This is for ones on the forum with girlfriends/wives. Anyone else have a significant other who hates the fact that you are a toy collector? My girlfriend despises it.lol I was just wondering if anyone has the same circumstances as I do

Yep my missus hates it and would like nothing more than for me to sell up.
Never gonna happen though.

I thought this was gonna be a thread asking when we're gonna get an action figure of wrestlers wives and girlfriends. This belongs in the WF Lounge area.

My wife is very cool about it. She travels for work and she'll even call me and tell me what a certain TRU or Walmart has when she's out of town. She'll buy them here and there for Bday or Christmas gifts too. My collection is in one of our spare bedroom/offices. I keep it very neat and organized, cuz I'm OCD, so she doesn't complain. Plus the display cases match the furniture. I just gotta be careful about all her Coach and Louie bags, shoes, etc. Otherwise if I bring that up, I know she'll call out the wrestling figs. I'm very lucky. We just hope to have kids soon that I can blame all the toy purchases on. Lol. Sorry for bragging.

Most women that I have dated have been ok with them. I have a clean apartment with my legends figures displayed on the mantle above my fireplace. If you keep it classy and don't let your place look like an eight year old kid's bedroom, then you can pull it off.

Mine doesn't mine, sometimes she even goes figure hunting with me. She didnt like it though when I had about 25 figures on display on top of our dresser. So now I just got a couple of my favorites on my night stand.

My fiancé just accepts it. I try not to go crazy in front of her though. She hated it at first but now she's just like whatever. I keep everything in the man cave and it doesn't affect her life 98% of the time. I'm sure if she had her way I would sell it all and be done with it. Problem being, my collecting is a full blown addiction and if it wasn't this it'd be something else like comics, cards, or whatever. It's my thing, and we all have hobbies.

My wife is ok with it i guess.. She would prefer me at home customizing and playing with the figures Rather than hanging out late with friends or at the workshop doing my motorbike..

Nothing wrong with it...I just think it is too much. In my room I have a moc E19 Daniel Bryan and E19 HBK loose on display. Even though I have more figures than that. Less is more.

My wife is actually all for me collecting and enjoys hunting with me. She is a pretty big wrestling fan herself. She tells me that if we ever get a divorce that she is taking all of the Legends line with her. I have managed to get her to agree to let me keep all of L1, L4 and L6 Warrior and L6 Eddie...lol

My wife has "come to terms with it". She knows I enjoy it so she's moderately cool with it. Back in the day when I was on the dating scene, I had more than a few girlfriends who were okay with it. Least they seemed to be. To be honest, I never asked. We were preoccupied, if ya know what I mean.
