I think Lesnar's torso is too thick width-wise for Ryback. He's also more defined than Lesnar is and would probably need his own torso with larger traps. Given that they would have to do a whole new mold for him, I doubt they'll change his sculpt any time soon.

Basics are only mildly screwed up, but the Elite scale has been wonky for some time now. On his own, B27 Ryback looks awesome. Then I put him on my shelf and the problems begin. He's the same size as Batista, Triple H, Old John Cena figures, Mason Ryan, and Ultimate Warrior. And new John Cena is bigger, wider, and more muscular. Newer elite versions of Cody Rhodes, John Morrison, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Ricky Steamboat, and Dolph Ziggler have more muscle mass in their arms, and Rhodes and Ziggler have thicker legs. Alberto Del Rio has the same size arms as Ryback. I get it, these are mass market toys, but when they make better versions, the money flows in. Somebody like Ezekiel Jackson looked okay when they did his first figure, but remember how excited everyone was with his new figure and how many people bought it. Now imagine if it was someone as on fire as Ryback is now. I'm for it. P.S. I'd take Mattel's flawed approximate scale over Jakk's no-scale any day of the week. If Ryback had debuted during Jakks run, they would have used the Deluxe Aggression Finlay torso, because it had a singlet and was puffed up, I'm sure. I'd take no scale over inconsistent scale, Mattel have fudged up a few figures as of late, Mankind being too short, Vince being too tall etc etc... I have to agree though Ryback needs a lot of work done size wise, I was hyped for this figure when it was rumoured to be in the line, and was let down on both attire choice AND build.

They did it for Kane ![:-/](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/undecided.gif) Not to mention all the fat guys who got their own torso that was never reused

I also think elite 12 Kane should of had a bigger torso, waist and thighs since its suppose to be when Kane debuted!

![](http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y102/pijo31390/Fix-Ups/20130330_112707.jpg) I tried to scale my own Ryback but he's a bit too tall.

^I thought monstrous thighs like the ones used for Hillbilly Jim would've suited Ryback quite well.

That looks awesome! With a little work that could look perfect! Awesome proportions on him.

When I received my Ryback in the mail the other day the main thing I notice was the height scale. he is almost the same height as Dolph Ziggler. Has anyone tried any fix up methods? I would love to know instead of waiting another 6 months for a new Ryback elite.

Maybe this will answer your question. I don't know if its real or not but I saw this on twitter, it was a tweet the WWE retweeted from Pee Wee Herman

I honestly can't believe how inconsistent the scale has gotten on these. Ryback is so messed up I'm totally skipping him until his next Elite. I knew he was far too skinny compared to the Cenas and Lesnars, but only since looking at those photos have I realised how he's about six inches too short, too.
While we're on the topic of scale, here's another one I noticed recently. If you have an Elite 18 Undertaker and a Basic 16 Undertaker (Wrestlemania 21, iirc), stand them next to each other. According to Mattel, Undertaker lost about 4 inches of height during his Big Evil run, then had a growth spurt as the Deadman. But even then, Basic 16 still towers over most of his Deadman Elites, too.
As has been said, we've got Del Rios with arms the same size as Ryback, Cody is more jacked than the Rock (hopefully Elite 22 is as big as it looks) and so on.
Whoever is in charge of choosing body sculpts really needs to actually watch WWE from time to time instead of looking at still photos of guys and just guessing. This is not that hard to do.

I'm all for a updated torso. Ryback is too thin, I agree.

I would love to see the sculpt for Langston. As Mattel said in a post a bit ago, they will be making a special mold for him. This might be a better fit for all new Rybacks in the future. We will need to wait and see how it turns out first. I'm hoping that it would be perfect for Ryback.

I imagine that the E24 Ryback will be the same, but hopefully after that we can get an updated mold. They keep improving Cena, why not their new "big thing"?
I didn't know that they said that about Big E, their singlets have a similar "cut" to them and they could both look good if based off that Zeke torso, hopefully we can get something from that (but notice, Mattel, Big E has longer leg on his singlet, Ryback looks good with just the hip section colored in)

I am happy with the figure the way it is. Not a big deal to change the torso and make a full new mold IMO.
