25 years ago today...Man Bret was killing it as a heel during this time period
Yeah, he was. Such a shame we can't see into the future. Had they known that WWF's fortune would turn around in a short time (about 6 months), and that Shawn would be gone after WM14, I think they would have kept Bret. WCW did nothing with him, I could definitely see Bret working out well with the WWF in 1998 and 1999. I would have loved to have seen Owen and Bret become a tag team during this time, this way to give Austin, Rock, Foley, Taker, Kane, HHH, their time at the top, but still allow Bret to be prominently used during this time. I could also see the heel Hart Foundation feuding with the babyface D-X (HHH, XPac, and the New Age Outlaws). Would have been fun to see.
Such a great match. The addition of Shawn was excellent. And the finish to the match was pure wrestling genius. Can't say enough about this match - the three best guys on the roster at the time, minus Austin, putting on a clinic. The timing of the chair shot was great, and Shawn's reaction was perfect.

A year ago today, we lost Daffney. This one still hurts.
It is not necessary to believe in God to be a good person. In a way, the traditional notion of God is outdated. One can be spiritual but not religious. Some of the best people in history did not believe in God, while some of the worst deeds were done in his name.
