My Dad and I took the 2 hour drive down to Buffalo, NY to go shopping. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday and I definitely took advantage of this trip.
Sunday, March 10
Super Flea - Flea Market
I heard that there was a vendor at the Flea Market that sold wrestling stuff. I wanted to go and check it out. This is what I picked up from there (I know this is a Mattel board, but this is the only Jakks stuff I picked up, so I just threw it onto this post.)
The loose figures were $2 each and the MOC Classic Figures were $10 each. IMO, the prices on these items were great, so I picked them up.
Goodwill [Union Road]
Shopping at Thrift Stores is always fun. Stopped by a few, but was only to find wrestling items at this one. I already have these VHS tapes on DVD, but I didn't want to leave Goodwill empty handed, so I picked these up:
Monday, March 11
Wal-Mart [Niagara Falls Blvd.]
I took a picture of the picture that was posted on here for $11 Elites. I was able to use the Price Match and got the Elite Daniel Bryan for $11.04. Also picked up the WMH Shawn Michaels and WMH Kane and this store.
Target [Niagara Falls Blvd. (Amherst)]
There was only one figure hanging on the pegs. Instead of the usual Rey Mysterios or Triple Hs that I saw at other Targets, this figure was there:
I was surprised to find Miss Elizabeth. I thought it was too good to be true because it was the only figure that this Target had. I stared at it for about two minutes, inspecting the packaging. I kept on wondering to my self "why is this figure still here?", and "is there anything wrong with this?". I thought it was too good to be true, but it was true lol. I picked it up at regular price because they wouldn't Price Match using the picture from my camera.
FYE [Boulevard Mall]
They had a pretty good DVD sale. I already have the Bret Hart DVD, but this one has the skull cap, so I picked it up anyways. I also already have the HBK DVD and Twist of Fate DVDs seperate, but I'm a completist so I got that one too:
Toys R Us [Sheridan Drive]
They didn't have that much, but I picked up the Dolph figure:
Wal-Mart [Sheridan Drive]
This was the first time I saw the Orton figure at any Wal-Mart. I also really like the Dolph figure so I picked that up too. I showed the picture of K-Marts price tag and was able to price match the Dolph figure.
Wal-Mart [Transit Road (Williamsville)]
This was the first time I saw the regular t-shirt series. I really like the way they look, and I doubt that we'd get them in Canada, so I picked up the four they had:
Tuesday, March 12
K-Mart [Military Rd.]
When I arrived at this location, I had noticed that they have a new sale going on until March 16 on pretty much they're entire wrestling section. I was missing the Cena/Orton Rumblers two pack in my collection from this wave, so I picked that up, along with a Basic Christian figure. Both were on sale.
Target [Delaware Ave.]
Missed out on Ryback and Cesaro again, but picked up Brodus:
K-Mart [Hertel Ave.]
IMO, this was a steal. This was only $10. This boxset is usually $35, but K-Mart had it for only 10. Just an FYI, in case anyone else was interested in purhasing this, other K-Marts I went to did not have a sale tag on this playset, so possibly try bringing it up to a price scanner as it MIGHT ring up at $10.
K-Mart [Orchard Park Road]
Finally stumbled accross the Championship series. They were on sale for $10. The only one I wanted was the Big Show, so I got that, along with the Kane/Undertaker Rumblers two pack:
Toys R Us [McKinley Parkway]
This was the first and only time I saw Elite Series 20. They only had Punk, Santino and Cena. With only one other store to go to before returning home, I picked up Punk and Santino.
Wal-Mart [Southwestern Blvd.]
Found the WM DVDs and a "new" Undertaker DVD there. I pretty much finished the rest of my money on those:
...And that's all folks! Thanks for looking and an extra thanks to those who actually read everything!
My complete haul:
Thanks again!
