could mattel do a better job on a bruno sanmartino  would he sell ?? will he have a old wwwf belt ?? do you want to see it ?? and will we have a return of the hall of fame series?? |

I would like to see Mattel do something like a WWE Hall Of Fame Heritage set with all HOF'ers. Depending on who they selected and the attires chosen, I think it would sell through the roof. Sure, I'd PREFER red L.O.D. in Elite form, but getting them in Basic form would be awesome too!

To contribute tho yes mattel would do a killer job like always. They make jakks figures look like piles of crap usually. They actually already have all of the molds needed except for head scan.

I would love a proper mattel figure of each person to hold the WWE/WWF/WWWF championship. Including Antonio Inoki and Greg Valentine (who i just read had a phantom run with the belt that only lasted a day or two) - including Bruno.
I think mattel will do a great job if/when they get to Bruno, but that is one of Jakks' better Classics.

IDK, Im not really into to pre-Hogan era superstars. Call it what u want, but I just dont see those selling good. I mean they cancelled Legends, and those guys were old, but not ancient like Bruno. Sure he is one of the greatest of all-time, but they would have a hard time selling those to their "target" audience smh

I like to see another go at the legends line. But maybe just exclusive to a store or RSC like the HOF legends was exclusive to Kmart. That's if they don't think it will do well across the board.

As cool as it would be, I just don't see them thinking it would make them any money. Mattel still seems pretty gun-shy regarding Classic figures.

This is what Mattel needs to do. If they want the Legends sets to work they should release HOFers around now b/c they are fresh on TV and kids might say oh hey i saw him on tv i want it.

Not enough lead time. It'd have to be hitting retail right now. The hot period would be HOF announcement to about a month after Mania. After that point, all care in the world will vanish and fans will have moved onto something else. Could Mattel do better? Absolutely. Will they ever even try? Probably not. |

The body might be better but the scan will not be. Plus as much as I love Bruno I just don't see him selling well unless he is packaged 1 per case or 1 per case A and not case B.
