I loved Umaga when he was in WWE, but I can't say I've ever thought about a Mattel figure of him. With that said though, if they made one I'd definitely get it.

Yes! I always thought Umaga was extremely underrated and I'd love a Mattel figure of him

If they made him, do you think they'd give him a Brodus/Yoko type torso, or an ab-crunch style one?

I really think we'd get a Rikishi figure first. As the Usos father I could see him getting one.

Umaga was a great wrestler who's life ended far too early so I would love to see an elite flashback figure of him in the future. Good entertainer perhaps, not so much a great wrestler. I wasn't really a big fan as he was kind of one dimensional in my opinion. All power and nothing really to say. I'm sure they'll make him before long, but I won't waste my money on him.

I'm really surprised with the replys on this thread. The people that are saying no would probably want figures of the likes of Chris Benoit and The Gobbledy Googer who don't deserve a figure as much as Umaga does.
The man was an upper carder during his whole WWE run so why shouldn't there be a figure of him?[/quote]
I had to read this twice to be sure I wasn't imagining it. Dude, WTF? What do you mean Benoit doesn't deserve a figure as much as Umaga? The man had a much greater, much longer career. look @ all he accomplished. Umaga may have been an upper carder under that incarnation (lets not forget the 3 Minute Warning disaster. That was just suck on a monumental scale), but Benoit was a major player for years in several different organizations. If it hadn't been for the way his life ended, and what he did to his family, Mattel would have probably already made several of him. Chris Benoit was a legend and it saddens me that because of his horrific last few days, his entire life is being scrubbed from the WWE memory banks.

I think Umaga would be a good choice...he'd make an interesting figure and plus he wasn't around that long ago so current fans would want him too, I think a lot of current fans skip on the classics they don't know about it. In closing, I'd buy him

I'd prefer to get guys like Flair, Windham, Haku, Powers of Pain, Valentine and Santana before Umaga. Sometime down the line when people more deserving have been released I will be up for it since I was an Umaga fan, but as it stands now I'd prefer more legends.

I would love one. He and Boogeyman would both be awesome as done by mattel. I personally am not a fan of their in ring skills ,so much as both would make for great looking figures. And the collector side of me can easily forgive a lack of 5 star matches if it means awesome new plastic. Also I am clamoring for a Doink in this same vein as well. I would happily buy those along with the likes of Flair,Hogan,Race,Luger ,etc.
