I see all 3 of these guys being big. For different reasons.
Ambrose is gold on the mic. When that guy speaks, he is confident & believable. He obviously has ring skills, but when you can talk you'll be huge.
Rollins has that Jeff Hardy kind of appeal. He's fine with the mic, nothing amazing but he's at least capable of hanging. But he could have that rebelious attitude that fans can connect with, and he's easily the most talented & flashy in the ring of the 3
Reigns is the wild-card. When he debuted with the other 2 most people were like "It shoulda been Hero!!!" however they have booked him perfectly in this group. He is the dominant ass kicker. His promo style is straight-forward, and again...when he speaks you listen.
It's really amazing how all 3 of those guys fit their roles perfectly. If the creative team was more creative The Shield could last for YEARS. Sadly I'm sure they will start losing, start the blame game, and break up by the end of the summer.

I think they could all have success.
I think Reigns will get the initial push because of his look and his size. The question will be whether or not he can handle it.
Rollins is a total wild card to me, as others have said.
Ambrose has to be successful. His ability on the microphone is too good to be ignored. He'll find a way to rise, just like Punk. When Ambrose speaks, people already listen. You believe everything he says. That's incredibly hard to find right now in wrestling.

To be honest, despite what I've read in this thread I still don't see Reigns as the major star. Over either of the other two to be honest.
I think in the modern product, Ambrose and Rollins will have more chance of a connection with the audience. In turn, leading to a greater success.
At this time, I can't see any of them featuring any higher than mid-card though.

I think Rollins has potential to be the next face of WWE once Cena calls it a day. Rollins could get extremely over as a Shawn Michaels-esque babyface.

I'm probably the only person on here who doesn't care for Ambrose on the mic.

I would like to expand on my answer after reading some replies- Roman- He could become the next big star, or turn into the next Mason Ryan. Seth- I see possibly being like everyone says the Jeff Hardy, and better yet since he's a little bigger then most he can pick up to, and be a partway powerhouse, I see him being the face, just not World champ for long. I hope to see a reign from him but not to long, also a heel turn after his face run is over. Dean-Probably going to have the big storylines that draw people's attention, and I see him having a title run, along with a punk storyline, which would be amazing.
I may be wrong as this are all opinions,

It's more like Who will they let become the breakout star.
They've invested enough stock in all three, enough to let them face off with main event talent week in, and week out. In my opinion, and I think it'll be apparent in the near future, that all three will be breakout stars. They'll split ways and be all be sucessful in their own ways. All will be champions, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns moreso WWE/WHC champions, and Seth Rollins will enjoy a nice little "Kofi Kingston" style spots with many mid card titles, etc.

Sorry if there's already a topic about this but who do you think out of the Shield who is more likely to breakout after their disbanding? Seth, Roman, or Dean? I don't think that Roman will make it, they don't need another powerhouse, Dean is good all around and Seth is pretty crazy, plus Dean is more solid on the mic, My opinion or wish would be Dean as the heel and Seth as a face, and they feud, but thats my opinion Notice how they have Roman come out of the crowd on his own. I think Vince or whoever would like Roman to break out but ive a feeling Dean Ambrose will go on to further things, hopefully.

Another point on this is that the funny thing is WWE's booking now is largely cyclical. They'll care about someone and the next second that person will be nothing.
Drew McIntyre: Personally chosen by Vince McMahon, Intercontinental Champion, exercised authority over Smackdown GM, forgotten about, jobs.
Wade Barrett: Hottest thing in wrestling during the Summer 2010, gets a PPV win over Cena, makes Cena his bitch, forgotten about, Intercontinental Champion with hardly any credibility. Basically a jobber to the stars.
I just hope this doesn't happen to the Shield. It won't happen to Reigns.. regardless of what you think or I think, he has the look, the attitude, the build... everything WWE look for. That's why he set up the victory at EC when Ambrose/Rollins were all but out. That's why he takes on the crowd on his own.
But to think of the possibility of Ambrose/Rollins ending up like Heath Slater/Justin Gabriel is just disheartening.. I honestly believe if something akin to that happened it would be the final straw for me as a fan.

I also think Ambrose makes some pretty stupid faces.

I also think Ambrose makes some pretty stupid faces. lol that's certainly true; I mean what about those backstage segments where the camera pans back and forth as each member speaks, with stupid Ambrose expressions dotted about here and there.

I'm probably the only person on here who doesn't care for Ambrose on the mic. Nope, I agree. I also don't think he's any good in the ring. I can only judge him from what I've seen of him as a member of Shield, but his punches are sloppy as hell.

Reigns will be the one who receives the initial push. Ambrose will work his way up, and Rollins will be in the mid-card to upper mid-card for his entire career. It's like looking into a crystal ball!

But he's new, so he has a lot if time to improve and be great...
