Am I missing something here? I haven't gotten a notice for the update when I go into the game, and sometimes, if I go to it on the Google Play Store, I can update there, but nothing for the Christmas update. Weird. I had both. I had an updated in Google Play, which updated the logo. Then I had a content download in the actual game itself, once I started the game up. |

I actually went back to Google Play just after I posted this, and found the button to update it. It might have been there the last time I checked, but didn't realize it.

Having issues with the Xmas update...can't play for more than 2 minutes without it crashing. Please don't unfriend as I'm trying to get active again! Haven't had any issues myself with the update. Be able to do my regular stuff in my town, and visit numerous others. I'm rather happy with the winter look, since I didn't play it last winter. I think I speak for everyone when I say THANK YOU EA for finally putting in a way to locate characters at the tap of a button vs. having to serach for them. I also like the Exclamation Point next to people's pictures to let you know when they have a task of some kind. Seems like the gift cards that you collect are being given out in a higher amount in each friend's town, but the amount needed for an unlockable is higher as well. I'm just happy the entire game isn't a shade darker, to the point where I can't see the screen. It does make a lot of sense that all of Springfield would be on the Naughty List just because of Homer. It's on the naughty list because of Bart which does kind of make sense. I like the update. I like the character finder. I like how you can move between towns easier now. |

So if anyone does have crashing issues, delete your pending friend invites. Totally cleared it up for me.

Man I haven't touched this since Halloween. That really just ruined it for me. Having to log on 3 times per day for a month to collect ghosts. Over and over and over... F that.

As I was waiting to get a coin for the Wheel of Fortune thing, I kept talking about how I wanted Mr. Plow and how if I didn't get him at some point before Christmas was over I was gonna be sad.
First token. First spin. It slows down on the thing before Mr. Plow. I let out an OOOOOHHHHH in anticipation. It seemed to stop on the divider thing. I was stricken with grief. Then, it popped over to Mr. Plow. The crowd went wild.

I got money my first two spins and just got Christmas Skinner house.
I'm really liking the updates to finding characters and going from Springfield to Springfield without having to go back to the menu.

Does anyone have an idea on this. I unlocked the mall the other day, placed it, and it finished building, but the task book icon for it, still remains on the side.

I had all of the house decorations and Mr. Plow from last Christmas, so I've ended up with Lisa & Marge snowmen, the ClausCo building, and the mall. I really want Plow King though!!!

Honestly, it is looking like we are never going to get any of the community prizes except maybe the first two. It may be another week before we get the first one.

Wow, ok, I think they might have added on to the community total, because a couple hours ago, it was around 250 million, and I just checked, and it's now just outside of 450.
