Maybe if we can create enough demand, we can ruffle some feathers... (dont start with the BS either fellow forum members)
MDT: please tell us what is the minimum you would have to manufacture for it to make sense (maybe I will shut-up (and others) if its too many)
I really do think that there enough people who collect WWE Mattel (at this point) that would buy one. People are buying them all day for $100+...
FORUM MEMBERS
I know you guys, dont start with the negativity, JUST ANSWER THE DARN QUESTION: Im fully aware that they didnt make money when they initially got released. Im fully aware that the retail stores dont want it (Matty Collector??). Im fully aware that MDT constantly states they wont make another.
Just an idea MDT, either make it, or outsource the design to somebody who would be willing to make it. Shop it around, do something (Matty Greyskull Castle style). You guys have gold with these things. I would say you could move at least 10,000 sets easily upon release, if not more.
On to the petition question:
WOULD YOU BUY AN ELITE SCALE RING AT THE PRICE OF $99.99-$129.99??
IF SO, IN WHAT TIME FRAME (ie 1-3 months upon release or up to 6 months upon release)

I already own one so I probably wouldn't buy one, but I think they would do exceptionally well if sold via Matty Collector - provided that it's promoted more than the Matty Legends were.

The retail stores don't want rings because they don't sell well, which is why you don't see WWE or TNA rings anywhere...and for the price you're asking they will for sure not want them....better off making it an exclusive somewhere.

A Matty Collector or MattelShop Exclusive would do just fine at $69.99-$89.99, I would think.

You should have had a no option so I could participate. Price point is silly. A more conservative price point at 18x18 is what is what id be interested in.

Where's the "I would never buy one at that price" option?

I would pay up to $70 for an elite scale ring with a Legends theme.

I already ready own an ESR but I would gladly buy another. I think $129.99 is a little steep but if it were to come with Smackdown, Current Raw, and Classic Ropes/Skirts/posts/stairs I'd be all over that.
Or sell a cheaper one but make the add-on's available from time to time.
Instead of a poll, Mattel should put out preorder poll to see who would committ to buying one like they did with Castle Grayskull. People, including myself, preordered Castle Grayskull without a prototype image so if MDT did something of a similar then it would be no loss for them if the numbers didn't reach their goal.
I also say multi ring decos because this could be the last time we get one, so it would be nice to have a few different display options. Hell, I'd even be willing the pay $200 or $300 if it came with a few other accessories like a Steel Cage, HitC, or EC.
Too bad the Legends didn't work out with Matty Collector, because if it had I would see something like this being more of a possiblilty. They could have got into other accessories like Elite Scale barricades, and whatnot.
My vote is yes, and I would preorder/buy one as soon as it was available.

I need to get rid of my ESR. If you guys are willing to pay those prices then I'll put mine on Ebay. Thing isn't worth those prices imo, and it's way too big.
I'd love a ring a little bit bigger than the basic rings but with the elite apron and turnbuckles and stuff. Something that's more functional to have on display.

A Matty Collector or MattelShop Exclusive would do just fine at $69.99-$89.99, I would think. It was priced $60 -$70 at mass retail when it was first released. If it went to Matty the price would almost double just like everything else that went to Matty because if the very limited production run. People here bitched about the $60 price when it first was released. So you really think they'd pay $100 plus before shipping? I picked up mine at TRU for $25 or $30 thanks to TRU rewards coupons. And then another one for $20 at Big Lots as their doorbuster black Friday sale. That's two rings for less than the MSRP...but if I had to pay full price for each then I would have gotten them. Because as nice as it is it's not worth $60 in my opinion
