Can this be locked? This has no place in the Mattel forum. It's garbage like this, and those emo posts that make it a pain to find actual news on Mattel figures in the Mattel forum.

Umm he's not a reputable company or retailer. As a matter of fact the whole thing wasn't reputable we came to find out. So apparently I made the right decision. Your argument is stupid. I'm pretty sure there's no pay after arrival option on bestbuy.com or rsc.com. You apparently never use the classifieds board. I have had newer members send first a couple times and I always pay. But I do agree with you that the op really wasn't hacked. How is the argument stupid? Just because you don't agree with it? What are you, 12? If someone asked me to send my item before they paid, I would laugh in their face. Over many years selling video games on eBay, buyers there have done it, and it's quite possibly one of the most laughable things I've ever heard. "Yes, please take my item without paying first." Let me stamp "sucker" on whoever agrees to that. It's no wonder RSC tells people to do this "at their own risk". Now, I'm not saying attacking *you* directly or saying you're a scammer or whatever else by any means (as you obviously are a very credible trader, and I enjoy your commentary in these forums, but anyway!), but that way of thinking is absolutely preposterous. If you're not comfortable with paying first, then pay via PayPal without using the gift option. It's easily the safest way (but not failproof) to do monetary transactions on the internet. I wouldn't ever send first either if someone is buying something from me. No business or person does that. You show the cash or you don't get something. If they don't want it, they will move on and lose out cause what they don't buy.. someone else will. But yeah I totally agree Hydox. When buying something, the buyer should always make payment first no matter what the case, unless they have done deals with you before and worked up some "Friendship Credit" thing, but in a trade situation references do matter then on who sends first. Whoever has lower ref's sends first. |
