That sucks. I expected these mass-retail $12 toys to be intricate mini-robots that could put on a five star match by themselves. is there ANYTHING about Mattel's WWE line that you just don't like? Yup. The quality control issues... The new elite Santino being in blue again when he's had red/black and black/yellow outfits that haven't been made... The diva hands articulation...

I thought they looked OK for kids but what do i know, they aren't directed at me. I couldn't care less if they shelf warm or sell out TBH. Hopefully kids enjoy them.

They're pretty crappy looking and at $13 dollars a pop they won't sell well. My local Wal-mart is pretty much looking the same way everyone else is describing theirs. I'm not going to be the idiot who says that they should kill this line and put the money in the Elite line, but I do wish they'd stop throwing good money after bad. I personally wish those M.U.S.C.L.E. style figures had been made instead. I could almost see those selling well. Not sure, but it's gotta be better than this crap. No kidding. At a $13 price point I would have much rather had 3 3/4" Marvel Universe style figures or even 3 3/4" figures with limited articulation like their Dark Knight Rises figures at a $5 price point. Not only are these goofey looking, but they are pricey. If they are going to make "kid" items the least they can do is make a more affordable toy for parents. More shelf clogging garbage that I'm sure we'll hear "sells way better than Elites, Flashbacks" etc, etc. Even though it'll always be on clearance of stuffed on the shelves in the Elite spots. Guess what if the retailers are ordering these instead of Elites and Basics...then they will be considered better sellers like Flexforce. People here don't seem to understand Mattel bases THEIR sales (and the success of a line) on what the RETAILERS order the most of. If retailers order 50,000 units of these and only 20,000 of Elites or basics then THESE will be the top seller in Mattel's eyes. It doesn't matter to Mattel if the retailers don't sell a single one of these. The bottom line is they will still be considered the top seller because they are what Mattel sold the most of to the retailers. That is why FF was considered by Mattel their most successful WWE line. Right on brother. I just wish the clowns that do the orders knew something about which figures sell over others. I am guess that these must have a cheaper wholesale price for the retialers, probably like FF did. Yes, Mattel sees it as success but at the end of the day if all retailers look at are numbers then all toy companies wouldn't have to try as hard. It is stuff like this that makes me think that the collectors will be a dying breed in time.

I think we were kind of aware of this since stores stopped carrying flex force and started carrying these in their place... They're not only the new FF in terms of appeal but also literally. That's what I said in the first place. Read the entire comment before you pick it apart. You just restated what was originally said.

My Walmart only had a few of them left on the pegs tonight and I noticed that they had three cases on their pallet they were getting ready to stock. So they're selling here at least.

What I find hilarious is that food tray they call a ring. How they can charge $10+ for that thing boggles my mind. Sadly some kids will use that as a ring for all their figures

Wow, after finally seeing these things in action, I applaud Mattel for making some killer breakdancing figures.

Remember when Mattel tried to claim that they were the top selling WWE product they had? Clearly that must have been a lie because A) stores NEVER sold any, and B) why did they get cancelled then? Who would be stupid enough to cancel their "top seller"? lol
Kids buy Basics and Elites. Flex Force and Power Slammers are the same price as Basics and Elites, so there is no incentive to a parent of a child to buy them a ridiculous Flex Force or Power Slammer. I think my TRU was selling Power Slammers at either $14 or $16 the other day! I think any RATIONAL human would rather have an Elite than one of those silly Power Slammers.
Unless Mattel thinks we are all have ADD and we get drawn in by things that spin and blink, lol.

Retailers ordered more FF than any other WWE line. And once retailers finally saw they weren't selling like they hoped they stopped ordering them So that's why 2 or 3 years later they are canceled...because retailers didn't want to order them anymore.

The Walmart that I mentioned a few weeks ago that put out 3 cases worth of these is down to only a few on the pegs. So they're selling!

I can't but laugh alittle bit when coming in here. I know most of us are collectors but i'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that most of us here are adults. Adults who are complaining about a line of toys specifically made for kids.
I never collected the Flexforce because of the lower quality but also because I felt that while with all the other figures being displayed, the flexforce were MEANT to be played with. I can't say i'm sad to see Flexforce go, it was a good line but I had virtually no need for them.
What I like about the Power Slammers is that they are different. Yes criticizes a company for trying something new. Even Jakks had Flex Force type figures but I don't remember them ever having any of these. It could be something really cool down the road if they go the WWE All Stars route and make some legends in there too.
Speaking of All Stars I love hearing the whole argument about the cartoony look with big heads and unrealistic limbs and such. I didn't know every WWE toy and WWE video game had to be realistic? I like the Rumblers and All Stars and they're just something new.
At the end of the day this is a line of toys for kids, i'm not going to complain because non collectors could argue that the elites and basics are for kids too which I would have nothing to say.
