SMH at the people who think he's bitter because he has a low opinion of one guy.

Waah waaah Bret is bitter. Waaah all he does is run people down. Waaah.
Saying that Bryan reminds him of Owen is the ultimate compliment.

I think Bret Hart is right....I don't think John Cena could be a heel. He's just a TERRIBLE actor. We've seen WWE tease little periods of time where John Cena had to "go to that place" in order to vanquish a foe.....and it always comes off as cheesy and forced.

Yeah for the record I think people who called him bitter over the Triple H comments (myself included) meant that he was still bitter about the Screwjob incident and all that other stuff. Last time I checked he hasn't held a 10year+ grudge towards Punk, Bryan or Cena.

That Owen compliment is probably the ultimate recognition anyone can ever receive from the Hitman.

Haha while I agree, he did a GREAT job with his Thuganomics 2003 gimmick. He was so viscous and seemed to kick ass at the same time. Obviously the rap gimmick wouldn't work now, but if he somehow could pull that attitude back, I think he could pull it off.

Wait until Vince hears this and throws Bryan in a super hero outfit...and I don't mean the jean shorts super hero outfit either.

Bret works with HBK on a regular basis and fufills most of Mcmahon's appearance requests. I think he's over the screwjob for the most part. But he's bitter over the guy who had the most limited role in the damn thing HHH? I know alot of you want to make sense of why Bret buried HHH but bitterness isn't it. He flat out thinks HHH ing blows. He's unimpressed with the guy and theres other reason behind it. I think HHH is mediocre at best, am i bitter? You don't have to like/agree with his opinion but i can't stand all the clutching for straws as to why he feels that way. It's like HHH has Kurt Angle talent and Bret's denying it.

I think it's been documented that Vince and Shawn were both twiddling their thumbs over what to do and it was Hunter who came out and said, "Just screw him."

That was a good listen, good to hear Bret being so complementary of Punk and Bryan.

Bret is right about everything except Cena. Cena sucks. I disagree. As a wrestler, Cena is actually better than guys like Hogan, and he carries the company well despite all the controversy he gets. Cena is good at doing what Cena is supposed to do.

No one's grasping for straws. In fact, it seems that most people take Bret's opinions as near gospel. I think the screw job theory is dead on. As to why he'd be bitter at Trips still and not Shawn? He's probably found it easier to forgive the person Shawn's become over the seemingly unapologetic person in Triple H. And that's not a shot at H either because he's one of my favorites, but I've never seen him express a fraction of the remorse over the situation as Shawn has. My honest opinion is that Bret has proven himself to be too selfish of a person and as a wrestler over the years for people to value his opinion as much as they do.
