I am really glad that we are finally getting Ultimate Warrior in this attire. This was one of my biggest wants since Mattel first started making Legends and I am always a fan of Mattel's version of the old Hasbro figures.
But I was wondering if anyone else here would have preferred him to being an Elite figure. It makes perfect sense why Mattel would have not put him into the Elite line since he could very well be taking up the spot of someone we don't have in Mattel form. But at the same time I would have much rather had this as an Elite over The Giant.
Plus it would have been a good opportunity to give us either a Yellow IC, or a Blue/purple Winged eagle (or both but god forbid knowing Mattel) Hell this would have made a great RSC Exclusive as well.
I think this should be easy enough to do an Elite fix-up of but I am just hoping that the boots wouldn't be too much of a hassle. I am hoping that they are just new covers instead of a whole boot.

Yes. I guess you can technically use the parts to make an elite but that was a version I def wanted of Warrior. Too bad I don't collect basics.

Elite > Basic any day. I have been trying to get all Mattel Warriors and from the 2 I have (B16, L6) the Elite/Legend is just better. I definitely would've preferred this to the Giant as well, but I do have E16 Nash  |

I think the value of All-Stars Macho Man is going to pick up. Split those trunks and use any elite Warrior body to swaps parts accessorized by B29 and you've got your elite-style right there. Could either loose the extra knee joint articulation and attach his basic boots/calves straight up or trim the elite calves pegs to fit in the basic boots.

Eh..small potatoes. Others are complaining this attire was too plain. B29 looks awesome and I got mine preordered.
However, If they are going to make another elite warrior lets get our moneys worth and have it from a more elaborate attire with a logical accessory.
What did you want to come with the B29 Warrior had it been elite?? Makes No sense.
My top 2 warrior wants are
SummerSlam 92 attire with duster
or
Royal Rumble 91 with jacket & colored (purple?) strap title belt

This was also my #1 Warrior choice. I would have preferred an Elite, but I'll be doing an Elite conversion anyway. At least the parts are plain enough that it won't be too hard to do. Aside from the leg articulation issue, the only thing missing will be the pink Warrior symbol on the back of his trunks, assuming they know to put that on the basic version, anyway. Personally, I don't particularly want an Elite Warrior in an attire he only wore once, and I think I'm in the minority in not wanting the singlet version. He only wore that when his WWF run was almost over, and it never looked right on him, IMO. I'd rather have something similar to what Legends 6 had - a figure with more deco than most basics get, with a belt included. Throw in a blue strapped Winged Eagle, and this is my pick:  |

I'd rather have an attire that can have a duster if they're going to do another Elite Warrior.

Elite would have been nice, but I'll take what I can get as far as Legends go. As for the boots just put the whole lower leg on the elite and scrap the double knee. That's what I did when I turned the last Basic Warrior into an Elite.

Yes I think Warrior should have been elite and they should of used Basic 26 Kane instead of the Kane they are using in elite 22.

B29 Warrior should NOT have been an Elite. For you to have an Elite figure in a Basics line up would severely alter the space time continuum. This would cause such a dangerous ripple effect that future figures would become self aware. This new figure awareness would lead to figures turning on man and eventually judgement day. Only a small number of us humans would survive. Our only hope? A man sent back in time to make sure that never happens.
I just hope I made it back in time before the Figures got a chance to send one of there own back to this time period. If a figure knocks on your door asking if you are Sarah Connor RUN.

I'm actually glad he's basic. I only have a few elites (mainly the von erichs & macho mans). Basic will be cheaper, which is good. I really don't care for the elite torso articulation.

Elite, I guess, is better if you play with the figures. But some elites are pretty hard to stand because of all the articulation. All that articulation cause some figures to get really wobbly so they easily tip over when displayed. Plus I also would rather pay 10 dollars for a figure as opposed to 24. |
