I hope it's King of the Ring, but from what I have heard, Vince McMahon is not high on the KOTR concept.
I think it's gonna be Cyber Sunday. Unlike KOTR, McMahon is very high on social media and I think that it would be a very good idea for a PPV.
Your thoughts?

I don't see it being Cyber Sunday because they do that type of thing on Raw almost every week now.

For some reason I don't think it will be KOTR. More so because MITB is over the summer, & the winners get title shots. I know it's nitpicking, but I can't picture 3 new guys getting main event pushes all at once.

At first I was excited when I read the title cause I thought the PPV was announced but then I saw it was a Cody Rhode's Diva thread and knew I would be disappointed. I wasn't wrong.  |

Bring back KOTR, or the rumored Bash at The Beach. I, personally, LOVE the one night tournament, I thought that was a better way to build a main eventer.

I personally hope they bring back Bash At The Beach, that would be cool to see. King Of The Ring or Cyber Sunday are also good PPVs to have

He was already established as a main eventer when he got it in 2006. Regal in 2008, the winner was named GM of Raw. In fact, the only time it was REALLY used in a push was Lesnar. And you could make the argument for Angle since he won the title like 4 months after his KOTR win, but when you look at the rest - Austin included - they weren't really top draw main event guys until a few years after their wins. All the early winners too were either already well established or were never gonna be THE man. |
