I cant seem to find many of these on eBay, i thought they would be floating around on shelves at retail by now considering the teddy set has started to show up. Are these rare?

It's supposed to be a Spring release, so the popular consensus is that it's not even supposed to be out until Spring 2013, and a few shipments just got out early.

I found both sets today, bought the Johnny set, left the Teddy set.

I think they put some out just to tease us, seriously. Everyone's going nuts looking for them, when they'll be out in hundreds same as the first two baf sets in a couple months.

According to a VERY reliable source the Johnny BAF set was a LIMITED RELEASE. And only some random stored will get re-stock of the leftovers.
In all honesty though I'm still hoping it will hit mass TRU retail in Spring

Well last I spoke to my TRU guy he said the warehouse had an open order for a few thousand pieces. And as far as I know that was just the warehouse that services our region's district stores. And I can only imagine it's the same with other regions warehouses.
The tags at the con said SPRING Release for both Johnny and Teddy. And it's not spring yet. Cole, the curtain, Ricardo, announcer's table all came out in a limited amount early. Then there was nothing for a month or so only to get slammed with them. Johnny and Teddy will be the same.

Well Mattel has said in the past hundreds of times they have no control over stores orders or distribution so I don't see how they can say what stores will have or when they'd have it. And why would TRU only make a limited order this time?
Personally I don't care as Johnny and Teddy are not figures I want or need, but I do want another Christian. And like I said when I gave my TRU guy the UPC for Christian he said the region's warehouse has an open order for thousands of pieces of this set. So I'm sure my TRU will get these in full force in a couple weeks.

i ran across Cen and Sincara At TRU today, picked up Sincara. They did not have either of the Two my last visit so im assuming more re-stocks are coming.

I'm glad I got them when I did... but I'm sure they'll be floating around pretty soon. Like others have said, it's suppose to be a spring 2013 release, which usually means March-April.
