, although lately, Target has been really good throwing on a headset, walking to the floor to look, & telling me on the phone exactly what they're seeing. Amazing as that is, I still prefer to drive all over heck's half acre to find what I want. XD Oh yeah. The bulk of my figures I play with. Very rarely do I sell any of 'em. I haven't changed since I was a kid. As a matter of fact, on my PC desk, I have a ton of WWE figures standing around in display, though a line was cut between them, as they all are standing off to the side for The Undertaker to stare down C.M. Punk on the opposite end of the crowd, as the Second City Saint grins maniacally while holding the Deadman's urn high. Oh, and there's an ESR ring behind me with a battle royal going on in it. Seems like mid-carders are winning this one (David Otunga, Goldust, & The Genius are left). XD But yeah, lurking on the board for years has been kind to me. As Toys R Us stores, Targets, and Walmarts all over the country would report a new set coming in, I knew that'd just make Oklahoma getting it that much sooner. Very rarely do we get anything before anyone else. On the one time it did... it paid off EXTREMELY well. But that's another story for another day. =) |

lol nice. Your enthusiasm is great. I display the best versions of my Elites on my shelves (along with a few basics, current guys that don't have Elites, I.E. Prime Time Players, Otunga). In my ESR and TLC ring I have past/lesser versions of Elites and basics of Elites that I have, along with "Classic" Basics(such as the Macho Man they just came out with, HBK), that the kids and I play with. Then, I have other elites and legends that I don't have room for on shelves in storage. Do you have any for trade or anything like that? I need to do some trading with Hydro... Nice on your luck with calling the stores. Usually I'm lucky to get a "F off" from them.  You collect any other toy lines? I do NECA movie figures...so if anyone sees the new Alien series at TRU...holla playa! |

According to Target stock information, they are already getting very low on elites in the OKC area. Hopefully a restock of Elite 20 comes before they sit on empty pegs 'til Elite 21.

Gotta love what ya do, right? =D Man, I got so much stuff in storage, it's ridiculous. Boxes of figures & accessories behind the couch, in my room, in the outside closet... it's insane. X3 Unfortunately, I haven't got anything I really wanna trade. I'm more of a "here's some cash, I'll buy it" kind of person. XD Haha, I usually don't call the stores often. Target's been cool to call, lately. Toys R Us is SLIGHTLY helpful on the phone. Walmart... forget it. Plus since there's a plethora of them within spitting distance of each other, along with their 24 hour format, I don't mind hitting multiple ones up on a hunt when I get a tipoff they got some stuff. I really don't collect any other figures outside of WWE/TNA/UFC. I mean, I got some other video game, anime, and other figures around here... most of 'em are my bro's... but... wrestling's just my obsession. |

Thankfully eBay prices are dropping, but I'll only get it at retail .. using the 30% off coupon at TRU would be sweet, too. But in classic Oklahoma fashion, I'm sure we will get them a month after it hits everywhere else...

Just a heads up for y'all--I hit up Target on NW Expy & Rockwell, along with TRU at Crossroads.
Target just had 1 Elite 20 Cena. Literally nothing else. Missed Y2J again.
TRU still has no signs of Elite 20.
Ugh, this is frustrating. I wish the Walmarts would hurry up & get them so I can go on a cross-town hunt.
