Live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana!
Steel Cage Main Event!
Mak Cross vs. Cam Nitta
Two very important things happened last week. One, Trace Demon became the new co-owner of the WFWF and two Mak Cross kicked his best friend Cam Nitta clean in the face, costing his team a match against Scarlett Quinn and Penny Shannon. Cross claimed that it was his way of pointing out that at WFWF Psycho Circus (yep, that’s the name of the pay per view, live with it) it will be every man for himself when these two both challenge for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. Of course that didn’t sit too well with Cam Nitta and it gave Trace Demon a very good idea indeed. If two men have a problem then why not just throw them in the ring together and lock them inside of a fifteen foot high steel cage? Does this have something to do with the big stipulation that will be announced this week, or is it just Trace’s way of watching some carnage, there’s only one way to find out.
Handicap Match!
Phillip Schneider vs. Scarlett Quinn & Penny Shannon
The new co-owner of the WFWF promised that he wouldn’t let his personal grudges get in the way of the company, but if there’s any other way to explain this match than a personal grudge we don’t know about it. Phillip Schneider will defend the WFWF World Championship at the pay per view against Mak Cross, Cam Nitta and yes, Scarlett Quinn but he is also one of the most hated enemies of our new co-owner. On the other hand Scarlett Quinn and Penny Shannon are both closely allied with the new owner and it would appear that they’re both already getting some preferential treatment. Phillip Schneider will enter into this match at a big disadvantage but if there’s one thing we know it’s that you can’t underestimate Phillip Schneider especially when he has his own little horror family behind him. It’s all about the momentum in this one.
Big Time Tag Team Action
Tommy Staxx & Justin Tyme vs. Shawn Malakai & Thunder
For years, Shawn Malakai and Thunder were as thick as thieves. When one had their back against the ropes the other was there to defend him. But then Malakai backstabbed his best friend for a piece of gold. Several months later Xavier Pierce would give Thunder his marching orders and he hasn’t been seen since, that was until last week on Revolution when he made a shocking return to save his former friend Malakai from the combined attack of Tommy Staxx and Justin Tyme. As a result of that we have this big tag team match with a hell of a lot of questions behind it. How did Thunder get his job back? Can Shawn Malakai and Thunder work together as the great team that they once were or is there still bad blood between them? Will Tommy Staxx & Justine Tyme prove to be a formidable, if a little but crazy tag team? And just who is meant to be writing all of these match descriptions? We’ll answer at least one of these questions, I’d assume, this week on Revolution!
The New Co-Owner in Action
Trace Demon vs. Joe Bishop
Last week WFWF International Champion Trace Demon announced that he is the new co-owner of the WFWF. In an exclusive WFWF.COM interview he declared that he wasn’t going to use his newfound power to cheat his way to the World Championship declaring “my WFWF is going to be one where you own what you get, and you do that my going out, winning matches and messing people up. With that in mind our new co-owner has booked himself in a match against Joe Bishop. Last week Bishop lost the WFWF National Championship to, of all people, Carter Contra thanks to a well placed shot with a… are we reading this right? A shield? Seriously now? Anyway, Joe Bishop has declared that he deserves better than the National Championship and one way to do that is to beat the new co-owner of the WFWF and the International Champion Trace Demon.
Hardcore Match for the WFWF National Championship
Carter Contra vs. Devilkiller
Yes, you are indeed reading that correctly, Carter Contra is the new WFWF National Champion. Last week he went challenged then champion Joe Bishop for the title and nobody gave him a hope in hell because let’s face it, he didn’t have a hope in hell, but somehow he pulled it off thanks to a little help from the shield… no, an actual shield, yes, we mean it. Now of course the WFWF’s favourite video game fan finds himself in a match with a man who may, including Contra himself, considered to be the rightful challenger to the title, Devilkiller. And not to make you worried or anything Contra, but Devilkiller is pissed off and he’s coming for you. Oh, and by the request of the challenger this match will be held under hardcore rules! Have fun now you two, don’t kill the new champion too badly.
WFWF National Championship Number One Contenders Match
Andrew Carter vs. Lionheart vs. Mickey Donovan
The new co-owner of the WFWF Trace Demon declared last week that his WFWF is the land of opportunity, all you have to do is go out and grab it when it’s placed in front of you. That is exactly what these three young stars have the chance to do this week as they all face off for the right to challenge either Carter Contra or Devilkiller for the title at the pay per view. Last week these three men didn’t have the best of times. Mickey Donovan was actually on the losing end of a triple threat number one contenders match to the National Championship, which means he gets a rare second chance at getting his title shot. Elsewhere Andrew Carter took an arrow to the knee while Lionheart somehow managed to put himself back together again after being eaten alive by violent gangster goldfish, which by the sounds of things puts them both at a serious disadvantage. One of these three men will get the opportunity to challenge for the title at WFWF Psycho Circus and if any of them no-show… well then we’ll serve them up to the goldfish ourselves.
