It really all depends on China, but what would they have to benefit from it? Their economy is still booming, and I just can't help but think they're not willing to get bogged down in a war that can do potential harm to it (they know how needless war affected us). Hell, if anything N. Korea could be helping our relationship with them.

We shall see if anything happens. South Korea is currently in watchcon 3 after reports of North Korea preparing and possibly launching multiple missiles.

Bigger target. Everything's bigger in Texas. Personally, I'm all in favor of taking the Jaws approach...ignoring this particular problem until it swims up and bites us in the ass. It may sound lax, but historically speaking, the US is a lot more successful when we wait to be attacked.

China has reportedly shut down the border. Sorry Chinese tourists, your trip to North Korea will have to wait.

North Korea is looking like a one-man army right now. Although that army has threatened war using nuclear weapons.
South Korea is now at a watch-con 2 from the latest reports I read last night surrounding NK's missile prep.

To get out of the way of North Korea's long range missiles."

If North Korea does anything, I think they'll fire a missile which will crash into the ocean. They will claim it was a warning shot which scared their enemies away, and everyone else will claim it was a test launch which crashed into the ocean. Then all the volatile rhetoric will whimper away for another year, when it will start all over again as soon as "Entertainment News" needs to boost viewers again.

Well according to sources from North Korea, Kim Jong Un doesn't have total control over the country. What if this is all part of Kim Jong Un's plan? Afterall, he was educated in the Western world. For all we know he could want a liberated North Korea and this boundary stepping could be just a way to give a reason for the U.S and other countries to step in and disestablish the government. An interesting theory.
