Just getting back from the CajunDome. Very fun live show. Probably will check it out on the DVR tomorrow to see how the broadcast was. Lots of kids all over the place, and they chanting heavily for the babyfaces, especially Ryback and The Rock, with Jericho and Cena getting loud pops as well. Cena did get booed when he came out at the end of the show during Rock's celebration. Once the show was over, Cody came out to get a closer look at the new title belt. Rock had a little fun with the guy removing the pedestal from the ring before going back to Cody and his mustache. Rock got some advice from the crowd, and he followed it. Rock Bottom and People's Elbow, then some posing and celebrating with the fans to close the show.

just caught up on raw. Love the new title. The one shown on raw was merh, with the brahma bull side plates, however the replica for sale online looks SOO much better with the W side plates.

Each week I feel more and more like 2013 is the beginning of a new 'era', and I think the new belt may in a small way signify that.

if cena won the royal rumble, and said hes going for the WWE title, why does he have to win a number 1 contenders match?

So Punk holds the title for well over a year, and they let Rock debut a new belt, after wrestling for it ONCE, defending it ONCE and doing nothing but promos since his "return"?
Goes to show what the WWE really views as important.

Ugh...so obvious Jericho will turn heel tonight. I wish they would keep him face, a feud between him and Ryback doesn't appeal to me at all. Yeah... |

Remember a while ago Punk said a new title was in the works but not to get our hopes up? I wonder how long this entire thing has been planned for. .com says Summer 2011 was the first mention of it. |
