In your opinion, who is a wrestler whose newer figures pale in comparison to what they were previously? And, out of what's being released at the moment, who do you think has set the bar so high that future versions won't compare?
For me, two figures stand out. Randy Orton and the Rock. Specifically, there has not been a better version of Randy Orton since E9, even the simple repaint in Elite 12 isn't painted as well, especially the eyebrows and the tats (they look sloppier on 12). The Rock figure from Wrestlemania 27 is perfectly painted and the neck post doesn't seem too long. It is only a shame that the figure isn't in wrestling gear. E14 isn't terrible, but E16 looks lame with the sharpie goatie.

As in an older version is better than a newer one? Or his newest one is going to be hard to beat?

Sheamus - Elite 8 was perfect. Santino - Elite 3 was perfect, plus the fact no future ones will have the chest tat.

E8 Sheamus. Just the headscan is better than the others. Doubtful mattel are gonna change his headscan. But it's needed . An angry face does not fit on a baby face! And your sig and icon are disturbing

I think Sheamus recent figures will be hard to top. The detailing that was put in the hair is great. E8 is a good figure, but the hair looks lazy in comparison to the other elite releases. Plus there's the overbite thing that makes him look like Beaker from the Muppets. As far as Santino, I'm just not a fan of his in general.

The Santino comment is probably true due to the fact that we will probably never see his chest tattoo again.

I think Elite 16 Orton is much better than his Elite 9 one. The bearded scan is awesome.

Elite 16 Orton is and will be the best figure ever produced of his. For me the BOPPV Sheamus Elite has the best head scan and the wrestle mania toysrus exclusive CM Punk scan was awesome to.
But once a bearded Barrett comes out, that will top his previous two elites by a long shot.

Elite 16 Orton is cool, and I like it, but I think it's detailed to a fault. It doesn't resemble Orton. E9 is a dead on likeness. He has fairly smooth features, he is young still. I could see E16 being a good likeness for Orton when he's 40 years old.
I think Dolph Ziggler's newest Elite will be a tough act to follow. This figure is very divisive, however, it seem like half the wfig members love it and the other half hate it.

I honestly can't see a better Zack Ryder figure being made than the last Elite one. The only thing that could have made that figure better was a shirt and the Twitter/Facebook/Youtube logos. People can complain about the hair, but it's an accurate reflection of that time period. It's no different than a Kane figure with a mask on, vs. one that doesn't have.
Elite 2 Orton - Beard or no beard, this is easily still the best Orton I own. Signature Series 1 Jericho - I own a few other Jericho figures, but this one is still my favorite even as a Basic.

E17 John Cena, or at least similar figures using this design like the BOPPV Green Cena.
Between the new knees, torso, arms, and headscan I just can't see them getting better. Even though the headscan on this is old news, no other headscan really captures Cena like this one.

No Sheamus headscan has been better painted than elite 8, the hair colour was perfect unlike the red haired ones we're getting these days.
Elite 16 randy orton is the ultimate orton for me, and that was tough because elite 2 was great to me.
