I thought this would belong here as it includes modern wrestling. In your opinion what is the worst case of "Superman" booking ever?
For me it's Shawn Michaels in the 1996 Royal Rumble. The guy enters and eliminates 8 people with ease... Not only that but eliminates Yokozuna and Vader AT THE SAME TIME.
He makes Bulldog, Yokozuna, Vader, Diesel, Kid and hell everyone else in the rumble look like complete crap and it was obvious from the start that he was going to win.

Hogan in the 80's or Cena most of 2005-2011.

Hogan in the 80's or Cena most of 2005-2011. Pretty much what I was going to say. More-so Cena. Reason why I say Cena, remember when Big Show chokeslammed/threw him off the stage and Cena crashed into the giant spotlight and it exploded?? Cena appeared the next night on Raw without anything wong with him. Back in the day, if that were to happen, that wrestler would not have been seen for half a year. LOL They would've been out of action selling that injury for all its worth.

And before anyone accuses me of white knighting Cena, he's my example of worst Superman booking. Gets DDT'ed on concrete at SummerSlam 2010 by Barrett, then wins the match 30 seconds later without a trace of injury.

That cage is sick. I wish the WWE would do something like that.

I would have to go with Cena. I think it was RR 2011 when Punk and new nexus were literally eliminating everyone one at a time and then Cena came out and eliminated everyone...
That was rediculous...

I don't think we can even have this thread if we don't bring up Hogan from WrestleMania 9

John Cena vs Chris Benoit Raw 2006
It was about a 6 minute match where Benoit kicked Cena's a** for the majority of it and out of no where Cena slapped on that crappy STF for the quick win. This is the same Benoit who went 30 minutes w/ Angle at the 2003 RR before taping out. Just one example of how bad Super Cena has been at points.

Eliminating the last 2 nexus members in less than 30 seconds. the recent booking of the Cena/Ziggler matches from january of this year. Getting killed by Brock at Extreme Rules last year, only to punch Lesnar with his chain and AA'ing Lesnar on the Steps for the win.

Okay fair enough, he did appear for about 15 seconds while doing absolutely nothing and clearly being injured. I'd hardly call that Superman booking.

The 7 on 7 match at Summerslam 2010. Wade Barrett DDTs Cena on cement, at the count of 9 leaps up and into the ring. Pins Gabriel, makes Barrett tap in a minute span.

Obviously the Cena and Hogan stuff mentioned. Then there was the Rock, from the early 2000's who would kick the crap out of DX by himself. Or take 5 banzai drops and a sledgehammer to the gut from Rikishi and come out of it fine.

Aside from the obvious super Cena, I was pretty pissed off by Lashley at some points during 2007.
