Thanks. I once stashed a basic Stone Cold for one of my friend's at the Norman TRU and he found it a day later at Target (and cheaper, too lol). The one I stashed was hidden for a couple weeks before being found/sold. Probably an associate watching you on camera? There's so much theft at that south TRU store. My friend and I had a long conversation with a few of the employees there about all the theft that goes on there. They told us about a guy walking out the door with a 3DS last Christmas because "his wife was waiting in the car and wanted to see if it was the right one." He walked out with it, got in the car and they drove off. Seriously. WTF!? WOW! how did he get out of the store with it?? One of the guys working electronics said it was super busy (some time between Black Friday and Christmas) and a guy asked to see the back of the 3DS packaging, which is obviously allowed as long as the associate is standing in the vicinity. I guess they were undermanned in electronics so the guy gave him some BS excuse about his wife wanted it for the kids and he had to ask her about it, but she was in the car .. and he just walked out the door, got in the car, and left. LOL. The employees can't exactly chase them down due to safety/liability issues. There's so much stolen from that store it's insane. We were joking with them about certain items we'd walk by... "Captain Caveman? That looks neat... $29.99? Psh, more like free. Captain Caveman, looks like you're coming home with me...." |

Just left Quail TRU. They got the Basic Royal Rumble 2013 set. I got Ryback, Jericho, & Cesaro. They have 2 Rybacks, 1 Jericho, 1 Cesaro, 1 Orton, 1 Rock, & 1 Cena left.

Norman Walgreens stores have Royal Rumble 2013 sets as well, found them in shippers. I think they only have one case of each though.

Just out of wonderment, have ya seen Basic 33 with Ziggler, Tamina, & Ambrose anywhere? Royal Rumble 2013 is the only basic series I've seen, as well as the Hornswoggle/AJ series (sans Daniel Bryan). I keep checking Target for Kaitlyn, but leave disappointed. I don't collect basics or divas, but Kaitlyn is becoming a favorite of mine, and sadly I don't see many figures of her being made in the future. lol |

Kmart's website has some of Elite 24 still available for $8 per fig. Sign up for Shop Your Way MAX (free trial) for free shipping.
Search "WWE Elite Ryback" / "WWE Elite Ziggler" / "WWE Elite Mysterio" -- they are the only ones still available as of this posting.

Hit up Yukon Walmart with a friend and he got the blue globe Macho Man that was chilling there. I gave into temptation and picked up the Cesaro.
That damn Zack Ryder that someone switched out is still there, as well as those R-Truth's (although it looked like someone bought a Truth since I was last there, lol)

Finally got my BAF Heyman set + 2x TRU Triple H thanks to the promo TRU is running. I wasn't going to check, but while halfway home from work, I decided to turn around and look anyway...
Got 'em from Norman TRU. They have Lesnars and Punks a-plenty left over, I got the only Cena / Bryan that were on the pegs. They could have a D-Bry in the backroom, but I didn't ask since I already had my 1.
They also had BAF Booker T, but I have zero interest in that series.

NICE! =D I made it to the Norman TRU, today. Got my BAF Booker set & a free HHH. Gonna return it on my receip when I paid money for it when it first came out. XD Checked out the south TRU on my way down there. No Funkadactyls, no Shield, just PEGS FULL OF ROCK/CENA. And I snagged a Basic Tensai at Wamalart on I-40 & MacArthur. First time I've ever seen it. MAN, it looks WAY better than the Elite. Heck, someone switcherooed an Elite Tensai & stuffed a Basic in the package. Saw that behind an Elite Tensai that wasn't switched. XD 'sall I got for now. =) |

So what are you guys looking for these days?
I slowed way down. Too much money, too many scalpers out there buying everything up just to re-sell. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me, but I suppose being a "just buy one for yourself" kinda guy is passe'.
Regardless, I still buy when something catches my eye, a new character, or updated sculpt/attire. Don't have the money or space for the Pokemon technique anymore. I picked up the new Wade Barrett elite and the Shield 3 pack this weekend. What else is out there nowadays?

Best of PPV series at Toys R Us has some neat figures. I'm mostly obsessed with the Daniel Bryan lol. TRU has Buy One, Get One 40% off and you get a free HHH elite figure if your total is $30+. They were OOS last I checked the Norman TRU. I'm waiting on Shield elites and a select few others, but we shall see as the time nears.
I definitely slowed way down. I recently went on a spending spree but had second thoughts, especially after seeing my bank statement, haha. So I ended up selling quite a few. I still have a decent collection but it will likely dwindle as we get closer to Christmas.

Yeah bro! Everything on sale at Shawnee Kmart. I'll be checking it out again Saturday evening. They had nothing left as far as elites go, but they still had 2 or 3 Shield 3 packs. And until they get updated basics, that three pack is the best deal. Especially when it's on sale for $20. They did have an aisle display but one side was blocked by another display. They had a new Elite Macho Man...which after looking at it, meh.
Real crap selection for other basics, though. Looks like they might restock soon. But, yeah, everything is on sale. I'm probably not going to buy anything until after xmas presents are purchaaed for my kiddos...but let me know if you see anything! And I will give you an update on what's in Shawnee on Sat...
