I must admit I suck at making customs, but still would like to give it a go. Switching parts is easy enough (as long as I don't have to split a torso, which I have never been able to do properly).
Have a bit of a rookie question.
Once I get a CSTT 5 Demolition set I intend to make a Crush figure. IMO the perfect head for Crush would be Stevie Richards.
But, to make Crush taller I was thinking of switching the regular Demo legs to the lower legs of a RA Big Show.
Question: Would the lower legs of Big Show fit onto regular RA upper legs? Would it make Crush much taller?
If anyone has tried this, please post a picture.

I would suggest switching them with some RA20 Chris Masters legs and painting them black.

the CS Beefcake head actually works perfect for Demolition Crush. It comes with the whacky mullet already on and looks all growly.
As for the Big Show legs, I'm clueless. I don't have one of the RA Big Shows yet, so I have no idea.

Well are you going to use an R3 Big Show lower legs? Or an RA?
The R3 Big Show has molded knee pads that could hinder your goal. You could cover it up with a knee pad, but it may look odd.
After comparing an RA Big Show lower legs, to the lower legs of a normal RA, I think it could work. It'd maybe raise the figures height to around the size of a Kane figure, give or take.
The plastic around the knee looks a tad bigger/wider though. It could end up being either pretty hard, or down right impossible to connect the parts. Or it could just end up looking kind of goofy.
It's starting to look like noone has attempted this yet (or at least haven't gotten around to posting here). Your best bet may just be to try it yourself right now.

I would suggest the following
Head: Beefcake ( I like that option the more I look at it)
Torso and crotch: Smash
Legs: Ted Dibiase or maybe HHH

The Big Show's legs do seem too thick. |

If that doesn't work out, the new Taker in RA 22.5 has the Black kickpad mold used on the Masters, thus you wouldn't have to paint.

I'd try the ra15 big show boot mould. here is a comparison of the big show boot height compared to another fig's boot height. (I traded my ra15 big show but the cs7 andre boot mould is the same mould). It would probably make crush a half inch taller.  |
