Can't escape something that doesn't exist. Interesting. can you explain a little further? Keep in mind my use of the word you does not mean you specifically, it is a general term. From what I have seen the people who use the term friend zone come off as seeming as though the woman (don't see many girls complaining about a friend zone) owes them something. As if being nice or buying them stuff automatically means she must be interested in you and that you deserve her affection. Then when she does not deliver what you expect from her, derogative words are sometimes used and then you say you are in a friend zone. You cannot force her to like you. Either she does or doesn't. If you are being nice or buying her stuff just because you hope she will give you something in return (her affection) then you're just being an bunghole. Your best bet is to just ask her out and if she declines then continue being her friend and forget about going out with her. Fine someone new to like. If being friends is too much for you to handle then just tell her that you have feelings for her that are too strong and you can't be around her without feeling like that so it's best if you stopped being friends. |

I'd say the biggest mistake people make with someone they like is being too nice or caring about the other person's needs. You don't need to be like, "Me, me, me", but it also can't be "Her, her, her". Find a happy medium where you can fufill your needs and some of hers, because making everything all her about reeks of low self-esteem, and girls don't dig that.
Also, touch her more. Not like pedo-groping or anything weird, just a little nudge or whatever here and there. If she resists, you might want to hang it up; if not, do it more and more and see where it goes. You touching her is a sign of confidence and wanting more, and her letting you touch her is a sign you may be breaking down some walls on the road to a relationship.

While you can sway them a little one way or another by how you act, in the end there is nothing you can do. Either she likes you or she doesnt and while time can change things it usually doesnt.
If you really like her stay her "best friend forever." Maybe one day she will change her mind.
Oh and if youve never asked her out you are not in the "friend zone," youre in the "I`m too shy to make a move so I blame her" zone.
