Was he short packed or what is there some other reason for him going at a crazy price? I mean I know it's his only elite so is this the reason for the prices? I just wish I didn't sell mine on ebay a few months back before I knew anything about mattel. I only got $9 too lol someone got a steal and had the nerve to complain because his logo was a little faded like it looked in the picture o well.

They were pegwarmers for the longest time. Target even had a $9.99 sale going on for Elites back then for a month during when E7 was hitting.

I still kick myself or not picking him up when he sat on my Walmart pegs for almost a year. Now that I want him, the rice is outrageous.

This led me to thinking we see alot of basics and other peg warming stuff at biglots. so what are the odds we will ever find some of these older elites that were peg warming?

I was lucky enough to get both kidd and david at 2 wal-marts in my area. Bought one then saw the other shortly after. It was just luck of the draw and right place right time. I also had them pre-ordered on spam as well. Its always good to have a backup plan.

I lucked out by trading w/ OnlyCitySaint.
He didn't really have any figs I wanted, but told me there were some older Elite series figs rotting away on the pegs of his kmart/walmart.
Sure enough he found me a Tyson Kidd that had been sitting there for years

Jesus Christ, I just looked up these on eBay, I can't believe the price!
I have both him, and DH Smith loose (only opened to photograph and display), if anyone wants them at a decent price, PM me and make me an offer.
They're just sitting on my shelf, I'd rather one of you have 'em. - If anyone is serious, I'll even make a thread in the classifieds.

^ y u kno review anymore? Not to derail the thread from an AWESOME figure... I had a contract to do photography for Mattel, in which they owned all of my shots. That's the short story, I picked possibly furthering a career over reviewing - but I'm thinking about getting back into the swing of things. I have a lot of photos to use, I just need to sit down and actually get to writing again, but work with other companies, and my actual full time job make it a little harder... But just for you, this will probably be my next review:  |

On topic, the Hart Dynast basics are stupidly cheap. We could all just make customs and be done with it. Anyone know a decent recipe keeping size in mind?
