29 years ago today... Funny, I’ve been reading up about this time period recently. It’s crazy to think how shocking it was that Jake slapped Elizabeth, yet fast forward a few years and most fans wouldn’t bat an eyelid about man on woman violence in wrestling.

21 years ago today...The kick that would ultimately end a legendary career Just horrible. An end to one of the great careers. I wonder if Hart had not been that injured would he have eventually returned to the WWE in the mid-00s when it seemed he and the WWF were starting to mend fences. Some feuds he could have had at the time for a proper final year; Angle, Jericho, RVD, with his final match being a three-way match between him, HBK and Vince, with Bret getting the win and walking off into the sunset.

Yeah just a crummy way for his career to end during that time period.Imagine if he did return to the WWE after WCW and had a proper ending.Him and Angle man what couldve been.
But on the flip side though what a library of matches he has for us to watch over and over. Matches that will stand the test of time.

Bret it more the classical, mat wrestler, while HBK is more of the modern/up-tempo style. To me, these are my top 10 matches of Bret's, I could watch these over and over: 1. Austin - WM13 2. Perfect - SSL91 3. Bulldog - SSL92 4. HBK - SSE92 5. Perfect - KOTR93 6. Owen - WM10 7. Owen - SSL94 8. HBK - WM12 9. Piper - WM8 10.Diesel - SSE95

Yep, I would also throw in their stuff with the rockers and nasty boys. I hear their matches with the killer bees and Rougeau's were great too.
