15.2 What an incredible time to be a fan. The highest rated Raw was an 8.1 during the Attitude Era. No matter what people say, more fans were watching during the Hulkamania Era than any other period.  |

The Undertaker, who was last seen getting buried alive by Kane and the Nexus at Survivor Series, makes his return on Raw following weeks of a video airing that showed the numbers 2 21 11 and a guy in a black trench coat and boots many thought was Sting. He confronts HHH in the ring and both use gestures (throat slice, crotch chop, pointing at the WM sign) to announce a match at Wrestlemania 27.

Back when wrestling was fun. On a side note, I thought Taz was going to be a big star once he got to WWF, he had a unique look, was good in the ring, was good on the mic, and he had attitude (which was perfect for this time). Even though he was short, he wasn't going into an era of wrestling where the giants ruled the wrestling world. Most of the guys in the WWF at the time were around 6' tall or a little bigger, not a lot of 6'5'' or taller stars and there weren't a lot of 400-pounders anymore. |
