^It is a pretty great album. Roulette Dares (The Haunt of) is an amazing song.
And speaking of them I just listened to Relationship of Command and Acrobatic Tenement by At The Drive In.

Pretty disappointing to say the least.

That'd be "Ungrateful" by Escape The Fate and "13" by Black Sabbath.

kanye west - yeezus
yeezus is one of, if not the most forward thinking mainstream hip hop album of all time. taking sounds from the underground and ushering them into the pop sphere. maybe ye's best actually.

Agreed, I also think Daft Punk's production on it is way above their own album this year. That aside: Empire of the Sun - "Ice on the Dune"; pretty fun.

While I agree that the production on it is game-changing, it's one of Kanye's weaker lyrical performances. A lot of the themes are repetitive and recycled from MBDTF, and I can only take so much of Kanye rapping about himself. Also, there's a ton of one-liners that make me laugh and shake my head at just how ridiculous and cheesy they are. By no means is it a bad album, it's just pretty so-so if you ask me. I absolutely LOVE the production though. As seanzor stated, Daft Punk's production, especially on "On Sight," was amazing.

Omerta and Coverta by Adrenaline Mob. AMob is either replacing Mike Portnoy or they're breaking up. Mike's schedule was too hectic to remain in the band and last night was, at least, his last show with the band.

Jimmy Eat World - Damage
Currently listening to Kanye West - Yeezus
I'm enjoying the album, but I'm tired of people on music forums proclaiming it's the greatest thing known to man and insinuating that anyone who doesn't like it must have horrible taste in music and not appreciate art.

That's how it's always going to be. The album title is accurate; his fans think he's that great I swear.

"Yeezus" by Kanye West, but I've also had "Save Rock and Roll" by Fallout Boy blasting lately too.
