So Tiger Wood's win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, for the 8th time, puts him back up at No. 1 in the rankings for the first time since 2010.
Nice to see him back on top, and in impressive fashion as well. I enjoyed seeing him win for the first time last year since 09, so this was a sight to see as well.
Anyone else care or also enjoy golf?

I love watching Golf, but primarily Tiger. He is the reason I started watching after his 97 Masters win. I think he needs to win a major to truly be back. Hopefully that will come soon.
The competition is a lot tougher now than when he was dominating in 2000 or so. He is a big reason for all of the young talent though. Without him, some of these guys would never have picked up a club.
He looks to be back in form now though past all the injuries, personal turmoil, and swing change.

He's playing better then he has been, however I refuse to say "he's back" until he wins a major.

I'm glad to see Tiger is back on the right path, but I'm not jumping on the "he's back" train. He's still got a lot of work to do.
As for me, I've been golfing for quite a long time. I was also on my high school team.

I'm awful at golf itself, but have enjoyed watching it since I was a kid. I think it's the quiet nature of the game. One of the few sports where you really focus on the individual, and the silence lets you see the emotion or struggles or achievements in a more personal light.

Oh, a golf thread, I thought you yanks would have lost interest after Medinah Only joking ;D I didn't see Tiger winning this. I don't know why, but I just didn't. Haven't kept up with golf lately and I hardly recognised some of the names on the leaderboard. It's so quick to change who's hot and who's not. I used to play but never really seen it through. My swing was good, I had the concentration, but it was just so damn cold. Over in Scotland you can play, maybe 2-3 months of the year. The rest of it, you're playing in woollen gloves and 4 or 5 layers making your movements and swing much harder.

Just a little Ryder Cup history, The United States raped the United Kingdom for so many year that the UK had to incorporate the entire continent of Europe to play with the USA.....Just a friendly reminder! haha

For golf, it's usually something I play every summer, but I can't stand watching on TV. I'm alright at it for a guy who has only played a couple year, but I've never gotten anything better than par on a hole.
Good for Tiger for getting on top again.

I'm glad to see Tiger back in it. He was always my favorite golfer. A major championship will make his comeback official.
