Greatest show on TV IMO. Ive seen every episode of NCIS (multiple times). Ive seen every episode of NCIS: L.A........some of them multiple times and I cant wait for the next spinoff NCIS: Red which is currently being developed in the most recent NCIS LA episodes. I was also a big fan of JAG which is where NCIS originated from, having spun off from it at the end of series.

Definitely a fan of NCIS. Sadly though, I've missed the last couple of seasons. Hopefully I can catch up on them. Call of Silence is still my favorite episode. Charles Durning played his role amazingly, and really pulls at the heart strings. The end, when he finally remembers what happened, and breaks down in tears, apologizing to his lost friend is so powerful. I'll admit, I've gotten misty eyed every time I watch that scene.

It is a great episode. "Twilight" (Season 2 last episode where Kate is killed) and Kill Ari Parts 1 & 2 (start of season 3) are probably my favorites. I never read online rumors or junk and I always watched shows like A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice etc where main characters didnt die. The episode before "Twilight" seemed like they were starting to get the Kate-Tony fling going where they would end up together and then bang....she's dead. Crazy. Also the last episode of season 9 was one of the best cliff hangers Ive seen in a tv show. Since you havent seen it, I wont spoil it but I highly recommend catching up with it. The final few episodes of season 9 were some of the best.

Indeed they were! It was a BIG cliff hanger at the end, as said, won't spoil it, but it's good!

I just never could get into JAG or NCIS or the spinoffs. Although sometimes I keep the channel on NCIS because of the hot goth chick.

I have to say, another personal favorite was the first episode, Yankee White. Funny how it was Gibbs who was using the movie reference, before it became Tony's thing, and then Tony and Ducky acting like kids, taking pictures of themselves at the President's desk on Air Force One.
It was too bad that Sasha Alexander decided to leave the show, since I liked Kate, but luckily Cote de Pablo as Ziva was a good addition. I loved the scene at the end of Ziva's first episode as part of the team, when she gives Gibbs Kate's sketch book she found, and he looks through, looking at the pictures she drew of each member of the team.

Any NCIS discussion has to involve this of course:

I watch SVU from time to time as well but I never enjoyed it as much as NCIS. SVU has really dropped since Stabler left. The show isnt the same as all. I rank it right up there with Bo and Luke being replaced by Coy and Vance on Dukes of Hazzard. I dont think SVU ever got the ratings that NCIS did though. They've been pulling some crazy ass ratings recently. On another topic, I dont know how Im going to like the cast for NCIS: Red. I just dont see a click with any of them right now (I know its only the second episode they've been together) as I did with the Washington team or the LA Team.

I never was a fan of this show till my wife pretty much made me watch it. I really like it now and I think that its way better than JAG ever was.

My parents and brother watch this show like it's the only thing on USA network, I think Abby is cute as hell To be fair, some days are just NCIS marathons. It's gotta be like 2/3 times a week. On another topic, I dont know how Im going to like the cast for NCIS: Red. I just dont see a click with any of them right now (I know its only the second episode they've been together) as I did with the Washington team or the LA Team. I'll always be a sucker for Kim Raver, but I agree with you. If the main story is going to be about her and that Roy guy, I'm not really digging it. I'm a big fan of NCIS, but for some reason I always find myself more excited to watch LA every Tuesday. I really got hooked during the episodes about Callen's origin story a season or two back.

NCIS:LA is the only show where the time-honored TV tradition of Unresolved Sexual Tension actually annoys me.

So whats people opinion on the show without Ziva so far? Its only been an episode but the whole thing just seemed "off". Its kinda right there with SVU without Elliot or Dukes of Hazzard without Bo & Luke.
Also even though NCIS: Red apparently flopped, rumors are strong that NCIS New Orleans (which will be part of a 2 episode NCIS) could be starting as soon as 2014. Anyone else ready for 3 hours of NCIS on Tuesdays?
