Ok, but he isn't back. He's going in to the hall of fame; hence, there is already a thread for this. Go remember the date in there.

Part of the deal is he will be doing TV as well as commentary for Upcoming DVD's and specials. So you could stick that in your pipe and get out of my thread if you don't like it. Who the hell do you think you are anyway. lol. You should be thankful he is back as well as any wrestling fan should be as well. He built the WWE, without him there is no WWE and that is a fact. He was the one that kept the company from going Bankrupt when Vince Sr had the falling out with the NWA and left the board back in 63. If Bruno wasn't there selling out building after building the WWWF would have went belly up. He Kept it alive until Vince Sr returned to the NWA in 73 until 82.

I'm not disputing the impact Bruno had on pro wrestling, I agree with you you actually. However, where did you hear anything about TV appearances and commentaries?

HHH mentioned it as well as JR here in his blog. You could look it up but here is his Blog and talking about working with Bruno on future DVD's www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=22634&page_id=1

I kept wondering at work today who would induct Bruno into the HoF: Vince is probably out, so I think Trips is more than likely due to the dialogue the two of them have had. The thankfulness and tragedy is that Bruno has lived so long but he has also outlived most of the people who would have inducted him, as guys like Gorilla Monsoon, the Original Sheik, Gene Kiniski, and Haystacks have all gone to that battle royale in the sky.
I like the idea of Stan Hansen probably doing it, or even George "the Animal" Steele, as he seems to speak fondly of Bruno. If he was in better graces with the company, as well as better health, I could see Superstar Graham being there to induct Bruno. If Kurt Angle wasn't in TNA still, he'd be a good contender since Bruno provided commentary for Angle's DVD. Iron Sheik also apparently loves Bruno, so he's another name to throw in.

Is Larry Zbyszko on good terms with the company. He was one of Bruno's biggest feuds.

Then why bother replying? To state my opinion. Your opinion is like you. A cross between a mentally intellectually- disabled cockroach & the little white stuff that accumulates in the side of your mouth when you're really thirsty. If anyone actually studies Wrestling's roots & the psychology of catch as catch can, Bruno was the perfect Semi-Superheavyweight in the respect of being believable. He would've done just fine because he would have wrestled the title away from any man who held it JUST like he did to Buddy Rogers in the 60s. If you remember correctly, Rogers had no idea about the impromptu decision to have the WWWF Championship change hands. So Bruno actually pinned The Original Nature Boy without his consent. Making the first & only champion LEGITIMATELY win a world championship in wrestling since the retirement of the original world's title held by Goerge Hackenschmidt in 1905. To conclude, I shed tears watching the video package announcing him induction. It shows that our art form is still connected to it's effulgent & dynamic history. So I look forward to what may be the most emotionally charged introduction since Andre in 1993.

I miss Bruno on color commentary. Once he called, I think Randy Savage, a piece of slime, but he pronounced it "Schlime!". That still cracks me up. Also his altercation with Piper was priceless.

My first thought was George Steele, but maybe his son David will induct him.

There was a report that Bruno said they are trying to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to induct him since they are good friends.

I for one is super excited to see Bruno going into the Hall of Fame. If any single man ever deserved the Honor it is Bruno. When I was growing up in the early to mid 80's I use to sit and watch WWF programming with my Papa, who was a massive Bruno Sammartino fan dating back to Sammartino's days with Maple Leaf Wrestling in Toronto. Back then the "Living Legend" was the one guy I wanted to meet more then Hulk Hogan or Andre the Giant. I was also super pumped when I finally got to see Sammartino in action back at WrestleMania 2 in the battle royal.
I am also looking forward to the inevitable Bruno Sammartino DVD release that I am sure will have the greatest documentary the WWE has ever produced.
I would love to see Bruno return to commentary on the occasional Raw or Smackdown, plus just having Bruno show up from time to time to talk with the young talent in the WWE should only help the product get better from this point forward. If anyone knows what it takes to draw and emotionally connect with the fans it is the "Living Legend"

Super happy for this. Like a piece of the puzzle has been found. WWE didn't start with Hogan...

Just saw this on WZ. It's from an interview Bruno had on busted open radio:
For now, Sammartino seems content to allow Triple H and the WWE to decide who inducts him into the Hall of Fame this April, but listed friends and rivals such as Dominic Denucci, Ivan Koloff, Bill Watts and Larry Zbyszko as people he would like to see do the job. He also mentioned that in his talks with Triple H, he requested a physical Hall of Fame building be constructed, and noted that it is definitely "down the road" but "in the works".

Hopefully a Hall happens...I know Road Warrior Animal has said he'd donate a set of his pads to the building, and imagine if such storied items such as Andre's singlet next to Hogan's iconic yellow boots, or even belts from over the years.
