As most/some people know some of the Early release Mattel figures had tight legs on them (around the hips) where you couldnt pull the legs up or down without it seemingly wanting to break peg that's in the crotch piece. Was there ever a solution to fix this problem? Ive got about 5 figures that have this problem and Ive tried to buy new figures only for them to have the same problem as well. I heard that putting the legs in hot water loosens them. Which I tried and it did work, however once the legs cooled, the figures were again too tight to move. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'd like to know too. My 20-0 Taker's right leg is like that.

Hot water always worked for me. After you run them under water leave them in a sitting position for an hour or so. The hips always worked fine after I did that.

As PJ said, leave them in the sitting position for a while. it also takes multiple tries with some of the more stubborn ones, such as the Legends 2-pack Piper and the Legends 1 Terry Funk. Actually, all the figures with that leg mold (Punk, Bryan, Miz, Kofi, etc.) seem to have really stiff legs.

Also having the problem with Rude, L2 Iron Sheik, Bushwackers and to an extend Demolition Ax

My Elite Finlay and Elite 6 Batista were the worst offenders. I had to try them both more than once with the hot water treatment.

I messed up the Batista a little, and made his legs loose side to side. Pulling them forward is tight, but they were completely frozen at first, and I could see the plastic turning white when I tried to move them.
