My mum moans whenever I buy a new figure. But it's my money so I don't really care. I have been selling a lot of my old toys etc from the attic which is kinda paying for them too, and these don't take up half as much space as they did. So technically I'm doing her a favour! Yeah, I'm glad I'm a loose collector cause MOC takes up SO MANY space.

My Mum doesn't bother. My dad normally says " that looks smart" , especially when I order CM Punks from the internet or Toys R us. He loved it when I built Ricardo. I want the BAFs so bad

My mum and dad don't mind especilaly my dad who is a huge wrestling fan anyway and that I'm spending my money which I earned myself on what I love best, collecting figures. It's always a win when a relative is a fan of wrestling. My Grandma loves wrestling and she supports my collection

If buying figures is the worst thing you can do with your money, consider it a good thing. Its not like you are blowing it on drugs and other crap. Yeah, I hate drugs. Thanks for the good advice. Now, I got something good to say to other people teasing me about my collection.

My dad gives me look of you're a weirdo, but the rest don't care,I don't tell my friends. this is what i get. i live with my dad and he is semi retired now so he really just sits at home all the time. sometimes i get big boxes from RSC that are shipped with the mattel labels that say WWE toys on them. ill get home and he'll say stuff like "your TOYS got here today." a little bit of sneer in his voice. I hate it when they call them toys im sure deep deep down it kills him to know that his 23 year old son is still buying wrestling figures, but it is nothing that causes a rift between us. im sure he would much rather me spend my money on other things and he is a little more hesitant to lend me money on the rare occasions i ask, but otherwise he hasnt scolded me for buying them or anything. its never something that comes up in conversation either. its not really something i tell my friends either because none of them were ever into action figures or stuff like that. they would never really understand what motivates me to buy them even at this age in my life. i dont think they would look down on me or want to distance themselves from me, but they would think it would be quite silly and i would constantly get ribbed for it.

I was raised watching wrestling on both my mom and my dads side of the family. My mom thought it was weird till she saw my whole collection...she now really loves the Legends line because its all the guys that she watched back in the day. My dad also thought it was odd till he went on a figure hunt with me and saw how detailed Mattel figures are. I asked my dad what he wanted for his birthday last week and he said he wanted an Undertaker action figure (His favorite wrestler). I hooked him up with an E18 & 20-0 Undertaker that I already had as trade bait and he marked out. He is now 53 and said he will be collecting figures. lol. No one is too old for wrestling. and I'm glad that your father still loves to collect WWE Figs.

My family is all cool and most of my close friends are toy collectors too (though not wrestling figures). So it works out. Not that it would matter to me if it didn't. I like having my collection

My dad doesn't care. He watches WWE with me, so he likes WWE and things the figures are kinda cool.
My mom hates it.
My girlfriend thinks it's a waste of money, but she realizes it's a hobby and that there are a lot worse things I could be doing with my time and money, so she lives with it.

My mom hates it, but my dad always comes by to check it out because he thinks that it's really cool.

Honestly never had a problem, some don't understand it but they still think its cool how many I have and even the females tend to know one or two names and are excited to see their figures. If people don't support you or your hobby they're simply a **** and don't waste your time trying to please them.

I am 42 and collect these and nobody really says anything to me. My wife collects stuff too so neither of us have a problem. My kids do rib me about it from time to time. They like to call them my dolls and I remind them that they are "action figures" I'm 36 years old & get the same "dolls" remark from my sister. She gives me a hard time about it because she's my big sister & she has to tease me about something, right? She won't buy me any, but as long as it's my money that's being spent it's just my weird little hobby in her mind.

I am 24 and show no signs of stopping my wrestling collection. my parents are fine with my collection. My dad jokes around whenever i get a new figure. He will say "what doll did you buy this time?" and i will say i bought kane's ACTION FIGURE.
I have never smoke or drank in my life. I just collect wrestling figures.

My wife is very supportive and will even buy me figs sometimes as gifts. She knows it makes me happy and it doesn't interfere with our finances or anything like that.
Plus I keep my display very neat. My parents think its funny but my mom understands. She's been an antique dealer for years. Plus she collects jewelery which is 10x more expensive. My younger brother is in college and is in a "too cool for school stage." But deep down he loves it because we grew up in the attitiude era together. Plus, he's an MMA fighter/trainer.
I moved out of state last year so my closest friends have yet to see my collection because I didn't have too many figs when I lived at home. Not sure how they will react when they come visit. There will be some ball busting but it will be fine. I''m 30. It will be ok. Besides, our one buddy just dropped $300 on a WHC belt at a houseshow. Only one of my close friends in our new city has seen my collection and he loves it because he collects Xmen and Macfarland sports figs.

I don't think i need anyone's support to buy toy figures. I would just go to the store and buy or buy through ebay.
I don't really need anyone to give me a pep talk/motivation/counsel/console/tell me i'm doing a good job or the right thing/ect when buying these figures.
