Some wonderful customs here. Arguably some of the smoothest I've seen. It's always nice when someone ventures in to using more original or older figure territory and you have done so with a high skill and execution. I'm always intrigued to see what you show next.

I registered for the forum just to compliment you on how incredible these all are. Your Rick Rude almost made me teary eyed. So amazing. I've seen plenty of suggestions thrown around, but I think a Marcus Bagwell (pre-Buff, American Males, etc) would be neat, as would a Paul E. Dangerously. Especially since you've already made yourself a portion of the Dangerous Alliance. I agree about a Paul E figure. I made a custom one from a Scott Steiner, added a suit and phone which I think works well. Be intrigued to see H man's version

Been a while since I visited, but glad I did! I LOVE THE STEAMBOAT!!!! I'd like to see a 91ish but if I had to choose you made the one I would have liked. I wish I knew how to do this and you paint jobs are beyond what most could do. Sooo bad-ass man! Galoob 4life!

I know you're not supposed to ask a magician how he does his tricks, but I'd really love to know how the hell you made these things. Customizing by swapping body parts and painting is one thing, customizing a solid molded piece of plastic is another skill set entirely.
World class work.

Absolutely amazing. Seriously, the best customs I've ever seen AND it's on one of my favourite figure lines.
That Mean Mark is a thing of beauty.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments for my Mean Mark Galoob figure! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I've got three new Custom Galoob figures on the way and i'm working on a little side project as well that i'm really excited about sharing. Of course I will post here once they're all ready. In the meantime come and find me on Instagram and Facebook, where i will be posting progress pics and other WCW Galoob & Wrestling figure related content. Thanks again to everyone who has contributed to this thread so far!

In my last post i mentioned i had been working on a side project, well here it is! Those of you who remember the original WCW Galoob Line in 1990, will definitely remember that each figure was supplied with a Gold Title belt accessory. Which at the time, was very cool! However, it always frustrated me that the supplied generic Gold belt bared only a small resemblance to the actual WCW world title. Imagine if Galoob had made a more accurate belts. Of not just the world title, but all the Championships. Well, here are my Initial designs of what "could have" been the WCW world title & WCW US title... The designs are simplified abstractions of the real belts. Which i think stylistically suits the Galoob figures more than trying to replicate every detail like for like. Aficionados will notice, I've adopted a WWF Hasbro-esque Black and gold one piece belt design as opposed to an all Gold Plastic with black print. I think this looks better as it follows the colour scheme of the real championship belts. And here is a First look at a 3d print of my WCW world championship design. Here modeled for scale by the Rick Steiner Galoob figure. (I know he never held the title, but this figure was to hand) Lots more to come! Watch this space...or if you want to see more of what i'm up to come and find me on Instagram and Facebook. www.instagram.com/wrestlingfigureworkshopwww.facebook.com/HMansCustoms/
